Spray carburettors; vaporizers, external.- Fuel vapour for starting is supplied to the induction pipe adjacent to the throttle f through a small conduit i communicating with a chamber h formed on or attached to the carburettor and containing an electric heating-coil n enclosed in a fluid-tight casing m. The chamber h communicates by a passage g with the fuel-pipe c leading from the float chamber a to the nozzle d, and is situated so that it is maintained about half full of fuel. Specification 168,939 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 101,596.
