Abstract
Un procedimiento para el recubrimiento continuo de un sustrato mediante una película formada por componentes reactivos de una mezcla gaseosa, en el cual las propiedades del recubrimiento varía continuamente a través del espesor de dicha película, comprendiendo dicho procedimiento las operaciones de (a) hacer fluir dicha mezcla gaseosa por una zona de reacción definida por una trayectoria de flujo para dichos componentes reactivos contigua, paralela y vinculada a una superficie del sustrato, (b) depositar, preferentemente, un producto de reacción derivado de un componente más reactivo de dicha mezcla sobre una porción de dicha superficie expuesta antes a dicha mezcla gaseosa, © depositar, preferentemente, un producto de reacción derivado de un componente menos reactivo de dicha mezcla sobre una porción de dicha superficie expuesta posteriormente a dicha mezcla gaseosa, y (d) mover dicha superficie del sustrato a lo largo de dicha zona de reacción , en una dirección paralela a dicha trayectoria de flujo, para obtener una variación de la composición de dicho recubrimiento por todo el espesor de dicho recubrimiento, a medida que dicho sustrato emerge de dicha zona de reacción
