Descripción
[0001] La presente tecnología se refiere a dispositivos implantables terapéuticas en un sitio diana, como una abertura en un cuello de un aneurisma. En particular, la presente tecnología se dirige en general a dispositivos de aneurisma con mecanismos de anclaje adicionales y sistemas y métodos asociados.

[0002] Muchos de los enfoques quirúrgicos disponibles actualmente para el cierre de aberturas y la reparación de defectos en lúmenes anatómicas y tejidos (por ejemplo, vasos sanguíneos), defectos del tabique, y otros tipos de 15 irregularidades y defectos anatómicos son altamente invasivos. 35 [0004] Es crucial implantar con precisión tales dispositivos vaso-oclusivos dentro del volumen interno de una cavidad y mantener el dispositivo dentro del volumen interno del aneurisma. Migración o proyección de un dispositivo vasooclusivo de la cavidad pueden interferir con el flujo sanguíneo o estructuras fisiológicas cercanas y plantean un serio riesgo para la salud. Además de las dificultades de la entrega de los dispositivos de oclusión implantables, algunos tipos de aneurismas son difíciles de tratar debido a las características estructurales del aneurisma o debido a las

DESCRIPCIÓN DETALLADA

En esta situación, el dispositivo de aneurisma puede ser retraído después de
la colocación de los materiales embólicos, o puede ser separado y dejado en el sitio.
