COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE APLICA SOBRE EL VIDRIO UN RECUBRIMIENTO TRANSPARENTE DE BARRERA QUE CONTIENE SILICIO Y OXIGENO, EFECTUANDOSE DICHA OPERACION POR PIROLISIS DE UN SILANO GASEOSO; SEGUNDA, SE PIROLIZA EL SILANO SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL VIDRIO A UNA TEMPERATURA SUPERIOR A 600 GRADOS, EN PRESENCIA DE UN COMPUESTO GASEOSO DONADOR DE ELECTRONES, CON LO QUE EL OXIGENO PROCEDENTE DEL VIDRIO SE INCORPORA AL SILICIO PARA FORMAR EL RECUBRIMIENTO TRANSPARENTE DE BARRERA, CON UN ESPESOR DE HASTA 50 MM SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL VIDRIO, CAPAZ DE REDUCIR LA DIFUSION DE LOS IONES METALICOS ALCALINOS; Y POR ULTIMO, SE APLICA SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL VIDRIO ASI RECUBIERTO, UNA CAPA SENSIBLE A LA DIFUSION DE LOS IONES METALICOS ALCALINOS.
