414,945. Projectile fuzes. RHEINISCHE METALLWAAREN-UND MASCHINENFABRIK, 195, Ulmenstrasse, Derendorf, D³sseldorf, Germany. Nov. 29, 1933, No. 33467. Convention date, June 29. [Class 9 (i).] In a percussion fuze for small calibre high explosive projectiles, the momentum pellet c is supported by an inelastic, but deformable mass c<2> and is held at safe by a one-piece check-spring d which abuts against the fixed member b<1> of the fuze and engages in a conical recess c<4> in the movable member c. The onepiece spring may be in the form of a split tube, or as shown may comprise a pair of fingers projecting from a base part seated against the member b<1>.
