Abstract
311,396. Germershausen, W. May 12, 1928, [Convention date]. Addition to 306,034. Vacuum tubes.-In the device described in the parent Specification, for preventing discharge between the anodes a<1>, a<2> of rectifying tubes by means of conducting screens s', s<2> placed close to the anodes and connected together electrically, the screens are closed around the outside of the anodes by metal grids, nets, or perforated plates g<1>, g<2>. The parts s<1>, s<2> may then be of insulating material, the grids &c. g<1>, g<2> being connected together electrically and, if desired, connected through a high resistance to the cathode k. If the screens are closed by perforated plates, tubes may be arranged in the perforations.
