  • the clarinet is one of the family of woodwind instruments. It usually consists of five parts that can be put together: the mouthpiece, the clarinet pear, the top piece, the bottom piece and the funnel. The mating of these five parts usually takes place by means of cork-covered pins and corresponding receptacles for these pins, which have the individual parts at the respective connection points. If all five parts of the clarinet are inserted into one another in such a way that no gaps remain between the individual parts, the passage opening in the interior of the clarinet extends continuously and with a substantially constant inside diameter from the mouthpiece to the clarinet bulb, the top and the bottom to towards the funnel.
