Definitions

  • the invention relates to a commercial dishwasher according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • washing zone 140 A1 is a commercial dishwasher in the form of a conveyor dishwasher known, which has two washing zones and in Spülgut-transport direction after the washing zones at least one rinse zone.
  • the washing zones each contain a washing system with washing nozzles, wherein a washing tank for collecting the washing liquid sprayed in the washing zone in question is provided for each washing zone.
  • the washing liquid sprayed from the washing nozzles present therefrom is recirculated back from the associated washing tank by means of a pump through a washing liquid feed line back to the washing nozzles.
  • the program automates have a single treatment chamber for receiving and treating items to be washed.
  • a dish rack is provided in which the items to be washed can be loaded.
  • the treatment chamber can be closed by a door.
  • the conveyor dishwashers have at least one washing zone and at least one final rinse zone.
  • Hood machines have a treatment zone under a hood arranged to be moved up and down.
  • a programmer is for example from the DE 10 2005 023 429 A1 known.
  • Transport dishwashers are for example from the WO 2006/007236 A2 .
  • WO 2005/070276 EP 1 637 059 A2 and DE 10 2005 035 764 A1 known.
  • Dishware is especially dishes, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, baking utensils and serving trays.
  • a pole-changing electric centrifugal pump is used to promote the washing liquid, which can be switched from a two-pole operation to a four-pole operation, then by such a pole change a speed reduction of the pump motor of 3000 revolutions / min. to 1500 revolutions / min. be achieved.
  • This reduction in the speed causes a change in the water pressure at the pump outlet (pump discharge side).
  • the water pressure is not halved, but it changes from about 1.0 bar at 3000 U / min. to about 0.25 bar at 1500 rpm. Due to this non-proportional change of the washing liquid pressure for glasses and dishes is often too low. More advantageous would be a washing liquid pressure of about 0.5 bar.
  • the liquid pressure acting on the items to be washed depends on the conduit system installed in the dishwasher, for example a washing system and / or a rinse aid system.
  • the problem to be solved is to provide a way by which in a simple manner, alternatively, two different liquid pressures can be generated, each fluid pressure is matched to the different items to be cleaned.
  • the invention generally relates to a commercial dishwasher in which at least two centrifugal pumps connected in series are arranged upstream of at least one washing system and / or a final-rinse system.
  • both pumps have identical pump characteristics.
  • the two pumps have different pump characteristics.
  • an operation is possible only with the upstream of the two pumps in series or with both pumps.
  • operation is possible only with the downstream of the two pumps in series or with both pumps.
  • a soft start and thus a gentle increase in pressure is achieved in that at the start of a wash cycle or a rinse cycle initially only one of the two pumps is turned on and after a predetermined time delay or after a by other criteria specific time delay, the other pump is additionally turned on.
  • two standard pumps can be hydraulically connected in series in series.
  • the invention uses the knowledge that the pressures of two pumps arranged hydraulically one behind the other add up. With two hydraulic centrifugal pumps arranged one behind the other, the pressure is approximately doubled. The volume flow is thereby changed only insignificantly.
  • the head h is given in meters (m).
  • the volume flow Q is given in m 3 / h.
  • P1 denotes the pump characteristic of a pump 1;
  • P2 denotes the pump characteristic of a further pump 2 connected in series with the pump 1;
  • P1 + P2 designates the pump characteristic of the series connection of both pumps 1 and 2.
  • the pump characteristics cross the system characteristic "A", which depends on the respective pipe system of the dishwasher.
  • B1 denotes an operating point of a pump 1;
  • B2 denotes an operating point of the other pump 2; and
  • B3 denotes an operating point of the series connection of the two pumps 1 and 2.
  • the characteristic diagram of Fig. 1 shows from the registered heights h1, h2 and h3, that the increase between each of the individual pump characteristics P1 and P2 and the common characteristic P1 + P2 of the series connection of both pumps 1 and 2 the stronger, the steeper the system characteristic "A" between the Operating points B1, B2 and B3.
  • the volume flow Q On the horizontal axis of the characteristic diagram, it can be seen, for the volume flow Q, that the increase in the volume flow Q1 of one pump or of the volume flow Q2 of the other pump to the volume flow Q3 of the series connection of the two pumps is relatively small.
  • the invention offers the possibility to operate for the low pressure operation only the pump 1 with the pressure P1 and for the high pressure operation, the pump 1 with the pressure P1 and the pump 2 with the pressure P2 at short intervals one behind the other (or simultaneously) to start and then to operate both together.
  • two pumps may be used, one of which has a different power than the other pump or a different pump characteristic than the other pump.
  • the fluid pressure depending on the design of the line system may be higher or lower than when operating alone with the pump. 1
  • the invention advantageously also offers the possibility of achieving three different liquid pressures of washing liquid or final rinse liquid by the combination of only two pumps 1 and 2.
  • Fig. 2 schematically shows a commercial dishwasher in the form of a programmer according to the invention. It contains two in series successively arranged pumps 1 and 2, hereinafter referred to as washing pumps, in a washing liquid flow line 4, which connects the lower end of a wash tank 6 with at least one lower wash arm 8 and an upper wash arm 10 hydraulically.
  • the washing arms 8 and 10 are located in a treatment chamber 12 below or above the Spülgutability Suites and are each provided with spray nozzles 8-2 and 10-2, which are directed against the dishes.
  • a cleaner metering pump 13 For supplying cleaner in the wash tank, a cleaner metering pump 13 may be provided.
  • a pressure switch 14 may be provided.
  • a heater 16 For heating the washing liquid in the washing tank 6, a heater 16 may be provided.
  • a drain line 20 may be connected to a drain pump 22.
  • washing pumps 1 and 2 of Fig. 2 are switched on by a control device 24 by at least one user program individually or in combination according to at least one of the variants described above with reference to the Fig. 1 have been described or defined in the claims.
  • a fresh water supply line 26 is connectable at its upstream start via a solenoid valve 28 with a fresh water supply hose 30.
  • the downstream end of the fresh water supply line 26 is connected to a water inlet device 32, via which fresh water can flow into a water heater 34.
  • a rinse aid supply line for example a rinse aid dosing pump 36 for the supply of rinse aid, is connected to the water heater 34 in the water of the water heater 34.
  • the final rinse liquid of the water heater 34 is passed through a rinse aid 40 to a lower rinse arm 44 and at least one upper rinse arm 46, and through spray nozzles 44-2 and 46-2 respectively formed therein into the processing chamber 12 (FIG. not shown) ware sprayed.
  • the water heater 34 may be provided with an emptying device 48.
  • two rinse pumps can be arranged in series with one another and alternatively switched on according to at least two different variants, as described with reference to FIGS FIGS. 1 and 2 for the washing pumps 1 and 2 have been described.
  • Fig. 3 shows a transport dishwasher according to the invention, which, for example, in the following order, in which items 250 transported by a transport device 252 in the transport direction 254, a prewash zone 262, a first wash zone 264, a second wash zone 266 and a final rinse zone 268 contains.
