Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a transport auxiliary device, in particular to a device which is suitable for improving the transport of objects transported on pallets and which are therefore referred to below as pallet goods.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a device for more economical transport of palletized goods available.
  • the invention solves the problem of poor use of space by those pallets that are loaded only with a comparatively low height.
  • a pallet is e.g. placed on the floor of a truck body (commonly referred to as a suitcase), the space above the pallet can not be further used for transport. This is only possible if the items on the pallet exceptionally stable and shaped so that you can park a second pallet directly on these items. In general, this is not possible. The loading capacity of the truck body can then be used only insufficiently.
  • a modular low-cost shelf assembly in which a plurality of pallets, each at a distance to each other- are arranged one above the other.
  • the shelf assembly has for this purpose a plurality of vertically and horizontally oriented support members between which the pallets are received.
  • the support members are interconnected by bolts which are inserted into keyhole-like recesses. The connection is thus solvable.
  • the present invention provides a transport assist device with which it is possible to meet the problem set out above.
  • the Transport auxiliary device has a support device which is connectable to the lower pallet. On this support means, another pallet can be placed, and is held there by a holding device at a distance from the first pallet. The weight force exerted by the pallet is completely absorbed by the support means, so that the objects placed on the lower pallet are not loaded by the weight of the upper pallet.
