La presente invención también proporciona una lámina de múltiples capas en la que al menos una capa está formada a partir de una red de electreto no tejida de la presente invención. En una realización preferente de la presente invención, las láminas de múltiples capas comprenden una capa de trama o malla no tejida de endurecimiento para hacerla plegable, capa que contiene en al menos una de sus superficies una capa de una red que comprende microfibras y/o nanofibras. Preferentemente, tal capa contiene fibras sopladas en estado fundido hechas de polímeros termoplásticos que contienen un primer aditivo (a) que comprende una amina impedida y un segundo aditivo (b) que comprende una bisamida orgánica obtenida a partir de diaminas orgánicas que se hacen reaccionar con dos ácidos carboxílicos.
En otra realización preferente de la presente invención, las láminas de múltiples capas comprenden una combinación de una capa de red de electreto protegida y una capa de filtro gruesa que se selecciona entre el grupo que consiste en papel de alta capacidad preparado por vía húmeda, papel de alta capacidad preparado por vía seca, material no tejido soplado en estado fundido de masa elevada, material no tejido de hilatura directa modular y una capa no tejida de hilatura directa microdenier, capa de filtro gruesa que se ubica corriente arriba en la dirección de flujo de aire de la capa de red de electreto no tejida. Tales capas de filtro gruesas se describen, por ejemplo, en el documento de Patente EP 0 960 645 A2. La capa de filtro gruesa es una capa hecha de fibras gruesas y tiene por lo general una baja densidad.
La invención también se refiere a un proceso para fabricar la red de electreto no tejida de la presente invención. Por lo tanto, la presente invención también se refiere un proceso para fabricar una red de electreto no tejida, proceso que comprende las etapas de:
i) proporcionar un material de polímero termoplástico que comprende un polímero, un primer aditivo (a) y un segundo aditivo (b), en el que el primer aditivo (a) comprende una amina impedida, y el segundo aditivo (b) comprende una bisamida orgánica obtenida a partir de diaminas orgánicas que se hacen reaccionar con dos ácidos carboxílicos; ii) formar fibras a partir del material de polímero termoplástico; iii) formar una red no tejida a partir de las fibras que se forman en la etapa (ii); y iv) tratar las fibras que se forman en la etapa (ii) y/o la red no tejida que se forma en la etapa (iii) con un líquido polar para obtener un material no tejido con una carga de electreto.
El material de polímero termoplástico, el primer aditivo (a) y el segundo aditivo (b) que se pueden usar de forma adecuada en el proceso se han definido anteriormente en el presente documento.
En la etapa (iii), se puede hacer uso de cualquier proceso conocido de formación de redes.
En la etapa (iii), se usa preferentemente un proceso por vía húmeda. Preferentemente, en la etapa (ii) se usa un proceso de hilatura directa o un proceso de soplado en estado fundido. Más preferentemente, en la etapa (ii) se usa un proceso de soplado en estado fundido.
En la etapa (iv), las fibras que se forman en la etapa (ii) y/o la red no tejida que se forman la etapa (iii) se tratan con una cantidad eficaz de un líquido polar de un modo tal que se obtenga una red no tejida con una carga de electreto. De forma adecuada, tal tratamiento se lleva a cabo por medio de un tratamiento de pulverización. El líquido polar puede ser un alcohol líquido o agua. Preferentemente, se usa agua como líquido polar. Preferentemente, se usa agua destilada o desionizada. También se pueden usar mezclas de líquidos polares. El líquido polar se pulveriza preferentemente sobre las fibras que se forman en la etapa (ii) y/o sobre el material no tejido que se forma en la etapa (iii) por medio de una boquilla o cualquier otro dispositivo formador de gotitas, que sea capaz de formar gotitas que comprendan fracciones de diferentes diámetros de gotita.
De forma adecuada, el líquido polar se pulveriza sobre las fibras inmediatamente después de que estas se hayan formado, por ejemplo, inmediatamente después de que las fibras hayan abandonado la boquilla de hilado. Como líquido de enfriamiento se conoce el uso de líquidos polares, tales como agua, para enfriar las fibras inmediatamente después de su formación. En el caso en el que se use agua como líquido de enfriamiento, tal etapa de enfriamiento se denomina enfriamiento con agua.
A este respecto, se observa que el documento de Patente US 3.959.421 desvela un molde convencional de soplado en estado fundido y un aparato colector con boquillas de pulverización de agua ubicadas entre los mismos. Las boquillas, son boquillas accionadas por aire que usan aire comprimido para dispersar, o atomizar, el agua líquida para producir una pulverización de gotitas de agua. Las gotitas se dirigen hacia lados opuestos de las fibras extruidas en una posición corriente arriba a donde la incidencia formaría de otro modo un proceso sin enfriamiento. Las gotitas de agua enfrían las fibras principalmente a través de enfriamiento por evaporación en el que las gotitas de líquido se vaporizan, retirando de ese modo el calor latente de vaporización de las fibras. La solicitud desvelada de fluido de enfriamiento permite una tasa de producción de hasta aproximadamente 3,0 Ib/h/in. La tasa de producción está limitada por la tasa de agua de enfriamiento máxima permisible sin la formación de una denominada red húmeda. En este contexto, se observa que una red húmeda es una red que tiene agua líquida atrapada entre los huecos del tejido.
