Definitions
- the invention relates to an expandable bar for the Transition between a window frame, door frame or the like and a subsequent component of the wall structure of a building wall, in particular a plaster layer, the bar with a Expansion tape is made of pre-compressed foam plastic, that is prevented from expanding in the delivery state of the bar and in final installation condition of the bar if necessary for the Expansion is free.
- the procedure is usually that Window frames and door frames (those are fixed to the structure connected, fixed window frame or door frame) in Appropriate wall openings of the shell are inserted and fastened there .become.
- the shell will be outside and inside plastered. This is particularly on the outside of the building Connection of the plaster to the window frame or door frame a critical Place because of the plaster on the face of the material of the window frame or Doorstocks (usually wood, plastic or metal) butts and there no perfect bond.
- the plaster when drying something fades and there window shocks and door shocks vibrations exposed, for example by violently slamming the window or doors, there is a risk of a crack or gap between them the plaster and the window frame or door frame.
- Moisture penetrate the window stick or in the long run Door frame damages and / or damages the plaster, for example too Crumbling of the plaster leads, and / or one under the plaster thermal insulation is moistened.
- Plastering strip This has an elastic adhesive tape Foam material, which also acts as a sealing tape, and leaves by means of the adhesive tape on the window frame, door frame or fasten the like.
- the tape causes one Vibration isolation between the window frame or door frame and the bar with the plaster attached to it. Based on these Decoupling and because of the better bond between the bar and the plaster has a better plaster connection on the window frame, Door frame or the like.
- the expansion band creates a kind of preload between the window frame, Door frame or the like and the plaster, so that, for example: Despite the Shrinkage of the plaster when drying or a shift of the Window frames, door frames or the like after the application of the Plaster layer is still a tight plaster connection is achieved.
- the invention has for its object a bar of the aforementioned Way of making available when installing the bar with expansion prevented Expansion band on the one hand and establishing the state in which the expansion band is free for expansion if necessary, on the other hand are particularly practical, simple and quick.
- the strip according to the invention is in the delivery state and in the initial Installed the expansion band between the base wall and the active wall included (where the expansion band is the distance and / or the Do not completely fill the space between the base wall and the active wall got to). Due to the weakening zone in the transition area, the User after creating the subsequent component of the wall structure the building wall, especially the application of a plaster layer, simple and quickly split the weakening zone and thereby the expansion band release for the expansion that may be required. Depending on the situation it can be beneficial to separate the weakened zone for as long as the plaster is still a little plastic and not yet fully hardened.
- the tab can be used in addition to the weakening zone separation function also the function of creating an opportunity for Apply a protective film. If you imagine that all around one on all four sides of the window frame, door frame or the like bar according to the invention is attached, it is an extreme for practice useful way to attach a protective film to these strips, which closes the window opening or door opening and that part of the window frame, door frame or the like that is not of that mentioned component of the wall structure of the building wall, in particular the plaster layer to be covered. In this condition the subsequent part of the wall structure, especially the Plaster layer, attached or applied without, because of Contamination on the window frame or door frame should be taken. Later the protective film can be easily subtracted from.
- the active wall on its edge opposite the transition area behind a Nose of the bar is engaged.
- the weakening zone can also be a kind Form a film hinge around the base wall and the active wall at this Manufacturing to be able to swivel well against each other. Due to the described embodiment of the invention, the bar, apart from the expansion tape, any adhesive tape for Fastening the bar to the window frame, door frame or the like, and any tape on the tab, all in one produce a single extrusion process.
- a reinforcing fabric section is fastened according to the invention.
- the insulation material layer often in the form of polystyrene plates
- the one applied on the outside to provide a layer of reinforcement fabric, e.g. by means of a Filler is attached to the insulation material layer.
- Reinforcing fabric section can be removed with a piece of overlap the reinforcement mesh beginning with the bar and so make sure that the reinforcement leads to the bar.
- a particularly preferred option is the reinforcement fabric section To attach to the bar, is an edge area of the Reinforcing fabric section in the space between the base wall and the active wall and otherwise the Lead reinforcement fabric section out of this room. If e.g. the snapping between an edge described above the active wall and the rest of the bar can be seen on clamp the reinforcement mesh section particularly well at this point and thus ensure attachment without any additional means.
- the invention Not only can be used at the transition to a plaster layer, but also advantageous at the transition to the outer shell Building wall with a double-shell wall structure, e.g. one Brick facing.
- the invention has In the final installation state, the active wall is usually still through the expansion band with some preload against the Plaster face is pressed.
- you move in the Rule the active wall between the expansion band and the front edge the outer shell of the wall structure after the Weakened zone has been separated. In this situation it is Expansion band capable of irregularities and deviations the edge of the outer shell of the wall structure from the linear course, how they are the rule to balance.
- Expansion tapes made of pre-compressed foam are in themselves known and commercially available. It is mostly about Polyurethane foam plastic, which is treated or impregnated is brought with certain additions that after approval from the pre-compressed state only slowly to the expanded state emotional.
- exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7 is a Groin known in which, however, the last part 50 not be glued to the window frame, but after flipping it over 180 ° by sticking a protective film in front of the window opening of the window stick.
- a wall-thickness-reducing, small gutter in the outside of the transition area which is a convenient Driving along with a knife allows to get there the transition area cut through.
- a kind of perforation is also used to form the Weakening zone possible.
- the weakening zone and any aids in the vicinity of the weakening zone in such a way that the weakening zone can be easily separated by manipulation without tools.
- a whole a particularly preferred possibility is to provide a tab that at the weakened zone or near the weakened zone from the Ledge goes off, and the training should be such that the weakened zone can be separated by pulling on the tab and / or tilting the tab.
- a cheap, concrete option is to put the tab in the area of a To let the wall thickness decrease and to carry out the training that by pulling and / or tilting the tab, the weakening zone is separated and either the tab from the rest of the bar is separated or not.
- Fig. 1 is a horizontal cross section through part of a house wall 2, which consist for example of brick or concrete can. 1 is the outside of the House, and below on the drawing side of Fig. 1 is the inside of the House. The one running from top to bottom in FIG. 1 The boundary line is the reveal 4, and that in Fig. 1 is horizontal running, upper boundary line of the wall 2 represents the outer surface 6 the unplastered wall 2. Quite a bit further to the left of 1 has an identical mirror image Imagine wall section, so that the two soffit surfaces one Limit wall opening on both sides.
- a window frame 8 is attached, the joint between the outside of the window frame 8 and the soffits 4 through hardened polyurethane foam 10 is filled.
- the window block 8 is a glass pane 12, preferably a double glass pane, by means of a subsequently attached block bar 14 attached. So it's about around a fixed window pane 12.
- the window sash does not sit directly in the window frame 8, but in an openable window frame, which is hinged to the Window stick 8 is attached.
- a plastering strip 18 On the outside of the window frame 8 is on this by means of a Adhesive tape 16 a plastering strip 18, hereinafter referred to as "strip 18" called, glued.
- the adhesive tape is made of high foam plastic Strength that is resilient but relatively high Has compression resistance.
- the adhesive tape 16 also serves as Sealing tape.
- the strip 18 Apart from the adhesive tape 16, the strip 18 consists essentially from a base wall 20, one essentially parallel to this Active wall 22, a first side wall 24, a second side wall 26, a protective tab 28 and an expansion band 30.
- the above Walls 20, 22, 24, 26 enclose a space 34 which is shown in FIG. 1 drawn cross section is substantially rectangular, the Walls 20 and 22 are substantially parallel to window pane 12 run and the side walls 24 and 26 substantially rectangular run to the plane of the window pane 12.
- the adhesive tape 12 is on the flat side of the base wall 20 facing the window frame 8 glued.
- the expansion band 30 is slightly less wide than the space mentioned 34 which is enclosed by the walls 20, 22, 24, 26.
- the the House wall 2 closer, first side wall 24 is on the window frame 8 more distant edge bent and somewhat continued, also from bevelled on both sides.
- the active wall 22 is on her the House wall 2 closer, free edge bevelled on both sides.
- the tapered end portion 36 of the active wall 22 is behind the beveled end portion 38 of the kinked continued first Snapped side wall 24.
- room 34 was still open because of the active wall 22 assumed a different angular position relative to the base wall 20. In this intermediate state of manufacture could do the pre-compression Expansion tape 30 can be conveniently placed in the room 34.
- the active wall 22 was swiveled clockwise and behind the End area 38 locked. In this state, the expansion band is 30 prevented from expanding.
- the protective tab 28 bears on its facing away from the window frame 8 Flat side an adhesive layer 40 on which a protective film 42 is glued is. On the back, the protective tab 28 has a spacer 44, which is supported on the window frame 8.
- the wall thickness is Protective tab 29 greatly weakened. After plastering is finished the protective film 42 removed. Then you reach under from the outside Protective tab 28 and pulls the protective tab 28 towards itself, whereby the protective tab 28 around the confluence area of small wall thickness swings and finally breaks off there (predetermined breaking point).
- the second side wall 26 is provided with an internal notch 46, which in the drawn cross-section the shape of an acute-angled Triangle has.
- the apex of the acute angle lies approximately in the plane, which is formed by the outside of the side wall 26.
- the Notch 46 creates a weakening zone 48 of the second sidewall 26. If, as described, the protective tab 28 from the rest Bar 18 is broken away, this will also Weakened zone 48 of the second side wall 26 separated, so that then the base wall 20 and the active wall 22 no longer through there second side wall 26 are interconnected.
- the expansion band 30 can expand and the active wall 22 in FIG. 1 upwards press if necessary. This state is shown in Fig. 2.
- first plaster layer 50 on the House wall 2 and then a second layer of plaster 52.
- the free surface the second plaster layer 52 is substantially flush with the outer surface the second side wall 26.
- the surface is the active wall 22 with projections and channels between them or alternatively provided with a coding generated by knurling, to improve the plaster binding.
- Fig. 3 shows an embodiment in which the width of the Expansion bands 30 a little less than the previous one Embodiment is.
- a reinforcing fabric section 54 is included its edge area in the room 34 of the bar 18 out and through the described snapping of the active wall 22 behind the end region the first side wall 24 clamped.
- the reinforcement fabric section 54 is along the front surface of a thermal insulation board 56 Polystyrene, mineral fiber or the like performed on the in Fig. 3rd not drawn house wall 2 is attached, and is with this Front surface using a not shown filler connected.
- the final part of the wall structure is on it Plaster layer 52.
- the bar 18 is made preferably made of plastic, in particular polyvinyl chloride or Polystyrene, alternatively made of metal.
- the bar according to the invention is not only on Transition from a window frame or a door frame can be used, but generally wherever plaster or another component of the Wall structure on a component made of wood, plastic, metal, stone or Concrete borders. Another example of this are from a wall emerging bars.
