  9. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the control device (24; 320) is designed in such a way that all the centrifugal pumps are switched off at the same time.
  10. Dishwasher according to one of Claims 1 to 8, wherein the control device (24; 320) is designed in such a way that the centrifugal pumps are switched off one after the other.
  11. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, wherein all the centrifugal pumps are designed for the same delivery rate.
  12. Dishwasher according to one of Claims 1 to 10, wherein one of the centrifugal pumps has a different delivery rate to at least one of the other centrifugal pumps.
  13. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, wherein all the centrifugal pumps have identical pump characteristic curves.
  14. Dishwasher according to one of Claims 1 to 12, wherein the centrifugal pumps have different pump characteristic curves.
  15. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the dishwasher is a program-controlled dishwasher with a treatment chamber (12) into which the items to be washed can be manually inserted.
  16. Dishwasher according to one of Claims 1 to 14, wherein the dishwasher is a conveyor-type dishwasher comprising at least two treatment zones (262, 264, 266, 268) and a delivery apparatus (252) for automatically transporting items being washed through the treatment zones.
  17. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the treatment region is a wash chamber or a wash zone and the liquid is wash liquid.
  18. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the treatment region (12) is a final rinse chamber or a final rinse zone (268) and the liquid is final rinse liquid.
  19. Method for operating a commercial dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the liquid pressure with which the liquid is sprayed into the treatment chamber for treating the items to be washed is automatically varied by program-controlled actuation of at least two centrifugal pumps which are arranged in series one behind the other.
