Abstract
426,248. Projectile fuzes. REMONDY, L. E., 42, Rue d'Anjou, Paris. Sept. 17, 1934, No. 26700. Convention date, July 31, 1934. Addition to 370,792. [Class 9 (i)] Relates to sensitive combined direct and momentum action percussion fuzes provided with a rear support as claimed in the parent Specification. According to this invention, the rear support is in the form of a cup e or a washer formed with lugs g which are held in place by a shoulder of a piece a<2> against the fuze body a. The cup may be turned in the opposite direction and fit like a thimble over the rear end of the part b of the fuze, in which case the lugs g may be secured under the washer h<1>. The lugs may be weakened to facilitate their rupture.
