570,032. Gas-fired reheating furnaces. PRIEST, C. F. Jan. 4, 1944, No. 128. [Classes 51 (i) and 51 (ii)] A gas-fired reheating furnace having a recirculatory system for the products of oombustion is provided, below the hearth 11 with 'a number of combustion chambers 10, each fitted with a burner 13 and connected by passages 20, 19 with vertical flues 16 at each side of the heating ohamber 12, the gases passing into the chamber 12 through apertures 17 and escaping therefrom through passages 26 to a horizontal collecting flue 25 from which they are delivered by a fan to a second flue 22 having connections 23, each controlled by a damper 24 to the inner ends of the combustion chambers 10.
