Abstract

The present invention provides compounds of the general formula:- <IMAGE> wherein R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen or halogen atoms, hydroxy or nitro groups, alkyl or alkoxy radicals containing up to 6 carbon atoms or trifluoromethyl radicals or R1 and R2 together represent a methylenedioxy radical, R3 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl radical containing up to 6 carbon atoms or an aryl or substituted aryl radical and R4 is a carboxamido, cyano or tetrazolyl radical; and the pharmaceutically acceptable organic and inorganic salts thereof. The present invention also provides a process for preparing these compounds, as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
