Charge, moistening.-Moisture is drawn from the top of a radiator through the pipe m, Fig. 4, and passes with air entering through the hole n by way of the pipe d to the bottom of the vessel a, Fig. 2, and thence through the valve i and cock e to the induction pipe of the engine. The valve i is loaded with a spring h<1> and adjusted by the screw h. Surplus water escapes from the vessel by a pipe o, and the quantity of moistened air passing through the pipe d is controlled by a cock p. Specification 114.111 is referred to.
