Schließlich ist der Spitzer infolge der Gelenkverbindung zwischen dem Spitzergehäuse und der Schutzkappe einfach handhabbar, insbesondere einfach zwischen der Öffnungsstellung und der Schließstellung verstellbar. Claims (11)
- Sharpener (1) with a sharpener housing (2) which accommodates a paring device (3) for a pencil to be sharpened and has an insertion opening (8) for the pencil arranged essentially concentrically with a pencil guide axis (9') of the paring device (3), and also with a protective cap (4) which is intended for putting onto the pencil and has an open end (11) and a closed end (13) lying opposite along a cap axis (12), characterized in that the sharpener housing (2) is connected to the protective cap (4) in an articulated manner in such a way that the protective cap (4) can be pivoted relative to the sharpener housing (2) into a closed position, in which the protective cap (4) closes the insertion opening (8) of the sharpener housing (2), and also into an open position (16), in which the insertion opening (8) of the sharpener housing (2) is freed for insertion of the pencil.
- Sharpener (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cap axis (12) is in the closed position (15) arranged essentially collinearly with the pencil guide axis (9'), the open end of the protective cap (4) facing away from the sharpener housing (2).
- Sharpener (1) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the sharpener housing (2) and the protective cap (4) have essentially the same cross-sectional shape in projection along the pencil guide axis (9') or the cap axis (12).
- Sharpener (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the sharpener housing (2) and the protective cap (4) are pivotable in relation to one another about a pivoting axis (14) oriented tangentially relative to the pencil guide axis (9') and the cap axis (12).
- Sharpener (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the sharpener housing (2) and the protective cap (4) are interconnected in an articulated manner by means of a film hinge (5).
- Sharpener (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized by at least one closing element (36) which is designed to fix the sharpener housing (2) and the protective cap (4) releasably to one another in the closed position (15).
- Sharpener (1) according to Claim 6, characterized in that the or each closing element (36) is formed by a projection (34) which is formed on the closed end of the protective cap (4) in such a way that it engages in the insertion opening (8) of the sharpener housing (2) in the closed position (15) forming a frictional connection acting radially relative to the pencil guide axis (9').
- Sharpener (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the paring device (3) comprises a sharpener body (21) which is inserted removably into the sharpener housing (2) and on which a paring blade (22) is held in a position set at an angle relative to the pencil guide axis (9').
- Sharpener (1) according to Claim 8, characterized in that the sharpener body (21) can be removed from the sharpener housing through the insertion opening (8).
- Sharpener (1) according to Claim 9, characterized in that the sharpener body (21) has at least one projection (34) which protrudes outwards approximately radially relative to the pencil guide axis (9') and lies in an essentially complementarily shaped indentation (35) of the sharpener housing (2).
- Sharpener (1) according to one of Claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the paring blade (22) has a blade width which tapers in the direction of the pencil guide sleeve (23).
