Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Lockenwickler mit einem zylinderförmigen Wickelkörper aus einem Kunststoff- oder Latexmaterial und einem darauf sitzenden mantelförmigen Haftkörper aus einem selbsthaftenden Haftband.
  • Bei derartigen Lockenwicklern handelt es sich um Haftwickler, die den Vorteil haben, ohne eine Spange, einen Querriegel oder einen sonstigen Verschlußmechanismus gehandhabt werden zu können und insoweit nur aus einem etwa runden Körper bestehen. Nach außen abstehende Haftfortsätze eines auf einem Wickelkörper sitzenden Haftkörpers treten direkt mit dem Haar in Wirkverbindung und halten den Lockenwickler nach einem Aufrollvorgang im Haar.
  • Als nachteilig hat es sich jedoch erwiesen, daß derartige Lockenwickler schwerer sind als konventionelle Lockenwicklern, was die Tendenz des Abrollens im Haar aufgewickelter Haftwickler erhöht und damit den Vorteil solcher Haftwickler, keine Verschlußmittel zu benötigen, schmälert. Dies gilt insbesondere für Lockenwickler mit größeren Durchmessern.
  • Aus der DE-A-4 018 202 ist ein Haftwickler zum Aufwickeln menschlichen Haares bekannt, der einen Stützkörper und einen den Umfang des Stützkörpers bedeckenden zylinderförmigen Haftkörper aufweist, welcher nach außen abstehende Haftfortsätze besitzt. Als Stützkörper ist ein Zylinderabschnitt aus geschäumtem Kunststoff vorgesehen, der so engporig ausgestaltet ist, daß er Flüssigkeit aufzunehmen in der Lage ist und der schwammartig ausdrückbar ist. Diese Ausbildung gestattet es, die Haare trocken zu lassen und lediglich den Stützkörper anzufeuchten. Die aufgenommene Flüssigkeitsmenge macht den Haftwickler jedoch schwer.
  • Aus der US-A-3 566 886 ist ein Lockenwickler mit einem hohlzylindrischen, gitterförmigen Stützkörper bekannt, der in einem mittigen Bereich ein Haftband aufweist. Eine offene Gitterstruktur des Stützkörpers soll einen freien Luftdurchgang zum Inneren des Wicklers sicherstellen.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, einen Lockenwickler der genannten Art zu schaffen, der leicht ist und eine gute Haltekraft besitzt.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
  • Hierdurch wird ein Lockenwickler geschaffen, der eine reduzierte Ummantelung mit einem selbsthaftenden Borstenband, dem sogenannten Haftband, aufweist. Wegen des dadurch geringeren Gewichts des Lockenwicklers wird eine gute Haltekraft des Lockenwicklers auch mit weniger Haftband erreicht. Der Wirkeingriff der redzierten Ummantelung im Haar ist so hoch, daß der Lockenwickler aufgrund des geringeren Gewichts ein gegenüber den bekannten Haftwicklern verbessertes Fixierverhalten hat. Dadurch besteht nicht die Tendenz des Abrollens, nachdem das Haar aufgewickelt ist. In Verbindung mit der Ausbildung des Wickelkörpers als Weichwickelkörper aus einem geschlossenporigen Schaumstoff kann die reduzierte Ummantelung mit dem selbsthaftenden Borstenband ihre Vorteile voll entfalten, da das geringe Gewicht mit einer Weichstruktur kombiniert wird, die die Verwendung als Nachtwickler begünstigt. Weiterhin unterstützt der geschlossenporige Schaumstoff die Widerstandsfähigkeit des Lockenwicklers gegen Chemikalien, die in Haarbehandlungsmitteln enthalten sein können. Der Lockenwickler kann also doppelt benutzt werden, einmal als normaler Haarwickler zum Eindrehen nasser Haare zu einem Trocknungsvorgang oder als Dauerwellen-Lockenwickler in Verbindung mit chemischen Haarbehandlungsmitteln.
  • Wegen der beidseitigen unbedeckten Abschnitte neigt der Lockenwickler nicht wie die meisten anderen Haftwickler zur Haarverfilzung. Nach einer Benutzung kann er ohne Probleme aus dem Haar entfernt werden.
  • Der Lockenwickler ist deshalb auch besonders geeignet für Dauerwellen, wo Haltebänder ungewollte Markierungen im Haar hinterlassen.
  • Vorzugsweise ist der Wickelkörper nur etwa zur Hälfte mit dem selbsthaftenden Haftband ummantelt. Verglichen mit konventionellen Lockenwicklern wiegt ein solcher Lockenwickler weniger als die Hälfte.
  • Als Kunststoffmaterial wird umweltfreundliches Polyethylen bevorzugt, wodurch der Lockenwickler zudem widerstandsfähig ist gegen Chemikalien, die normalerweise in Haarbehandlungsmitteln, wie Dauerwell-Mittel, enthalten sind.
  • Das Haftband kann wie ein Klettband Haftfortsätze aufweisen. Diese Haftfortsätze werden vorzugsweise von aufgeschnittenen Schlingen eines Nylon-Monofilaments gebildet, wodurch Haken entstehen. Diese Haken können durch einen Hitzeprozess zu pilzkopfartigen Borsten verformt werden. Ein solches Pilzkopf-Borsten-Band hat ebenfalls vorzügliche Hafteigenschaften.
  • Der Lockenwickler kann in verschiedenen Durchmessern und Längen hergestellt werden, wie in den Ansprüchen 7 und 8 ausgeführt.
  • Weitere Ausgestaltungen und Vorteile der Erfindung sind den Unteransprüchen und der nachfolgenden Beschreibung zu entnehmen.
  • Die Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand des in der beigefügten Abbildung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert.
    • Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch eine perspektivische Seitenansicht eines ersten Ausführungsbeispiels eines Lockenwicklers.
    • Fig. 2 zeigt schematisch eine perspektivische Seitenansicht eines zweiten Ausführungsbeispiels eines Lockenwicklers.
  • Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Lockenwickler ist ein Haftwickler mit einem zylinderförmigen Wickelkörper 1, auf dem ein mantelförmiger Haftkörper 2 sitzt.
  • Der Wickelkörper 1 ist vorzugsweise ein runder Vollkörper aus einem Kunststoff- oder Latexmaterial. Bevorzugt besteht der Wickelkörper 1 aus einem Kunststoffschaum, um den Wickelkörper 1 als Weichkörper auszubilden. Die Herstellung kann durch Extrudieren und Ablängen von Zylinderabschnitten erfolgen. Als Kunststoffschaum ist ein geschlossenporiger Schaumstoff einsetzbar. Als Kunststoffmaterial ist Polyethylen bevorzugt.
  • Eine Umfangsfläche 3 des Wickelkörpers 1 ist in einem mittigen Abschnitt bedeckt durch den Haftkörper 2, der den Wickelkörper 1 in diesem mittigen Bereich ummantelt. Beidseitig des Haftkörpers 2 weist der Wickelkörper 1 unbedeckte Abschnitte 4, 5 auf, also nicht vom Haftkörper 2 ummantelte Bereiche des Wickelkörpers 1, die jeweils 18 bis 35 % einer Länge L des Wickelkörpers 1 einnehmen. Vorzugsweise ist etwa die Hälfte der Länge L des Wickelkörpers 1 mit dem Haftkörper 2 ummantelt.
  • Die an den jeweils freien Enden des Wickelkörpers 1 ausgebildeten, nicht ummantelten Abschnitte 4, 5 sind vorzugsweise etwa gleich lang, da die daraus folgende Symmetrie des Lockenwicklers dessen Handhabung vereinfacht.
  • Der Haftkörper 2 besteht aus einem im Haar selbsthaftenden Haftband in Form eines Hakenbandes mit einer Vielzahl verteilt angeordneter, nach außen abstehender Hakenfortsätze 6. Die Hakenfortsätze 6 können von aufgeschnittenen Schlingen eines Nylon-Monofilaments gebildet werden. Der Haftkörper 2 wird vorzugsweise in Form eines breiten Rings auf den Wikkelkörper 1 aufgeschoben und dort über eine an einen jeweiligen Durchmesser des Wickelkörpers 1 angepaßte Ringweite gehalten. Eine weitergehende Befestigung mittels Verkleben oder Verschweißen kann erfolgen.
  • Der Durchmesser des Wickelkörpers 1 kann zwischen 8 und 50 mm, die Länge L zwischen 50 und 80 mm, insbesondere 55 bis 70 mm, variieren.
  • Das in Fig. 2 dargestellte zweite Ausführungsbeispiel eines Lockenwicklers unterscheidet sich von dem vorstehend beschriebenen dadurch, daß das Haftband von einem Pilzband gebildet wird. Das Haftband umfaßt eine Vielzahl verteilt angeordneter, nach außen abstehender Pilzfortsätze 7. Die pilzkopfartige Gestaltung der Fortsätze 7 kann durch eine pilzkopfartige Verformung der Haken 6 (Fig. 1) unter Anwendung eines Wärmeschrittes erreicht werden. Im übrigen gelten die Ausführungen zu Fig. 1 entsprechend.

Claims (7)

  1. Lockenwickler mit einem zylinderförmigen Wickelkörper aus einem Kunststoff- oder Latexmaterial und einem darauf sitzenden mantelförmigen Haftkörper aus einem selbsthaftenden Haftband, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Haftkörper (2) einen mittigen Abschnitt einer Umfangsfläche (3) eines als Weichwickel ausgebildeten und aus einem geschlossenporigen, gegen Chemikalien widerstandsfähigen Schaumstoff bestehenden Wickelkörpers (1) bedeckt und der Wickelkörper (1) beidseits des mittigen Abschnitts jeweils einen unbedeckten, 18 bis 35 % einer Länge (L) des Wikkelkörpers einnehmenden Abschnitt (4, 5) aufweist.
  2. Lockenwickler nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Haftkörper (2) wenigstens die Hälfte der Länge (L) des Wickelkörpers (1) ummantelt.
  3. Lockenwickler nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Wickelkörper (1) aus geschäumtem Polyethylen besteht.
  4. Lockenwickler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Haftkörper (2) von einem Hakenband mit nach außen ragenden Haftfortsätzen (6) aus aufgeschnittenen Schlingen eines Nylon-Monofilaments gebildet wird.
  5. Lockenwickler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Haftkörper (2) von einem Borstenband mit nach außen ragenden Haftfortsätzen (7) aus aufgeschnittenen und durch Wärmebehandlung pilzkopfartig verformten Schlingen eines Nylon-Monofilaments gebildet wird.
  6. Lockenwickler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Wickelkörper (1) einen Durchmesser im Bereich zwischen 8 und 50 mm aufweist.
  7. Lockenwickler nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Wickelkörper (1) Längen im Bereich zwischen 50 und 80 mm, insbesondere 55 bis 70 mm, besitzt.
