Definitions
- the invention relates to a yarn splicing apparatus according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- Thread splicing devices for pneumatically connecting two Yarn ends have been associated with automatic winder since long known and in numerous patent applications described in CH-A-439 168.
- DE 39 35 536 C2 describes, for example, a yarn splicing device, with a splice head, the splice has an approximately circular cross-section.
- the splice channel open tangential compressed air injection openings.
- the splice channel also has on its upper side a continuous slot through which the thread ends to be spliced can be threaded. This Fadeneinlegeschlitz can be closed during the splicing process by a cover element.
- Thread splicing devices whose splice channel by a pivotally mounted lid member is closed, show the disadvantage that such facilities often relatively bulky are, that is, need such thread splicing devices a relatively large installation space.
- the embodiment according to the invention has the particular advantage that such a device is designed to be extremely compact, on the one hand, in terms of its structural design, and, on the other hand, that the thread ends to be spliced can be positioned without difficulty in the region of the splice channel. That is, by the use of two rotatably mounted prism parts, it is possible in a simple manner, to securely position the thread ends presented by a suction nozzle or a gripper tube within the splice channel and to fix it there for the splicing process.
- At least one of the Primenmaschine having a compressed air injection opening.
- a compressed-air injection opening enables the targeted injection of splicing air into the splicing channel formed by the pellets, the prism portion, which has no compressed-air injection opening, acting as a cover element.
- an air distribution channel is incorporated in the prism portion. From this air distribution channel branch off, preferably two compressed air injection openings, which open into the splice channel. Splicing air can be injected into the splice channel via the air distribution channel and the compressed air injection openings. This splicing air ensures mutual turbulence of the thread ends positioned in the splicing channel, previously largely freed from their spinning rotation. That is, with the embodiment described in claim 3 can be made safe and durable thread connections.
- the compressed air injection openings each open tangentially into the splice channel (claim 4).
- the tangential arrangement of the injection openings ensures that an at least partially rotating air flow arises within the splicing channel.
- the two Prismener are identical and each have at least one compressed air injection opening.
- the prism parts in a preferred embodiment each consist of an approximately cylindrical prism body and a detachable, rear cover element.
- the prism body are designed so that in the thread receiving position between the prism bodies sufficient space for inserting the thread ends to be spliced is present. In the splice position, the prism bodies abut each other on the opposite prism body such that a largely closed splice channel is formed between the prism bodies.
- the fixable on the prism parts rear cover elements each have a convexly rounded sealing surface, in which an air connection bore is incorporated.
- This convexly rounded sealing surface of the cover elements corresponds in each case to a correspondingly concavely curved sealing surface of a stationary, pressurizable connecting means. That is, the connection means is connected via a pneumatic line, in which, for example, a solenoid valve is turned on, with a compressed air source, so that targeted by splitting the solenoid valve splicing air can be injected into the splice.
- the opening duration of the solenoid valve the effect of the splicing air can be individually adapted to the particular material or the strength of the yarn ends to be spliced.
- the Prismener are limited pivotally mounted in a main body of the yarn splicing device.
- the drive of the Prismenmaschine takes place advantageously via a controllable by the workstation computer drive, such as a stepper motor.
- a stepper motor Such stepper motors are commercially available, low cost, high volume components that have been tried and tested in a variety of applications and have proven durable and reliable.
- FIG 1 in front view schematically a generally designated by the reference numeral 1 cross-winding textile machine producing, in the embodiment, a cross-winding machine, shown.
- Such automatic packages usually have between their (not shown) Endgestellen a variety of similar jobs, in this case winding units 2, on.
- the spinning cops 9 produced on a ring spinning machine are rewound into large-volume cheeses 15. After their completion, these cheeses 15 are transferred by means of an automatically operating service unit, preferably a (not shown) cheese change on a machine-length cheese package transport means 21 and transported to a machine end side Spulenverladestation or the like.
- an automatically operating service unit preferably a (not shown) cheese change on a machine-length cheese package transport means 21 and transported to a machine end side Spulenverladestation or the like.
- Such spooling machines 1 also have a logistics device in the form of a spool and sleeve transport system 3.
- a logistics device in the form of a spool and sleeve transport system 3.
- this bobbin and tube transport system 3 run on transport plates 8, the spinning cops 9 or empty tubes to.
- the Kopszu slaughterhouse 4 the reversibly driven storage section 5, one of the leading to the winding units 2 transverse transport sections 6 and the sleeve return path 7 are shown in Figure 1.
- the delivered spinning cops 9 are rewound in the Abspul einen AS, which are each located in the region of the transverse transport lines 6 at the winding units 2, to large-volume cheeses 15.
- the individual winding units have for this purpose, as known and therefore only hinted at various facilities that ensure proper operation of these jobs.
- These devices are, for example, a suction nozzle 12, a gripper tube 25 and a yarn splicing device 10.
- the yarn splicing device 10 is preferably designed as a pneumatic splicer.
- Such winding units 2 also have more, not detailed devices, such as a thread tensioner, a thread cleaner, a waxing device, a Thread cutter, a yarn tension sensor and a Bobbin thread sensor.
- a thread tensioner such as a thread tensioner, a thread cleaner, a waxing device, a Thread cutter, a yarn tension sensor and a Bobbin thread sensor.
- Such a cross-winding machine has 1 usually via a (not shown) Central control unit via a machine bus with both the separate workstation computers 29 of the individual Spooling 2 as well as with a control device of the Service units is connected.
- Winding devices 24 The winding of the cheeses 15 takes place on so-called Winding devices 24. These winding devices 24 have inter alia, via a coil frame 45, which is around a Pivot axis 13 is movably mounted and a device for rotatably supporting the cheese coil. While the winding process is freely rotatable in the coil frame mounted cheeses 15 with their surface on one driven grooved drum 14 and is about this Friction entrained.
- each has Job 2 via a suction nozzle 12 and a Gripper tube 25.
