Definitions
- the invention relates to a box-like housing for a Handgun, with a trajectory for a breech and an opening adjacent to this path of movement Passage of a permanently or temporarily effective link between a loading lever or cocking slide and the closure, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention also relates to a handgun according to the Preamble of claim 8. It is pointed out here that under a "handgun” also machine guns, Self-loading grenade launcher, combined weapons (two structural summarized self-loading systems for firing different cartridges) or the like.
- Known housings have a longitudinal slot, for example behind the ejection window on the right and adjacent to it, before the closure on the top, on the left Longitudinal side, etc.
- the length of the longitudinal slot insofar as it does not go into the ejection window, is usually at least double the cartridge, but in some cases it is considerably longer.
- this is a longitudinal slot often extended to the open rear end of the case, to allow the weapon to be assembled when, for example the loading lever is firmly connected to the lock is.
- the housing has in addition to the ejection window and the above Longitudinal slot also other, in the longitudinal direction openings on the housing: this is what it is about the opening for the magazine and the opening (s), through which the trigger device cooperates with the closure.
- the latter opening is usually also for open rear end of the housing.
- each Ejection window can in the usual way with a Cover or a flap are covered, such as e.g. already used the assault rifle 44.
- a hare-like housing for a self-loading handgun with a movement path for a breech and an opening adjacent to this movement path for the passage of a permanently or temporarily effective connecting link between a loading lever or cocking slide and the breech, the housing being offset to form a transverse wall in which the opening is formed.
- EP-A-0 260 239 discloses a handgun with an opening formed in the rear wall.
- the invention has for its object the described box-like Housing for a self-loading handgun in this regard improve that its rigidity is crucial is increased.
- the invention is also based on the object of a handgun to create with a box-like housing that is light but resistant.
- the conventional box-shaped housing usually has no cross wall. Paragraphs are avoided if possible, because they encourage the weapon to be caught with branches or the like. Only the front wall of the magazine shaft could be used address as a transverse wall. In the area of the trajectory is however, the outside of the case is as smooth and steady as trained only possible.
- the transverse wall of the housing according to the invention thus has forwards or backwards, so that the opening is forced a slightly larger cross section than the connecting link has to show that it is in the direction of Closing movement, that is perpendicular to the plane of the opening and also moved forward and backward.
- This opening must not over the entire length of the trajectory extend, but only over the significantly smaller route, which is essentially the diameter of the link equivalent.
- the fit or the annular gap between the opening and the The scope of the connecting link can be chosen so closely that no sand or the like penetrate into the interior of the housing can.
- the opening can be almost the same size as the transverse wall have, so that in this case the transverse wall ultimately only forms a border around the opening.
- one transverse wall can be used, for example to the side of the trajectory near its rear end be arranged at the end of a tunnel-like longitudinal housing section, the movement path surrounds the link inside the housing.
- the transverse wall on the front is particularly advantageous End of the trajectory arranged (claim 2).
- the connector is just as straight, in Longitudinally extending rod formed.
- the pole is attached with its rear end to the closure, extends through the opening at the end of the trajectory and carries the loading lever or the like at the front is the opening of a weapon with the bottom attached Magazine and side sleeve ejection over the barrel of this Weapon.
- a weapon such as one Gun with belt feeder, but can be a different arrangement the transverse wall and the opening are chosen so that the Reloading and ejection process through the connecting link is not disturbed.
- the transverse wall and the Opening over the barrel also has the advantage that the area over the barrel in all usage situations the weapon usually remains free. So it is possible to choose an arrangement in which the connecting link always firmly with the lock and with the loading lever or the like. is connected so that the link and the Loading lever when loading the lock with this move together; the loading lever can do so be folded down that he does not during normal operation protruding parts. However, it can if necessary also be advantageous to decouple the loading lever from the closure to train so that it remains stationary in its position, when the breech moves when fired.
- the transverse wall need not be flat. she does not need to be exactly vertical in the area of the opening to extend to the trajectory of the closure. This vertical extension of at least that area of the Transverse wall to the path of movement, which has the opening however preferred (claim 3) to make the opening so small as possible to keep and seal the interior of the housing at the gap between the edge of the opening and the circumference to enable the link as effectively as possible.
- the connecting link at least along the range that is in moves the opening back and forth has a peripheral surface, which by moving a straight line in parallel as Generative can be described.
- central arrangement of the opening has the particular advantage that the connecting link also extends centrally and thus when adapting the weapon to a right or left-handed shooter can remain in its position. But it is the same possible, each with a transverse wall with an opening at the side to arrange on the trajectory (claim 4), so that when fitting the weapon to a right or left-handed shooter the link through the opening provided is passed through while the other with a stopper, a plate or the like is closed.
- Such a housing according to the invention is the one Opening or, if necessary, two openings in its rigidity so little impaired that there are two opposite each other Can have ejection openings (claim 5), one each for a lawyer and one is set up for a left-handed shooter.
- the each unused opening remains closed, for example by a stopper, but preferably one that can be swiveled Cover. Only the discharge opening used in each case can closing lid from the inside through the closure unlocked if necessary and by a spring be opened.
- the box-like housing according to the invention is, even if it has two ejection openings, in terms of shape so stiff that instead of steel she also made of plastic or can be made of reinforced plastic.
- the lower weight is advantageous compared to a sheet metal housing; in addition, e.g. by Injection molding maximum dimensional accuracy can be achieved without post-processing (Claim 6).
- the invention relates not only to the housing mentioned, but also also a handgun constructed with such a housing (Claim 8), which is special due to its shape has a rigid housing, which is therefore made of thin Sheet metal or plastic can be formed without the performance characteristics of the weapon suffer.
- the handgun according to the invention can have two opposite Ejection windows are provided to choose from to be set up for right or left-handed shooters without that therefore fell below the required strength of the housing would.
- the weapon according to the invention can be a housing have made of plastic or reinforced plastic.
- a housing 1 shown is made of plastic by injection molding manufactured. On particularly stressed sections of the Housing 1 can sheet steel parts embedded in the plastic be approximately along the path of motion 9.
- the front part of the housing 1 consists of a square tube and serves to record a run and if necessary of the associated gas piston.
- This front part opens integrally in a box-shaped rear part, the under Formation of a paragraph 3 protrudes above the front part and extended down through a magazine shaft is.
- the housing 1 encloses a receiving space for a fume cupboard.
- the rear section on a lower, inner wall that ensures that the rear part of the housing 1 forms a closed hollow profile that only by the lower opening for the cartridge feed and through both sides one ejection opening 13 is interrupted.
- the box-like housing 1 is open towards the front and rear.
- the paragraph 3 is formed by a transverse wall 5, which is perpendicular arranged to the direction of the guideway 9 and from an opening 7 is penetrated.
- this opening 7 in the form of a regular trapezoid, in which the larger base is at the bottom.
- the opening 7 almost reaches the size of the transverse wall 5, so that only one The frame or web remains, which is from the bottom apart from extending around the opening 7.
- a groove is formed on both sides.
- the grooves run parallel to each other and form a guide 15 which is parallel extends to the trajectory 9.
- This guide 15 goes from the bottom of the opening 7 and extends Forward.
- the guide 15 is designed to be a loading lever arrangement (not shown) to move longitudinally, the with the closure via a connecting link (not shown) is connected, with little play to the peripheral edge the opening 7 movable through this extends.
- the torsion and bending stiffness of the housing 1 is hardly affected by the opening 7.
- the link has the shape of a general prism or cylinder on (with a straight line shifted in parallel as generatrix). Unlike known weapons, the opens at Loading or reloading no longitudinal slot, through the dust, sand or the like get inside the weapon can.
- the movable loading lever arrangement is located on that Area of the weapon that is immediately below the line of sight lies and therefore not in contact with branches when firing or the like. Otherwise you will not see anything while aiming would. When holding the weapon, this area will not gripped so that the movement of the loading lever assembly unimpeded can be done.
- each of the discharge openings 13 there is a hinge part.
- a counterpart can be attached by means of an axis, the is attached to the underside of a flap.
- the flap is set up to close the respective ejection opening 13 close.
- the lock is for ejection to the right or convertible on the left. He points one to the corresponding one Direction adjustable trigger on when passing the appropriate flap opens it, the other flap opens keeps closed.
- the loading lever or cocking slide device can also do so be convertible that the corresponding loading lever at after rifle ejecting to the right and to the left rifle to the left can be folded out to the right.
- the housing 1 in most places of its length a hollow cross section with a closed circumference overall, it is extremely torsion-resistant. It can even with large dimensions (with a very large Weapon) made of plastic, aluminum or thin Steel sheet should be made so that it is even more adequate Stiffness is quite light despite its size.
- Openings may be provided. It can either be a Eccentric link may be provided, which at Convert to right or left-handed shooters by the appropriate Opening is passed through, or two connecting links, the two small openings giving the torsional stiffness affect less than one, larger opening.
