Definitions
- the invention relates to a rope according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- Ropes and especially wire ropes come in different Versions as stranded or spiral ropes used.
- Stranded ropes are used as conveyor and pull ropes for trains, as crane and elevator ropes and to others Used for purposes. They are also used as winch ropes Winches for example on snow groomers, helicopters, Ships, ATVs and the like are used.
- Stranded ropes consist of a helix around an insert (Soul) strands stranded in turn by wires are formed.
- Spiral ropes come in different Versions (open, semi-closed or fully closed) as support, guide, tension or Guy ropes for aerial cableways, in rope structures, as Architectural ropes and used for other purposes.
- Spiral ropes consist of helically twisted Wires around an insert, usually a heart wire (soul), are beaten. Wire ropes made from drawn steel wires are comparable due to their high breaking load smaller cross-sections of particular importance. On Wire rope of this type is, for example, in the document EP-A-685592.
- Ropes have the disadvantage that they are bad in terrain what is visible without sufficient marking Can lead to accidents.
- a light-emitting rope is from, for example Document JP-A-1200388 known.
- a glow effect will therefore with a light-emitting area phosphorescent pigments and another light-emitting area with reflective structure at least on the outer surface of the Rope main body generated.
- a rope with the function of a slip and pull rope a light function is for example from the document CH-A-674967. Doing so are in the threads of the rope reflective or self-luminous substances Finishing introduced.
- the present invention has the object to create a rope, the use of which Need a separate mark or from ambient light which is at least temporarily absent.
- the rope according to the invention with a luminous element according to claim 1 is clearly visible in the terrain without an additional marker or an additional external Light source, such as sunlight or ambient light, for the Excitation of a phosphor is necessary. This can an existing due to poor visibility of the rope The risk of accidents can be largely eliminated.
- wire ropes can but not just to improve visibility (Security aspect) contribute, but also to be used for aesthetic purposes.
- Wire ropes are an important one for architects, for example Construction element - as suspension cables for buildings, for bracing roofs, as railings and too many other purposes.
- Fig. 1 shows a wire rope rope designed Wire rope 1, which is a plurality of helical struck wire strands 2, 2 ', 2' '.
- at least one is at least one partially over the length of the rope, with the Wire strands 2, 2 ', 2' 'struck on the surface of the wire strand rope 1 clearly visible Luminous element 6, for example an electro-luminescent Cable 6 'provided.
- Such cables are for example from the publications EP-A-1146778 or WO-A-0248605 known.
- This wire strand rope 1 can be compared to one conventional rope in a simple manner be made more visible. This will relate to Security achieved significant improvements.
- this shows Wire strand rope 1 five wire strands 2, 2 ', 2' 'on the circular around you in the longitudinal direction of the rope extending core 4 (also called soul) are arranged.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 2 is a core made of plastic 4.
- the filament element 6 in the position a sixth strand 5 arranged with the wire strands 2, 2 ', 2' 'is struck.
- the wire strands 2, 2 ', 2' 'and the luminous element 6 have approximately the same size Outside diameter and are even around the core 4 arranged.
- the one that creates a glow effect Luminous element 6, is an electro-luminescent Cable 6 '.
- FIG. 2 shows a further embodiment of a wire strand rope according to the invention.
- a filament element 8 is arranged on the wire strand cable 1 and is guided in a space which lies between the theoretical rope circumference U S and the periphery of adjacent wire strands 7, 9.
- the filament element 6 could also be replaced by a wire strand corresponding to the strands 2, 2 ', 2''. This makes it possible to arrange lighting elements without reducing the load-bearing capacity of the rope.
- Fig. 3 shows another in cross section Embodiment of a possible wire strand rope with a steel core 14 with nine around the steel core 14 circularly arranged inner wire strands 13 and with seven outer strands 12 ', 12' 'arranged on the rope circumference, 12 '' 'and two filament elements 15 in the Positions of two outer strands.
- the filament elements 15 are again between two in the circumferential direction of the rope successive wire strands 12 ', 12' 'struck, the two filament elements 15 essentially are arranged opposite each other.
- Wire ropes with a different number, design and Arrangement of conventional wire strands and the Luminous element elements producing the lighting effect on the Positions of strands and / or wires are quite possible.
- wire ropes that are not large Have to absorb loads, but rather too aesthetic or could be used for safety purposes also for example two or more filament elements in positions between two consecutive Wire strands may be provided.
- This version can be used Example as a handrail in tunnels or on railings in Stairwells are used.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 Another possible variant of a wire rope 10 according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5.
- This wire rope 10 which in turn is designed as a wire strand rope, contains six wire strands 22, each of which comprises nine outer strand wires 23 of the same diameter and a further ten inner strand wires.
- the wire strands 22 are arranged helically around a core 24 (eg made of an elastomer) extending in the longitudinal direction of the rope, in this embodiment profile-shaped inserts 25 being present between the individual wire strands 22.
- Each insert 25 has a head part 25k projecting up to the theoretical circumference U S of the rope, a foot part 25f lying against the core 24 and a middle part 25m lying in between.
- the middle part 25m is provided with two concave curvatures 26, the radius of which corresponds almost to the circumferential radius U L of the wire strands 22.
- Other designs with differently shaped parts of the inserts, both in size and shape, are also possible.
- the wire strands 22 abutting the curvatures 26 are held in position by the inserts 25 from one another and from the core 24; with a special design of the foot parts 25f, the core 24 can even be omitted.
- Such a wire rope is known for example from document EP-A-685592.
- At least one of these is the position of the wire strands 22 defining inserts 25 as a Luminous element 25 '' 'formed.
- a Luminous element 25 '' 'formed In particular comprises the luminous element 25 '' 'at least that on the Surface of the rope 10 visible headboard 25k. It can also several or all deposits 25 as Filament elements 25 '' 'may be formed.
- filament elements in the inlays can also, as shown in Fig. 5, by running a wire-shaped filament element 25 '' in the insert 25 'take place.
- the filament element implemented as an electro-luminescent cable 6 '.
- Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 show a formed as a spiral rope Wire rope 60, in which a plurality of wire layers 62, 63 helically around a core wire 67 or one Core strands are stranded.
- Each wire layer 62, 63 is made each from a number of individual wires 64, 65 (Round wires, shaped wires such as round and / or I-wires or Z-wires).
- the Rope length extending, with the outer wires 61 stranded on the surface of the wire rope 60 visible and creating a glow effect Luminous element 66, which, for example, as an electroluminescent Cable 6 'is provided. It is like the other outer wires in the present Embodiment, Z-shaped. Naturally can also be a plurality of filament elements 66 with the Outside wires 61 be stranded.
