Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif destinés à fabriquer des paquets (10) pour des cigarettes, comprenant un moyen de transport (32) de préférence entraîné en continu, en particulier une bande transporteuse (42) comportant un entraîneur (43), destiné à transporter les paquets (10) dans une direction de transport prédéfinie (44), et un système destiné à appliquer des supports d'impression comme des banderoles (26), des étiquettes, des coupons ou similaires sur une surface latérale des paquets (10), le système comportant un logement (49) pour au moins un paquet (10) et étant conçu pour déplacer ledit paquet (10) situé dans le logement (49) dans une position relative appropriée à l'application d'un support d'impression. Selon l'invention, le support d'impression peut être appliqué, au moyen du système destiné à appliquer des supports d'impression, sur une première surface latérale (23) du paquet (10), orientée à l'opposé de la direction de transport (44) des paquets (10) sur le moyen de transport (32), de sorte qu'une partie (54) du support d'impression dépasse latéralement de la première surface latérale (23) du paquet (10), et que la partie de dépassement (54) puisse être pliée, au moyen d'un organe de pliage (55) du système, contre une seconde et autre surface latérale (14) du paquet (10) qui est agencée à proximité de la première surface latérale (23) du paquet (10).
