Definitions
- the invention relates to a transport container, comprising a jacket made in particular of round fabric, which extends between a lower part and an upper part in such a way that a container volume for accommodating granular, liquid, viscous or semi-liquid substances, in particular bitumen, is formed, with several, preferably four, stabilizing elements are provided, which run along the casing from the area of the lower part to the area of the upper part, and the ends of which are connected at least in the area of the lower part via a tension and pressure-resistant bracing structure, with the stabilizing elements being designed as tubes which are attached to the outer surface of the coat are arranged.
- Such large-volume transport containers are known from the prior art under the designation Big Bags.
- a problem arises in particular when filling these transport containers with viscous substances such as bitumen, which are viscous at higher ambient temperatures and tend to slowly and steadily move the transport container out of its equilibrium position through mass displacement, so that stable long-term storage of the filled transport container cannot be guaranteed can.
- stabilization constructions are known in the prior art, which are used to accommodate and mechanically stabilize the transport container.
- the Australian patent application discloses AU 2008 202 062 A1 such a device, which comprises pluggable tubes.
- Other devices of this type are known, for example, from the Japanese patent applications JP 2002 337939 A and JP 2015 182787 A and from the French patent applications FR 2 158 093 A1 and FR 2 634 469 A1 known.
- the known devices are simply plugged together during assembly and are therefore not very stable, especially when lifting.
- the object of the invention is to solve this and other problems of known transport containers and to provide a transport container which, on the one hand, ensures long-term and safe storage of the filled materials and, on the other hand, is recyclable if possible and can be stored and transported compactly even when unfilled .
- the bracing structure comprises several, preferably four, tensile and pressure-resistant flat, elongated struts in the form of flat bars, which are flush and non-positively connected at their ends to the tubes and form a square support surface.
- the flat bars can have a thickness of 1mm-3mm and a width of 40mm-60mm.
- An advantage of using such a thin flat bar is that the flat bar has a certain flexibility and can thus adapt to the shape of the filled transport container to a certain extent.
- the bracing construction can comprise a plurality of tensile and pressure-resistant metallic profile frames which are preferably flush and non-positively connected at their ends to the tubes and form an essentially square support surface.
- This bracing structure according to the invention forms a frame that serves exclusively to shape the transport container.
- an approximately square profile of the transport container is formed instead of a circular one, as is usually the case with cylindrical containers. This counteracts the container falling over.
- the bracing construction according to the invention allows a Attachment to means of transport without exerting direct forces on the casing of the flexible container.
- the stabilizing elements are releasably connected to the bracing structure, so that the frame according to the invention can be delivered folded up and assembled on site.
- Hydrostatic pressure is built up when the flexible container is filled with bitumen.
- a container that is made from a fabric tube and is only sewn to the square bottom and the square top of the same size would assume a cylindrical shape without the laterally arranged stabilizing elements.
- the hydrostatic pressure is absorbed by the counteracting static system of four vertically arranged stabilizing elements, which are frictionally connected to struts at the bottom and possibly also at the top, so that a balance is created in which the desired almost square profile shape of the transport container is achieved.
- the stabilizing elements are designed as metallic tubes, inside which threaded rods are arranged.
- the threaded rods can in particular be designed with an M10 thread.
- the bracing structure includes struts in the form of flat bars, which are clamped together with the threaded rods using nuts or other connecting elements in such a force-fitting manner that two struts each form a rigid 3-dimensional corner with one end of a tube.
- the jacket can be formed from a fabric made of plastic or fibers, preferably in the form of round material, which can be used directly for the container body without a horizontal seam. These materials can practically only absorb tensile stresses and are cheaply available.
- the stabilizing elements can include rigid tubes made of steel, wood or plastic and are preferably hollow cylindrical or rectangular profiles with an appropriately dimensioned moment of inertia and pressure stability, which are arranged vertically on the side surfaces of the container in such a way that after unfolding and subsequent filling they are in the middle as uprights run along the side surfaces of the container body.
- the stabilizing elements can be designed as tubes with a diameter of 30mm-40mm.
- the tubes can have a thickness of about 1mm and are preferably made of metal.
- the tubes can also be made of plastic or other materials.
- the struts are designed as high-tension static flat bars, which are frictionally connected underneath or inside, for example in a double floor or in guides in the container floor, to the stabilizing elements arranged on the side of the container body in such a way that they form a square support surface when viewed from above.
- the struts are designed from such a material and in such a form that they can also absorb pressure and bending stresses, at least to a certain extent. This can increase the strength of the Contribute to the overall construction and enable an economical design of the construction that is adapted to the specific applications, for example rougher transport and storage conditions in certain parts of the world.
- struts can optionally also be performed directly by an upper part designed in this way, for example a fabric panel with or without reinforcements through folds, sewn-in belts, etc., so that the transverse forces introduced into the upper part via the vertical stabilization elements during filling can be reliably absorbed .
- Separate tension members preferably those with a certain compressive strength and flexural strength, can preferably also be provided on the upper part in order to keep the container body free from undesired stresses.
- the stabilizing elements and struts only serve to stabilize the transport container and are not used for lifting and manipulating the container.
- the support structure can be designed easily and inexpensively.
- the weight of the filled container should preferably be transferred mainly via lifting slings attached directly to the shell of the container.
- the support structure in the form of the stabilizing elements and the struts can be designed as a unit which is essentially independent of the container body and can be used for multiple purposes.
- the container bodies can be reworked into normal big bags after being used for bitumen transportation, such as for building materials or the like, while the inner liner is melted down with the bitumen. Overall, this enables cost-effective, logistical solutions with good use of materials and resources.
- the support structure in the form of stabilizing elements and struts can be used to advantage to ensure stable installation, for example on uneven storage areas, or when loading into/onto means of transport such as trucks or containers using suitable loading aids such as straps or hooks.
- the tubes can be arranged on the outer surface of the jacket in fabric sleeves which are arranged in sections or cover the entire jacket and are preferably fastened to the jacket by seams.
- the tensile and pressure-resistant struts are provided only in the area of the lower part and the stabilizing elements in the area of the upper part are connected by tensile belts, belts, fabric straps or chains.
- a filler neck can be provided in the upper part in a known manner.
- the diameter of the tubes essentially corresponds to the width of the flat bars in order to ensure that when the flat bars are fastened, they assume a substantially right angle with the tubes.
- the jacket is formed from a flat fabric or a round fabric, and that a plastic coating or a liner made of plastic such as polyethylene or a comparable material with a similar thermal behavior is arranged inside the jacket.
- At least two, preferably four lifting loops are arranged on the jacket, which are preferably arranged in the area between two stabilizing elements.
- the lifting slings are fastened to the jacket in the area between two stabilizing elements by means of fastening means, preferably strips of fabric.
- the lifting loops can preferably each be arranged centrally between two stabilizing elements.
- Threaded rods and nuts can be provided for connecting the tubes to the struts, with the threaded rods being arranged in the tubes.
- the diameter of the tubes can match the width of the struts in order to achieve a stable, flush connection of the tubes with the struts.
- FIG. 1a show schematic views of a first embodiment of the invention.
- the transport container 1 is in Fig. 1a shown from above and comprises a jacket 2 made of a round fabric, which is limited at its upper edge by an upper part 4.
- a filler neck 11 for filling the transport container 1 is arranged in the upper part 4, and inside the jacket 2 there is a liner 5 made of a plastic such as polyethylene.
- tubes 6 with inserted threaded rods 7 run along the shell 2.
- the tubes 6 are inserted into fabric sleeves 8, which are arranged by seams 14 on the outer surface of the shell 2 and extend from the lower part 3 to the upper part 4 of the transport container 1 .
- Fig. 1b shows that the stabilizing elements both in the area of the lower part 3 and in the area of the upper part 4 are connected to one another in a tension-resistant and pressure-resistant manner by means of a bracing structure. This creates a stable frame that keeps the transport bag upright and stable inside.
- FIG. 1a shows the transport container in the filled state, with four corners forming between the stabilizing elements due to the pressure of the filling material.
- Lifting loops 12 are arranged at the corners by means of fabric strips 13 in order to be able to lift the transport container with a forklift, for example. A load on the stabilizing elements and the bracing structure should be avoided.
- the stabilizing elements comprise threaded rods 7 inserted into tubes 6.
- the tubes 6 are made of metal with a
- the threaded rods 7 At the two ends of the threaded rods 7, these are each connected to tensile and pressure-resistant struts in the form of flat bars 9, so that a cuboid bracing structure with a square cross section is formed.
- the threaded rods 7 or the tubes 6 can be connected to one another with high tensile strength by means of ropes, belts, belts or chains, at least in the region of the upper part 4 .
- Threaded rods 7 are arranged in the tubes 6, which have a much smaller diameter than the tubes 6.
- the threaded rods 7 are screwed tightly to the flat bars 9 by a nut 10, the screw connection being made so tight that the tube 6 presses the flat bars 9 in a rigid right-angled connection.
- the diameter of the tube 6, at 40 mm is approximately matched to the width of the flat bar 9, at 40 mm to 60 mm.
- the threaded rod arranged in the tube 6 has a diameter of about 10 mm.
- the threaded rod is preferably arranged to be freely movable in the pipe, so that the threaded rod can move in the pipe when the screw connection is tightened. After fixing the bracing structure, the position of the threaded rod in the pipe is essentially fixed.
- Fig. 1d shows a schematic cross section through the tubes 6 along the section DD in Fig. 1b .
- the tubes 6 are arranged on the side of the shell 2 in fabric sleeves 8, the fabric sleeves 8 being tightly connected to the shell by seams 14. This ensures that the tubes 6 fit snugly against the jacket.
- a threaded rod 7 is freely movable.
- the larger diameter of the tube 6 in relation to the threaded rod 7 has the further advantage that the shell 2 is only slightly stressed, since the load is distributed over a larger circumference of the pipe 6 by the tightened threaded rod 7 .
- Figures 2a - 2d show schematic views of an embodiment not according to the invention.
- the transport container 1 is in Figure 2a shown from above and comprises a jacket 2 made of a round fabric, which is limited at its upper edge by an upper part 4.

- FIG. 2a shows the transport container in the filled state, with four corners forming between the stabilizing elements due to the pressure of the filling material.
- lifting loops 12 are arranged by means of fabric strips 13 in order to be able to lift the transport container with a forklift, for example. A load on the stabilizing elements and the bracing structure should be avoided.
- Figure 2b shows a schematic side view of two transport containers not according to the invention, which are stacked one on top of the other.
- the stabilizing elements in the form of tubes 6 are connected to each other in the area of the lower part as well as in the area of the upper part by a bracing structure in the form of upper profile frames 15a and lower profile frames 15b in a tensile and pressure-resistant manner. This creates a stable frame that keeps the transport bag upright and stable inside.
- the bracing structure includes an upper profile frame 15a and a lower profile frame 15b, which are connected to the tubes 6 are flush and non-positively connected and form a substantially square support surface.

Description
-
Fig. 1a - 1d zeigen schematische Ansichten eines ersten erfindungsgemäßen Ausführungsbeispiels.
- In
