Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a transport auxiliary device which is suitable for improving the transport of objects which are transported on pallets and which are therefore hereinafter referred to as pallet goods.
  • the invention is based on the object of providing a device for the more economical transport of palletized goods.
  • the invention solves the problem of insufficient space utilization by those pallets that are only loaded with a comparatively low height.
  • a pallet e.g. is placed on the floor of a truck body (usually also referred to as a suitcase), the space above the pallet can no longer be used for transport. This is only possible if the objects on the pallet are exceptionally stable and shaped so that a second pallet can be placed directly on these objects. Usually this is not possible. The loading capacity of the truck body can then only be used insufficiently.
  • each support beam of the support device has a connection device.
  • each support bar has a holding device for connection to a second pallet, so that this is held at a vertical distance from the first pallet.
  • auxiliary transport devices of the type mentioned above are from U.S. 2,926,792 A and the FR 1 260 686 A known. They have in common that the connecting devices of the support bars provided for connection to the first lower pallet are each supported on the loading floor of the first lower pallet.
  • an auxiliary transport device with a support device comprising four support bars

  • the auxiliary transport device has a support device which can be connected to the lower pallet.
  • a further pallet can be placed on this support device and is held there by a holding device at a distance from the first pallet. The weight exerted by the pallet is completely absorbed by the support device, so that the objects which are arranged on the lower pallet are not loaded by the weight of the upper pallet.
