Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Jan. 29, 1934]. [Class 9 (i)] A combined time and percussion fuze comprises a central direct impact striker 2 of electron metal fitted with a firing-pin 3 and arranged in the fuze body 1 behind a covering membrane 4, a transverse centrifugal bolt 6 for locking the striker and itself locked by an inertia plug 7 held up by a spring 8, a time ring 13 fired by a percussion cap 12 struck by a laterally disposed inertia hammer 9 which pierces a safety disc 10, and a detonator 15 fired by the percussion fuze or the time fuze, whichever acts first.
