Definitions

  • the invention relates to a particular intended for sharpening a cosmetic pencil sharpener according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the known sharpener comprises a sleeve-like sharpener housing with an open insertion end, through which a pin to be sharpened can be introduced against a peeling device arranged in the sharpener housing.
  • a further sleeve-like housing portion is arranged, which serves as a protective cap for the pin.
  • This further housing portion is open to the side facing away from the sharpener housing side, so that this open end is arranged opposite to the insertion end of the sharpener housing.
  • the holding device is formed as a molded body made of a rubber-elastic material, which is releasably adhering to a pin in the manner of a cap skirt encompassing the cap from a pin end forth.
  • the holding device further carries a retaining projection, which is designed for releasably engaging in the pin guide channel of a sharpener.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an easily realizable and manageable sharpener with integrated cap.
  • the sharpener includes a sharpener housing with a scarfing device received therein.
  • the sharpener housing has an insertion opening arranged substantially concentrically with a pin guide axis of the peeling device for insertion of a pin to be sharpened.
  • the sharpener further includes a protective cap for placement on the pin.
  • the protective cap has an open end and a closed end opposite to a cap axis.
  • the sharpener housing is hingedly connected to the protective cap, so that the protective cap is reversibly pivotable relative to the sharpener housing into a closed position and an open position.
  • the closed position is characterized in that the cap closes the insertion of the sharpener housing.
  • the open position is characterized in that the insertion of the sharpener housing is released by the protective cap.
  • the sharpener according to the invention simultaneously achieves several handling advantages.
  • the actual peeling device of the sharpener and the protective cap are captively secured to one another by the articulated connection. This ensures that during storage of protected with the cap cosmetic pencil or its entrainment in a bag or the like, the actual sharpener is always tangible, but on the other hand, during the sharpening process, the cap can not be lost nor must be kept or stored explicitly.
  • the sharpener housing is closed by the protective cap, so that during storage or optionally during transport of the sharpener no chip waste can fall out of the sharpener housing.
  • the sharpener is easy to handle due to the hinge connection between the sharpener housing and the protective cap, in particular easily adjustable between the open position and the closed position.
  • the sharpener according to the invention is also comparatively easy to produce.
  • the sharpener In a particularly space-saving design of the sharpener is designed such that in the closed position, the cap axis is substantially colinear, that is aligned with the pin guide axis, so that the open end of the cap is facing away from the sharpener housing and the closed end of the cap directly connects to the insertion end of the sharpener housing.
  • the sharpener housing and the protective cap projecting along the pin guide axis or the cap axis have substantially the same cross-sectional shape, so that the sharpener in the closed position has a substantially homogeneous rod-like shape.
  • the sharpener is thus adapted to the male pin in terms of its shape and is thus particularly space-saving stored with the pen.
  • the sharpener housing and the protective cap preferably have a round or polygonal cross-sectional shape.
  • the pivot axis of the articulated connection formed between the sharpener housing and the protective cap is preferably tangential with respect to the pin guide axis and the cap axis aligned. This is understood to mean that the pivot axis is perpendicular with respect to the pin guide axis and cap axis and at a distance therefrom. In particular, the pivot axis essentially touches the circumference of the sharpener housing and the protective cap. Alternatively, the pivot axis can also be aligned radially or parallel with respect to the pin guide axis and the cap axis.
  • the articulated connection between the sharpener housing and the protective cap is designed as a film hinge.
  • the sharpener housing and the protective cap advantageously form part of a comparatively inexpensively producible one-piece injection-molded part, in particular made of plastic.
  • the sharpener expediently comprises at least one closing element, the sharpener housing and protective cap in the closed position releasably holds together.
  • the or each such closing element is preferably formed by a projection which is integrally formed on the protective cap, that it engages in the closed position in the insertion opening of the sharpener housing.
  • the detachable connection between the sharpener housing and the protective cap is produced by a frictional connection in that the or each closing element in the closed position radially acts on the sharpener housing or the peeling device arranged therein.
  • the closing element is designed to produce a latching connection, screw connection or the like between the sharpener housing and the protective cap.
  • the peeling device accommodated in the sharpener housing preferably comprises a sharpener body on which a peeling blade is held inclined with respect to the pin guide axis.
  • the sharpener body is preferably removably inserted into the sharpener housing.
  • the sharpener body can be removed from the sharpener housing or pushed back into it through the insertion opening.
  • At least one approximately radially with respect to the pin guide axis outwardly projecting projection is advantageously provided on an insertion of the sharpener body.
  • the sharpener housing has in the region of the insertion opening to the or each projection on a substantially complementary shaped incision.
  • the or each projection lies substantially precisely in the corresponding recess of the sharpener housing.
  • the or each projection preferably protrudes slightly beyond the outer wall of the sharpener housing and thus forms a handle for withdrawing the sharpener body.
  • a sharpener 1 is shown.
  • the sharpener 1 comprises a sharpener housing 2 with a peeling device 3 received therein for sharpening a cosmetic pencil (not shown in more detail).
  • the sharpener 1 further comprises a protective cap 4 for placement on the cosmetic pencil, in particular on its pen tip.
  • the sharpener housing 2 and the protective cap 4 are connected to each other in an articulated manner via a film hinge 5.
  • the sharpener housing 2 and the protective cap 4 thus form a one-piece component, which is produced in particular as a plastic injection-molded part.
  • the sharpener housing 2 has substantially the shape of a cup with a cylindrical housing wall 6, which at one longitudinal end through a cup bottom forming housing end wall 7 is completed.
  • the housing end wall 7 opposite longitudinal end of the sharpener housing 2 is open and serves as an insertion opening 8 (Fig. 2 and 3) for the cosmetic pencil to be sharpened.
  • a housing longitudinal axis 9 is defined, which coincides with a pin guide axis 9 'of the peeling device 3.
  • the protective cap 4 is also essentially cup-shaped and comprises a cylindrical cap wall 10 with an open end 11 (in particular FIG. 4) and a closed end 13 (in particular FIG. 3) opposite this in the direction of a cap axis 12.
  • the film hinge 5 connects the end face of the sharpener housing 2 carrying the insertion opening 8 with the closed end 13 of the protective cap 4 in such a way that the sharpener housing 2 and the protective cap 4 are pivotable relative to each other about a pivot axis 14 oriented substantially tangentially with respect to the sharpener housing 2 and the protective cap 4 ,
  • the pivot axis 14 thus extends - regardless of the pivot position of the sharpener housing 2 with respect to the cap 4 - always perpendicular and spaced both to the housing longitudinal axis 9 (and the coincident with this pin guide axis 9 ') and to the cap axis 12th
  • a subsequently designated as the closed position 15 first pivot position of the sharpener housing 2 with respect to the protective cap 4 is shown.
  • the closed end 13 of the protective cap 4 directly adjoins the end face of the sharpener housing 2 which carries the insertion opening 8, so that the insertion opening 8 is closed by the protective cap 4.
  • the pin guide axis 9 'and the cap axis 12 are in this case arranged in alignment with each other.
  • the sharpener housing 2 and the protective cap 4 have substantially the same diameter, so that the cap wall 10 is arranged in alignment with the housing wall 6.
  • the sharpener 1 thus essentially has the shape of a simple cylinder rod.
  • the open end 11 of the Protective cap 4 is in this case arranged on a free end of this bar shape, so that the sharpener 1 in the closed position 15 can be attached to a cosmetic pencil.
  • the sharpener 1 During storage and optionally during transport, the sharpener 1 is intended in the closed position 15, so that under these circumstances, on the one hand the sharpener housing 2 with optionally contained therein chip waste is securely closed, but on the other hand, the open end 11 of the cap 4 is accessible.
  • the sharpener 1 For sharpening a cosmetic pencil, the sharpener 1 is intended to be pivoted about the half-open pivot position shown in FIG. 2 into an open position 16 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, in which the sharpener housing 2 and the protective cap 4 are arranged at an angle to each other or even approximately parallel to one another are.
  • the insertion opening 8 of the sharpener housing 2 is released by the protective cap 4, so that the cosmetic pencil to be sharpened can be introduced along the pin guide axis 9 'through the insertion opening 8 into the sharpener housing 2.
  • the sharpener housing 2 and the protective cap 4 of the sharpener 1 are shown in two mutually perpendicular longitudinal sections.
  • the protective cap 4 has a cap interior 17 for partially receiving the cosmetic pencil.
  • the diameter of the cap interior 17 is in this case adapted to the male cosmetic pencil so that it can insert into the protective cap 4 only with the application of a predetermined force or can be removed therefrom. This serves on the one hand the captive safety of the protective cap 4 on the cosmetic stick to be protected.
  • the protective cap 4 is preferably designed such that the inner wall 18 delimiting the cap interior 17 surrounds the circumference of the cosmetic pencil used on all sides under pretension so that the pen tip to be protected is sealed against the outside world.
  • the cap interior 17 is optionally in a region adjacent to the closed end 13 19 conically formed in adaptation to the pen tip of the male cosmetic pencil, so that the protective cap 4 tightly encloses the pen tip of the cosmetic pencil used. In this way, on the one hand, a particularly good mechanical protection for the sensitive pen tip is achieved and, on the other hand, a desiccation of the pen tip is counteracted particularly effectively.
  • the sharpener housing 2 has a housing interior 20.
  • the housing interior 20 is open towards the insertion opening 8 and serves to receive the peeling device 3, which is shown in greater detail in FIGS. 7 to 9.
  • the peeling device 3 which represents the actual pointed aggregate of the sharpener 1, comprises a sharpener body 21, on which a paring knife 22 is fastened.
  • the sharpener body 21 comprises a pin guide sleeve 23 whose bore 24 ( Figure 3) defines a pin guide channel which is filled by the sharpening cosmetic pencil during the sharpening operation and which is centered with respect to the pin guide axis 9 '.
  • the pin guide sleeve 23 includes a knife holder 26 in the axial direction.
  • the knife holder 26 is formed like a wedge (in particular Fig. 8), wherein along the wedge slope, a support surface 27 is formed for the paring knife 22.
  • the paring knife 22 is supported such that a cutting edge 28 of the paring knife 22 cuts approximately at a predetermined angle.
  • the pin guide sleeve 23 On the outer circumference of the pin guide sleeve 23 two diametrically opposed projections 34 are formed, which serve as handles for inserting the peeling device 3 in the sharpener housing 2 and for pulling out the peeling device 3 from the sharpener housing 2.
  • the peeling device 3 is inserted with the knife holder 26 ahead through the insertion opening 8 into the housing interior 20 of the sharpener housing 2.
  • the pin guide sleeve 23 closes off approximately flush with the insertion opening 8, so that the insertion opening 8 of the sharpener housing 2 coincides with an insertion opening 8 'of the bore 24.
  • Each projection 34 lies in a corresponding recess 35 (FIGS. 2, 5 and 6) which is introduced into the housing wall 6 in an area adjacent to the insertion opening 8.
  • the projections 34 preferably protrude slightly beyond the outer circumference of the sharpener housing 2, so that they are easily accessible for pulling out the peeling device 3.
  • the removal of the peeling device 3 from the sharpener housing 2 is in particular for Elimination of chip wastes and remains of mines from the sharpener housing 2 provided.
  • each closing element 36 forms a projecting from the closed end 23 in the direction of the cap axis 12 projection of approximately niksegmentförmigenm cross section.
  • the four closing elements 36 thus form together about a cross-slotted ring.
  • the closing elements 36 are in this case positioned so that they can be used when closing the sharpener 1 under a predetermined closing pressure in the bore 24 of the pin guide sleeve 23.
  • the closing elements 36 In the closed position, the closing elements 36 thus engage in the insertion opening 8 of the pin housing 2, wherein they act on the pin guide sleeve 23 of the peeling device 3 radially and thus oppose the opening of the sharpener 1, a holding force.
  • the closing elements 36 are chamfered or rounded at their outer edge in order to avoid tilting of the closing elements 36 with the guide sleeve 23.
  • the sharpener 1 further comprises a cleaning rod 37.
  • the cleaning rod is preferably integrally formed on the cap 4 so that it protrudes beyond the closed end 13, and thus in the open position 16 of the cap 4 with respect to the sharpener housing 2 protrudes freely, while it the closed position 15 abuts the outer circumference of the sharpener housing 2.
  • the cleaning rod 37 may alternatively be integrally formed on the spray housing 2 or be pluggable attached to the protective cap 4 or the spray housing 2.
  • the sharpener 1 further optionally includes a mortar former (not shown) for rounding off the pen nib during the sharpening operation, as commonly found in cosmetic sharpeners.
