- the oil phase is heated to a temperature of at least 40°C, more preferably to temperature of at least 50°C, more preferably to 52°C to 58°C.
- the oil phase and the water phase are mixed to form an emulsion.
- the mixing may be performed by any kind of suitable mixing known in the art. In a particular embodiment the mixing is performed by high shear mixing.
- the calcium compound and glycerol is then mixed with the emulsion preferably at ambient temperature as the mixing will produce heat due to exothermic reaction.
