LOS COMPUESTOS QUE CONTIENEN EPOXI SE PREPARAN: (1) UTILIZANDO UN REACTIVO DE ALILO; (2) ALILANDO UNO O MAS COMPUESTOS QUE CONTENGAN AL MENOS UN ATOMO DE HIDROGENO ACTIVO POR MOLECULA UTILIZANDO EL REACTIVO DE ALILO DEL PASO (1) CON LO QUE SE FORMA UN COMPUESTO DE ETER DE ALILO, AMINA DE ALILO O TIOETER DE ALILO; Y (3) CONVIRTIENDO LOS GRUPOS ALILO DEL COMPUESTO DEL PASO (2) EN GRUPOS EPOXIDO CON LO QUE SE FORMA UN COMPUESTO DE ETER DE GLICIDILO, AMINA DE GLICIDILO O TIOETER DE GLICIDILO, QUE SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE EL REACTIVO DE ALILO ES UN CARBOXILATO DE ALILO O CARBONATO DE ALILO.
