Definitions
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock, with a locking mechanism, at least one actuating lever for the locking mechanism and a motor drive for opening the locking mechanism.
- the locking mechanism is mainly composed of a catch and a pawl.
- Such motor vehicle door locks are well known and are used when such a closure is to be opened electrically. Because the motor drive regularly includes an electric motor.
- the described electrical opening is exemplified, but not by way of limitation, by a so-called “Keyless Entry” or “Keyless Go” operation.
- there is an upstream wireless authorization request of an operator willing to enter which, after a positive check, acts on the motor drive to open the locking mechanism so that an associated motor vehicle door can be immediately opened and / or issued. This may be done in addition motor or manually.
- the motor drive in question provides only for an opening of the associated locking mechanism. That is, this is previously obligatory transferred to the unlocked state, if this is not present.
- the motor drive can also be used to initially unlock the motor vehicle door lock and then open the locking mechanism.
- the invention is based on the technical problem of providing a functional, simple and cost-effective solution for a motor vehicle door lock of the generic kind for motorized opening.
- a generic motor vehicle door lock is characterized in that the motor drive via the operating lever directly acts directly on the locking mechanism and in particular the pawl.
- the motor drive can be formed reversing and preferably has a driven pulley with front cam and rear angle limiting element.
- the invention expressly dispenses with additional levers, springs, etc. Rather, it has proven to be sufficient and reliable when the motor drive alone works on the actuating lever, which in turn acts directly on the locking mechanism and here preferably the pawl. Because the solution presented relies on a minimum of required components the manufacturing costs keep particularly low, without dysfunction are to be feared.
- the rotation angle limiting element cooperates with a fixed stop.
- This stationary stop may be fixed to the lock case, lock housing, etc.
- the stop ensures that rotational movements of the motor drive and consequently the driven pulley in the operating and reversing direction are limited.
- the stop provides two stop surfaces, on the one hand for the rotational angle limiting element moving in the actuating direction and on the other hand for the case in which the rotational angle limiting element is moved in the reversing direction.
- the actuating lever is largely formed with two arms with actuating arm and release arm.
- the actuating arm is largely acted upon by the drive, while the release arm works on the locking mechanism and in particular the pawl.
- the actuating lever may additionally have a third arm, the opening arm, on which a mechanical opening device can engage. This third arm of the operating lever thus ensures that, for example, in case of failed motor drive the locking mechanism can be mechanically opened. It is conceivable here that a lock cylinder works with a cam on this third arm.
- the procedure is usually such that the motor drive drives the driven pulley in the actuating direction for opening the locking mechanism acted upon until the rotation angle limiting element bears against the stop in an open position.
- the stopper has two stop surfaces, namely an actuating surface and a reversing surface. In the open position, the rotation angle limiting element bears against the actuating surface of the stop.
- the opening position is maintained until the locking mechanism is securely opened. It is conceivable to query this locking opening via a sensor, for example on the rotary latch, a rotary latch switch or the like. If the fully opened rotary latch triggers the relevant rotary latch switch, a control unit recognizes that the locking mechanism is open and that the open position can be (again) given up. While the motor drive the driven pulley or the actuating lever acted in its direction of actuation to open the locking mechanism and also in the open position, the actuating lever ensures overall that the pawl is lifted from the catch, so that the catch can open spring-assisted. Only when the safe opening of the locking mechanism is present, the control unit sends a command to the motor drive for reversing.
- the motor drive acts upon opening the locking mechanism, the actuating lever in its reserve direction until the previously held by the operating lever pawl is released. Since in this situation, the rotary latch is open, lays down the released pawl the catch and can easily occur in a subsequent (manual) closing the motor vehicle door in the catch when it is transferred in this process by a locking pin in the closed position.
- the opening position of the actuating lever and consequently also the driven pulley can be adjusted and maintained without much effort on the part of the motor drive. Because the operating lever has a spring against which the motor drive must work when opening the locking mechanism. According to the invention, the opposing force built up by this spring now extends radially in the direction of an axis of rotation of the driven pulley, preferably through the cam.
- the motor drive can even be turned off in the open position or its self-locking forces are sufficient, because the cam is acted upon by the counter-force of the spring only radially in the direction of the axis of rotation of the driven pulley and undergoes no lateral forces. Because these side forces are missing, the cam is rotated by the spring on the operating lever in the open position neither in one direction nor in the other direction. In any case, rotations are blocked in the direction of actuation, because in this respect the rotation angle limiting element bears against the actuating surface of the stop.
- a motor vehicle door lock which has a locking mechanism 1, 2 of rotary latch 1 and pawl 2 as usual.
- a motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 for opening the locking mechanism 1, 2.
- the motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 consists of an electric motor 6, a driven pulley 5, arranged on the driven pulley 5 cam or actuating cam 4 and a rotation angle limiting element 7 together.
- the electric motor 6 is able to move the driven pulley 5 in the clockwise direction and counter to it, thus works - as the entire motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 - reversing. This is expressed by a double arrow in FIG.
- the motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 acts directly on the locking mechanism 1, 2 via the actuating lever 3 alone.
- the actuating lever 3 is a total of three arms and has an actuating arm 3a, a trigger arm 3b and finally an opening arm 3c.
- the opening arm 3 c makes it possible, the locking mechanism 1, 2 even with failed motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 to be able to open, for example mechanically via a lock cylinder or a comparable opening means not explicitly shown. However, this is not mandatory, so that the opening arm 3c is an option within the scope of the invention.
- actuating arm 3 a which is acted upon by the drive 4, 5, 6, 7, more precisely by the cam 4.
- trigger arm 3 b which on the ratchet 1, 2, more precisely the pawl 2, is working.
- the driven pulley 5 is equipped on its rear side with the rotation angle limiting element 7.
- This rotation angle limiting element 7 cooperates with a stationary stop 8, which may be fastened in the lock housing 13.
- the fixed stop 8 has two stop surfaces 8a, 8b, namely an actuating surface 8b and a reversing surface 8a.
- the sensor or switch 10 After a certain adjustment reaches a sensor surface 11, the sensor or switch 10 so that it transmits a first signal to the control unit 12, as shown by the rising edge in the lower part of Fig. 5. This is followed by contact of the cam 4 with the actuating arm 3 a of the actuating lever 3.
- the motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 acts on the actuating lever 3 in its actuating direction for opening the locking mechanism 1, 2 (clockwise movement of the driven pulley 5 in front view in FIG. 1) until the rotation angle limiting element 7 abuts the stop 8, more precisely on the actuating surface 8b.
- This state becomes clear in the transition from FIG. 1 to FIG. 2 and further to FIG. 3.
- the sensor surface has 11 ensures that the sensor or switch 10 has received a switch-off pulse corresponding to a second signal.
- the falling edge of the first rectangular pulse in the lower illustration of FIG. 5 has been reached.
- FIG. 3 The opening position of Fig. 3 now corresponds to the fact that the pawl 2 has been lifted from the maximum of the catch 1, so that the catch 1 rotates spring-assisted in its open position. In this case, the open position shown in FIG. 3 is maintained until the catch 1 has safely reached its open position. This is logically then also for the entire locking mechanism 1, 2. This condition is detected by the sensor or micro switch 9, which is a rotary latch switch.
- the control unit 12 Due to the secure opening of the locking mechanism 1, 2, the control unit 12 now ensures that the motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 is acted upon in the reversing direction.
- the reversing direction corresponds to the fact that the cam 4 and consequently the driven pulley 5 carrying it perform a counterclockwise movement in the front view.
- the cam 4 moves away from the actuating arm 3a of the actuating lever 3.
- the motor drive 4, 5, 6, 7 is acted upon in the reversing direction until the pawl 2 previously held by the actuating lever 3 is released.
- the sensor or switch 10 again registers a switch-on process This process corresponds to the rising edge of the second rectangular pulse in the lower representation of FIG. 5.
- the rotation angle limiting element 7 reaches the reversing surface 8a of the stop 8. This is shown in FIG , Previously, the sensor surface 11 has generated a switch-off pulse at the switch 10, which corresponds to the falling edge of the second rectangular pulse.
- the actuating lever 3 in the described process performs the movement shown in the upper view of FIG. 5, with individual selected points and positions are indicated.
- the counterforce built up by the spring F on the actuating lever 3 extends radially in the direction of the axis 5 'of the driven pulley 5. This is indicated by an arrow in the relevant FIG. 3.
- the counterforce also passes through the cam 4. In this way, the open position of FIG. 3 can be particularly low power, because lateral forces are eliminated, which could rotate the driven pulley 5 in one direction or the other.
- FIG. 5 illustrates the movement of the actuating lever 3 in the upper part, while the lower part makes the signals on the sensor 10 clear. Individual exposed times are marked 1 to 7 and are explained below.
- the electric motor 6 starts or goes high, namely until contact between the cam 4 and the actuating lever 3 occurs at the time 1. This is followed by a working stroke, until the time 2 at which the catch 1 has been substantially released.
- the operating lever 3 is also further moved, namely by a certain safety angle, until the position 3 is reached. In this position, the operating lever 3 is held.
- the sensor 10 has sensed the falling edge through the passing sensor surface 11 and, incidentally, the microswitch or rotary latch switch 9 registers that the rotary latch 1 is open.
- the electric motor 6 continues to run until the driven pulley 5 comes with its rotation angle limiting element 7 against the actuating surface 8b of the stop 8 to the plant. This happens at time 5.
- the blockage position of the electric motor 6 can be evaluated and serves as a signal for reversing the operation of the electric motor 6. This happens beginning at time 5 to time 6, wherein the electric motor 6 runs high in this reversing direction within this period. After the end of the sensor surface 11 has passed the sensor or switch 10 and thus the second rising edge has been registered by the sensor 10, the release of the pawl 2 begins at time 6. This release of the pawl 2 extends until time 7 , After registering the falling edge on the part of the sensor 10, the electric motor 6 continues unchanged, and although until the rotation angle limiting element 7 reaches the reversing surface 8a of the stop 8 in the position 8. In this case too, the blocking process can be evaluated in order to reverse the direction of movement of the electric motor 6 (again).
Description
- Hier will die Erfindung insgesamt Abhilfe schaffen.
- Fig. 1 bis 4
