COMPRENDE HACER REACCIONAR UNA QUINOLONA DE FORMULA (I) CON UN AGENTE CLORANTE SELECCIONADO ENTRE CLORURO DE SULFURILO, HIPOCLORITO DE SODIO, N-CLOROSUCCIONIMIDA, CLORO Y UN ESTER DEL ACIDO HIPOCLOROSO DE FORMULA RBS4 SCOCL, EN UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO Y A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 0GC Y LA TEMPERATURA DE REFLUJO DEL DISOLVENTE DURANTE 5 MINUTOS A 10 HORAS, PARA PRODUCIR LOS COMPUESTOS DE FORMULA (II). ADEMAS, DICHO COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (II) PUEDE SOMETERSE A ELIMINACION DEL GRUPO PROTECTOR Y/O A UNA HIDROLISIS DEL GRUPO ESTER PARA DAR LOS COMPUESTOS DE FORMULA (II).
