Abstract
452,005. Oil engines. TUGWOOD, R. J., 77, Chancery Lane, London.-(Daimler-Benz Akt.-Ges.; Untert³rkheim, Stuttgart, Germany) March 16, 1936, No. 7862. [Class 7 (iii)] Fuel is injected from a nozzle f into an inclined duct e into which an air accumulator g opens through passages h which are arranged at equal distances from the nozzle and diverge towards the main combustion space c. The passages h and the duct e are formed in a plug i made of material of low thermal conductivity. The main combustion space may be formed by an eccentrically disposed depression in the piston and the passages h may flare towards the main combustion space. Specification 413,512 is referred to.
