Definitions
- the invention relates to a bed with an adjustable Lying surface consisting of a frame with cross bars and foldable Longitudinal spars and from at least one on the longitudinal spars clamped textile structure, especially of elastic Threads.
- the present invention has for its object a bed of the type mentioned the covering frame to train so that an easy stop for the edges of the textile structure that forms the lying surface and a way is given to this textile structure in different sections to different degrees.
- the beginning of a bed is mentioned type provided that the longitudinal spars and preferably also the cross bars made of profile strips with a curved Top consist of the textile structure is overlapped that the curvature of the top to the inside of the frame falls off and only in the outer area of the frame Support surfaces are formed for the textile structure, the Edge in grooves on the outside of the profile strips introduced and held there.
- this configuration makes it possible, very much to form stable longitudinal spars or transverse spars, which in particular are necessary if the textile structure with elastic Threads is provided and with the exercise of considerable restoring forces between the parallel longitudinal spars and crossbars is clamped.
- the new design offers but also the advantage that the elastic contact surface because of the contact surfaces provided in the outer area of the frame takes up almost the full frame area, so that a very large lying area is reached. Thanks to the new design also arises because there is no frame on the surface recognize and the textile structure over the surface of the Frame is drawn, a very aesthetic impression. Finally the clamping process is also possible in a simple manner, even if the textile structure in sections along the length the longitudinal spars can be stretched to different degrees should.
- the receiving grooves are as possible a short distance from the level of the bed surface and it is envisaged that the hinge axes for the The longitudinal spars kink in one through the middle of the grooves horizontal plane.
- the articulated axes lie completely for the lying surface close to the level of the lying area itself, so without the arrangement of recesses in the textile structure in the joint area a continuous covering of the frame, so also in the area of the articulation points.
- kinking the Lying surface between the back and middle section up to 90 ° can be buckled occurs due to the chosen design no unsightly compression of the textile structure, the longer use also to damage the same could lead.
- the kinks can are formed by rod ends, each in alignment to the longitudinal spars held in these, assigned to one another in pairs and on their surface the profile contour of the longitudinal spars are adjusted, being for that between the central surface and the back hinge located one each wedge-shaped to the swivel axis and the swivel movement enabling recess at the top and for one between the foot section and the middle section in the bent joint Condition such a downward wedge-shaped Gap is provided.
- the receiving groove as a slot into which the edge of the textile structure is pinched.
- the slot can from two adjacent and screwable Share be formed.
- the receiving groove is adapted to the cross section of a rod is around which the textile structure is loosely turned over and after Insert is jammed in the receiving groove.
- This can Pole can be divided into sections, each in the areas between the rod ends.
- At least the Longitudinal bars consist of a hollow profile with a curved top, that merges into the receiving groove on the outside.
- This hollow profile can be made from a drawn metal or plastic profile be made. But it is also possible to use the hollow profile to produce from a correspondingly bent sheet metal strip, by the weight of the without loss of stability new bed and the manufacturing costs reduced can be.
- the textile structure at the corners of the support frame recessed and only on the perpendicular to each other Parts of the cross and longitudinal spars is attached.
- This recessed Corner area can be easily from a corner panel be covered, attached to the longitudinal and transverse bars so that an appealing exterior of the new bed, that can be used instead of conventional bed frames should be achieved.
- a bed which consists of a Base 1 provided base frame 2 with longitudinal spars 2a and Cross bars 13 and from a frame forming a bed surface 3, which is in the embodiment with an elastic Knitted fabric 4 is covered.
- the frame 3 consists of two foldable designed longitudinal spars 5, which are spaced by transverse spars 6 are held.
- the longitudinal spars 5 enable the lying surface in a manner known per se divide the bed into several sections, the under certain angles can be inclined to each other, like that Fig. 1 represents.
- the longitudinal bars 5 can also be in bring a stretched position so that the bed has a flat lying surface having.
- the longitudinal spars are adjusted in the exemplary embodiment in a known manner via an electric drive that is not is shown in detail.
- This knitted fabric can be stretched bidirectionally, and it gets at least in the cross direction between the two longitudinal spars 5 in the prestressed state in the frame 3 used, as that in detail in the earlier application 198 07 741.6 is described.
- the knitted fabric can also be used in the Longitudinal direction between the cross bars 6 are braced therefore received the same training as the longitudinal bars 5 to have.
- the longitudinal bars 5 are, as can also be seen from FIG. 2, except by the two cross bars provided at their ends 6 also in the area of their two joint axes 9 and 10 with additional cross struts. So is in Area of the hinge axis 9, which, like the hinge axis 10 is not formed by a continuous axis, but only in the area of the longitudinal spars 5 with joint arrangements 25 is provided, which will be explained later, a linkage provided on the base frame, while in the area of the hinge axis 10 an additional cross stiffening bracket 12 is provided is. In this way, a stable support frame is formed which is suitable, the elastic knitted fabric used 4 to keep under a predetermined tension.
- Fig. 2 shows that the longitudinal spars 5, the significant transverse forces are exposed, and also the cross bars 6 from one drawn hollow profile 27 exist, each one to the interior of the frame sloping curved surface 27a, which in the area of its outer edge a support surface 27b for the textile structure 4 forms.
- This bearing surface 27b goes into an outwardly sloping curvature and then into a receiving groove 28 over that for clamping the elastic knitted fabric 4 serves.
- the receiving groove 28 expands within of the hollow profile 27 to a chamber 29 circular Cross section, which is adapted to the cross section of a round rod 30 is in such a way that this round rod 30 with the around them looped around edge 4a of the knitted fabric 4 in the of the Chamber 29 formed groove can be inserted axially.
- FIG. 3 shows, by the formation of on the outside of the longitudinal bar 5 lying receiving groove 28 with the chamber 29 created a clamping edge 31 against which the around the rod 30th folded edge 4a is pulled and jammed because that Knitted fabric 4 of a tensile force in the direction of arrow 32 (FIG. 2) is exposed.
- Fig. 2 also shows that the cross stiffening bracket 12 firmly and stably attached to the longitudinal spar 5 and by a Screwing, not shown, via a tab 33 with this Longitudinal beam 5 can be screwed.
- Fig. 2 also shows that the receiving grooves 28 and their chambers 29 as close as possible to that of the textile structure 4 formed level of the lying surface are arranged so that one through the middle of the chambers 29 of the receiving grooves 28 placed horizontal plane 49 at a distance from this lying surface is arranged.
- the hinge axes 9 (or 10) each run in this horizontal plane 49.
- the joint axes are therefore very close the lying surface, which has the advantage that the articulation points spanning textile structure when the Longitudinal bars and therefore when the lying surface is adjusted as shown in Fig. 1, no large changes in length in Direction of the axis of the longitudinal spars 5 is subjected.
- This Length changes can therefore be made from the elastic textile Structure 4 are included, without there being an unsightly and sets wrinkles leading to wear.
- the textile structure 4 must therefore at the joints - like otherwise usual - not to be provided with recesses.
- Fig. 4 makes it clear that the joint 25 on the longitudinal spars 5 out of two at each end in the open longitudinal spars inserted rod ends 34 and 35, each provided with ribs 36 projecting to the side and with this inserted into the open cavity 37 of the hollow profile 27 are.
- the joint head 34 has a joint plate 38 with a bore running along the hinge axis 9 39, which has a bore 40 in a joint plate 41 of the joint head 35 is aligned so that through the two holes 39 and 40 a bolt 42 extending in the axis 9 is slidable.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 show that both rod ends 34 and 35 are provided with surfaces 34a and 35a, respectively the contour of the top 27a of the hollow profile 27 corresponds.
- the joint 25 shown in Figs. 4 to 8 is is at the top of these contiguous Surfaces 34a and 35a are wedge-shaped to the hinge axis 9 tapering recess 50 is provided, each by sloping surfaces 43 and 44 is formed by the tops 34a and 35a each as flat surfaces to the hinge axis 9 run away.
- This configuration makes it possible the longitudinal spars on the joints 25 at an angle up to Open up 90 ° from the horizontal plane.
- the for the hinge axis 10 provided between the middle part and foot part Rod ends are similarly designed and also have a top adapted to the contour of the hollow profiles 27 on.
- these Rod ends a pivoting of the middle part and foot part around allow an angle up to 90 ° down, which in detail is not explained, but leads to a wedge-shaped gap similar to the recess 50 at the top the corresponding rod ends forms when the middle part opposite the foot part, as shown in Fig. 1, down is pivoted.
- the wedge-shaped gap between the tops of the rod ends in the respectively assigned position of the lying surface so small that no disadvantages for the contact surface in the area of the joint axes 9 and 10 arise.
- the elastic knitted fabric can expand or contract accordingly to the necessary To create compensation. An upset or wrinkle omitted.
- FIG. 9 to 11 show the formation of a corner 45 of the Lying beds according to Fig. 1. It can be seen that a corner panel 46 in the area between the other firmly together connected longitudinal bars 5 and 6 cross bars is. In this area, the knitted fabric 4 is approximately quarter-circular, running along the dashed line 47 Make a recess if there is a sharp corner edge between longitudinal bars 5 and 6 cross bars should.
- This recessed area of the knitted fabric 4 is from a cap-shaped upper side 46a of the corner covering 46 covers that firmly in a manner not shown the longitudinal and transverse spars 5 and 6 are connected. Is conceivable it is of course also to design this corner covering 46 in such a way that they for the stable connection of longitudinal spars 5 and transverse spars 6 can serve. But it is also possible to use these longitudinal spars 5 and the cross bars 6 by a transverse to them To connect stiffening.
- the longitudinal spars 5th and the cross bars 6, indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 10 can consist of a folded sheet metal strip 48, the also with a similar to the surface 27a of the drawn Profile 27 provided curved surface 48a and with a equipped on its outside receiving groove 28 equipped may be that in the chamber 29 for receiving the rod 30th passes with the knitted fabric 4. Also in this The same applies to the clamping and function Requirements as already explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3 have been.
- the manufacture of the longitudinal and transverse spars from a folded sheet steel strip reduces that Weight of the bed and its manufacturing costs.
- Knitted fabric 4 was provided to form the lying surface, that can be tensioned bidirectionally and therefore how also mentioned, crucial for the bed surface of a bed Has advantages.
- the invention can also be use when a different type of textile structure, for example a fabric covering without elastic threads is provided is. It is crucial for the clamping in the grooves, that the textile structure under one certain bias is maintained, which is then necessary Jamming in the chambers 29 provides.
- the embodiment shown with its edge 4a not one To put rod 30 and then clamp it in a groove, but the receiving groove 28 as a clamping slot with essentially Form parallel walls, in which then the edge 4a introduced and for example by screwing two, the jaws forming the clamping slot is clamped.
- the one shown Embodiment has advantages in particular if, as mentioned at the beginning, the textile structure with elastic threads is provided and in different sections stretched to different extents over the length of the longitudinal spars shall be.
