Definitions
- the present invention relates to a motor vehicle lock according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for controlling a motor vehicle lock according to the preamble of claim 10.
- the motor vehicle lock in question is used for all types of locking elements of a motor vehicle. This includes, in particular, side doors, rear doors, tailgates, trunk lids or hoods. These closure elements can in principle also be designed in the manner of sliding doors.
- the motor vehicle lock in question is arranged on the respective locking element and is equipped with conventional locking elements such as a lock latch and pawl.
- the lock latch can be brought into a closed position in which it is in holding engagement with a locking wedge or the like, and into an open position in which it releases the locking wedge.
- the pawl can be brought into a retracted position in which it holds the lock latch in a closed position and into a raised position in which it releases the lock latch.
- the known motor vehicle lock from which the present invention is based shows the above basic structure.
- the motor vehicle lock is also equipped with an electric opening drive for motorized lifting of the pawl.
- This convenience function is also known as the Open-By-Wire function (OBW function).
- the known motor vehicle lock is equipped with a lock mechanism.
- the lock mechanism allows the pawl to be lifted out manually from the outside and inside using an outside door handle and an inside door handle.
- the lock mechanism can be set to the mechanical lock states “unlocked” (UL), “locked” (CL) and “theft-proof” (DL).
- While the well-known motor vehicle lock provides a high level of user comfort, it involves an inherent risk in the system. This risk is that it is fundamentally possible to trigger an OBW process while the lock mechanism is in lock state DL. In the case. If an authenticated user triggers a motorized opening process when the lock mechanism is in the lock state DL, gets into the motor vehicle, slams the door and then the supply voltage fails, it is not possible to lift the pawl manually from the inside (and outside). The occurrence of such an undesirable locking state is accompanied by a reduction in the operational security of the motor vehicle lock.
- the well-known motor vehicle lock has a comparable structure, with the pawl being lifted out manually from the inside using an inside door handle if the supply voltage fails.
- the invention is based on the problem of designing and developing the known motor vehicle lock in such a way that operational safety is increased.
- FIG. 1 Motor vehicle lock shown is equipped with the usual locking elements lock latch 1 and pawl 2, with the lock latch 1 in the in Fig. 1
- the closed position shown in which it is in holding engagement with a locking wedge 3 or the like, can be brought.
- the lock latch 1 can also be brought into an open position, not shown, in which it releases the locking wedge 3.
- the open position results from pivoting the lock latch 1 from the in Fig. 1 Position shown to the right, so that the locking wedge 3 can be adjusted upwards.
- the pawl 2 can be brought into the collapsed position shown, in which it holds the lock latch 1 in a closed position, and into a raised position, not shown, in which it releases the lock latch 1.
- Lifting out the pawl 2 involves pivoting the pawl 2 in Fig. 1 left, back.
- the lifting movement of the pawl 2 is in Fig. 1 indicated with arrows.
- the motor vehicle lock has an electric opening drive 4 for lifting the pawl 2 by motor.
- the opening drive 4 is coupled to the pawl 2 via a mechanical coupling 5.
- the motor vehicle lock is further equipped with a lock mechanism 6 for manually lifting the pawl 2 from the outside and from the inside via an outside door handle 7 and an inside door handle 8.
- the manual lifting of the pawl 2 is primarily intended for emergencies, especially in the event of a power failure. This is also known as "mechanical redundancy”.
- outside door handle 7 and the inside door handle 8 are each equipped with an actuation switch, not shown, which are coupled via electrical couplings 9, 10 to the opening drive 4 or a control arrangement assigned to the opening drive 4.
- the outside door handle 7 and the inside door handle 8 are each coupled to the lock mechanism 6 via mechanical couplings 11, 12.
- an actuation of the outside door handle 7 and/or the inside door handle 8 is always connected to an actuation via both the electrical couplings 9, 10 and the mechanical couplings 11, 12.
- the motorized lifting of the pawl 2 regularly takes place so quickly that after the motorized lifting, the manual actuation via the mechanical couplings 11, 12 has not yet progressed in any significant way.
- This "overtaking" of manual lifting by motorized lifting is also referred to as "overtaking function".
- the operating mode with the “overtaking function” is only to be understood as an example. Other operating modes are conceivable.
- the motor vehicle lock can generally be brought into the lock states “unlocked” (UL), “locked” (CL) and “theft-proof” (DL).
- the pawl 2 can be lifted manually from the outside and inside in the lock state UL, not from the outside in the lock state CL, but from the inside and in the lock state DL neither from the outside nor from the inside.
- the lock states above are control-related with an in Fig. 1 only indicated control arrangement 13 and shown mechanically in the lock mechanism 6.
- the control-related mapping is based, for example, on the setting of an electronic memory, with the opening drive 4 being activated depending on which lock status is currently stored in the memory.
- the mechanical representation of the lock states takes place in the lock mechanism 6 via corresponding, switchable clutches.
- a central locking drive is provided for the lock status CL and an anti-theft drive for the lock status DL. It is also conceivable to integrate these two drives into a single drive.
- the lock mechanism 6 is divided here into two functional sections 6a, 6b, the first section 6a being used to engage or disengage the outside door handle 7 and the second section 6b to engage or disengage the inside door handle 8.
- This subdivision of the lock mechanism 6 serves to provide better clarity. This division does not have to be implemented constructively.
- Both functional sections 6a, 6b each provide part of a coupling mechanism 14 of the lock mechanism 6. As explained above, this coupling mechanism 14 is required for engaging and disengaging the outer door handle 7 and the inner door handle 8.
- Both sections 6a, 6b of the lock mechanism 6 also each provide part of a monitoring arrangement 15 of the lock mechanism 6, which serves to monitor the respective lock status.
- the monitoring arrangement 15 here has at least one status sensor 16, preferably at least one Status switch 16, on.
- a CL status sensor in particular a CL status switch
- the CL status switch can be used to monitor whether the lock status CL has been ejected, i.e. whether the lock status UL is now present.
- a DL status sensor 16 in particular a DL status switch 16, is provided for monitoring the lock status DL.
- the DL status switch 16 is open when the lock state DL is present.
- Other variants are conceivable.
- the lock mechanism 6 preferably has a central locking drive and/or an anti-theft device drive, with the lock mechanism 6 being controlled into the lock state CL or UL by a corresponding control of the central locking drive or the anti-theft device drive before each motorized opening process.
- This control is preferably carried out by the in Fig. 1 shown control arrangement 13 perceived.
- the proposed solution intervenes by blocking the motorized lifting of the pawl 2 in the above manner.
- control arrangement 13 monitors the lock state by means of the monitoring arrangement 15 and blocks or enables the motorized lifting of the pawl 2 depending on the lock state.
- control arrangement 13 monitors the CL status switch and/or the DL status switch accordingly.
- a status switch 16 here and preferably the DL status switch 16 is connected to the circuit 17, here the power circuit 17, of the opening drive 4 in such a way that the motor-driven lifting of the pawl 2 is carried out electrically is locked as long as the lock mechanism 6 is in the functional position DL.
- a CL status switch can also be used instead of the DL status switch 16, provided that an appropriate circuit is selected.
- the DL status switch 16 is connected to the ground supply line 18 for the opening drive 4. As long as the lock mechanism 6 is in the lock state DL, the DL status switch 16 is open, so that the opening drive 4 remains de-energized. Only when the lock mechanism 6 is transferred to the lock state CL or UL does the DL status switch 16 close, so that a current flow through the opening drive 4 is possible.
- the DL status switch 16 As an alternative to the above connection of the DL status switch 16 within the power circuit of the opening drive 4, it can also be provided to switch the DL status switch 16 into a control circuit of the opening drive 4.
- the optimal choice of wiring depends largely on the drive components involved.
- the status sensor 16 is designed as an electrical sensor, magnetic sensor, optical sensor or the like.
- the status sensor 16 is designed as a microswitch.
- an embodiment as a sliding switch or the like is also conceivable.
- the status sensor 16 interacts with a lever (not shown), in particular with a central locking lever or with an anti-theft lever, of the lock mechanism 6.
- the motor vehicle lock is here and preferably equipped with a housing 19 which is in Fig. 1 is only hinted at.
- the control arrangement 13 is arranged outside the housing 19. This is particularly appropriate if the control arrangement 13 is part of a central door control. In principle, the control arrangement 13 can also be arranged within the housing 19.
- the motor vehicle lock used to carry out the method is, as above, equipped with locking elements such as lock latch 1 and pawl 2, with the lock latch 1 in a closed position in which it is in holding engagement with a locking wedge 3 or the like and in an open position in which it releases the locking wedge or the like, can be brought.
- the pawl 2 can be brought into a retracted position, in which it holds the lock latch 1 in a closed position, and into a raised position, in which it releases the lock latch 2.
- the motor vehicle lock is equipped with an electric opening drive 4 for motorized lifting of the pawl 2, with an above lock mechanism 6 for manually lifting the pawl 2 from the outside and from the inside via an outside door handle 7 and an inside door handle 8 is provided and the lock mechanism 6 in the above mechanical lock states can be achieved.

Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
Fig. 1 .
Fig. 1 links herum, zurück.
Fig. 1 dargestellten Steuerungsanordnung 13 wahrgenommen.
Fig. 1 nur angedeutet ist.
