Definitions

  • the invention relates to a gear for defenseless weaving machines with weft insertion elements which can be pushed back and forth alternately into the shed.
  • Such a transmission is e.g. known from DE-PS 37 31 990. It is used in a defenseless weaving machine to derive a rotary movement with an alternating direction of rotation from a continuous rotary movement of the main drive shaft, in order in this way to control a drive wheel for pushing the weft thread insertion members back and forth.
  • the weft thread to be inserted is inserted by grippers which are arranged at the tip of rods or at the tip of flexible bands.
  • the weft thread to be inserted is gripped at its end by these grippers by means of clamping devices outside the shed.
  • the rods or tapes are usually advanced in opposite directions from the two weaving machine sides into the shed. After the thread end has been transferred from a giving rapier to a receiving rapier, the rods are withdrawn again and the weft thread is completely inserted into the shed.
  • Various embodiments are known for clamping the weft thread on the hook and handing it over. However, these different possibilities are not important for the task to be solved here and therefore do not need to be described.
  • drive elements for the weft insertion member are required, which are moved alternately with different directions of rotation.
  • This can e.g. Be discs on which a flexible band is wound, or drive wheels with teeth that are in engagement with a perforation in flexible bands or with racks in rigid gripper bars.
  • the gears used for this use as the above-mentioned DE-PS shows, usually in a first gear part, continuously rotating cam or cam disks, of which a connecting rod is moved via oscillatingly mounted scanning rollers, which engages a tooth sector piece and turns it back and forth oscillating movement offset.
  • the oscillating movement of the tooth sector piece is taken off by a pinion and, via further gear members with the required speed ratio, onto a drive element for the weft insertion, e.g. a drive gear, which is in engagement with the toothing part of a gripper bar, or which engages in the perforation of a flexible belt, transmitted.
  • a drive element for the weft insertion e.g. a drive gear, which is in engagement with the toothing part of a gripper bar, or which engages in the perforation of a flexible belt, transmitted.
  • additional angle drives are also inserted here.
  • the swinging movement of the tooth sector piece is converted in this way into alternating rotary movement of the drive wheel.
  • the stroke of the oscillating movement can usually be changed by adjusting the connecting rod connection on the tooth sector piece. As a result, it is also possible to precisely adjust or change the stroke, that is to say the feed path of the gripper into the shed, as required.
  • Such a transmission design for generating an alternating back and forth movement for the weft insertion element in the form of a rapier of a weaving machine always has only one output shaft on the transmission output side. For this reason, only one drive gearwheel meshes with the teeth of the gripper bar.
  • the power transmission from the drive gear to the gripper rods leads to increased wear both on the drive gear and on the gripper rod. This wear must be avoided and the service life of the drive pinion and gripper rod increased.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to distribute the drive forces, which were previously transmitted from only one drive pinion to the gripper bars, to two drive pinions which are simultaneously engaged with the gripper bar.
  • the gear 1, 2 serves to convert a continuous rotational movement of the weaving machine main shaft 3 into an alternating right and left rotation movement of the drive pinions 4, 5 arranged on the output shafts 6, 7 for the weft insertion element 8.
  • cam disks 9, 10 are arranged, on the circumference of which there are contact rollers 11, 12. These scanning rollers 11, 12 are rotatably supported at the ends of an angle lever 13.
  • the angle lever 13 itself can swing back and forth around a machine-fixed bearing 14.
  • the oscillating movement of the angle lever 13 is guided to a connecting rod 16 by a lever arm 15 and transmitted through it to the tooth sector piece 17.
  • the tooth sector piece 17 is rotatably received in a machine-fixed bearing 18.
  • the connection between the connecting rod 16 and the tooth sector piece 17 is brought about by a joint 19.
  • This joint is adjustably arranged in an arcuate bearing 20 (elongated hole) in the tooth sector piece 17 in order in this way to ensure a stroke adjustment of the tooth sector piece 17 and thus also a stroke adjustment for the weft insertion element 8.
  • the tooth sector piece 17 has a circular toothing 21. With the toothing 21, a pinion 22 is engaged, which according to. Fig. 2 can be brought into engagement with the internal teeth 23 of a bevel gear 24.
  • the axis 25 of the bevel gear 24 lies in the vertical plane, vertically offset and parallel to the bearing axis 18 of the tooth sector piece 17th
  • FIG. 2 shows a top view of FIG. 1, partly in section. A part of the toothing 21 of the tooth sector piece 17 is visible below the pinion 22.
  • the pinion 22 engaged with the toothing 21 is designed as a sleeve and is rotatably arranged on the axis 25.
  • the axis 25 is rotatably mounted in the partial transmission 2.
  • the bevel gear 24 meshes with a bevel gear 26, the axis of which runs at right angles to the axis of the bevel gear 24 and forms the output axis 26a of the bevel gear transmission formed from the bevel gears 24 and 26 and known from DE-PS 37 31 990 within the sub-transmission 2.
  • a gear wheel 29 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the driven shaft 26a between the bearings 27, 28 receiving the driven shaft 26a.
  • two output shafts 6, 7 having teeth 30 are rotatably supported in the bearings 31, 32 in the partial transmission 2.
  • the toothing 30 is in constant engagement with the gear 29.
  • One end of the output shafts 6, 7 protrudes from the housing 33 enveloping the partial transmission 2.
  • a pinion 4 or 5 is rotatably arranged.
  • the pinions 4, 5 are in operative connection with the teeth of the weft insertion element 8 (see FIG. 1).
  • Fig. 3 shows a transmission structure in which, instead of the gear 29, an outer wheel 35 with internal teeth 34 is rotatably arranged between the bearings 27, 28 of the output shaft 26a thereon.
  • the output shafts 6, 7 carry, on their end leading into the transmission, a pinion 36 or 37, the toothing of which engages with the inner toothing 34 of the outer wheel 35.
  • the remaining structure of the partial transmission corresponds to that of FIG. 2.
  • Fig. 4 shows a transmission 2a with a different structure from the aforementioned transmissions.
  • the aforementioned partial transmissions 1 and 2 are omitted here.
  • a tooth sector piece 17 has an arcuate recess 38, the upper circular arc 38 'of which has a toothing 39 directed into the recess 38. With this toothing, the pinion 40 is engaged, which is rotatably connected to the shaft 41 of the outer wheel 35.
  • the shaft 41 of the outer wheel 35 lies in the vertical plane parallel to the bearing axis 18 of the toothed sector piece 17.
  • the outer wheel 35 has an internal toothing 34, into which, in the manner of a planetary gear, are arranged axially parallel and above the geometric longitudinal axis 42 of the shaft 41 on the output shafts 6, 7 Engage pinion 36.37.
  • the output shafts 6.7 form the output of the transmission.
  • the free end of the respective output shaft 6.7 takes a pinion 4.5 rotatably.
  • Both pinions 4, 5 are in engagement with the toothing of the weft insertion element 8, for example with a looper rod carrying the looper.
  • the weft thread insertion element 8 executes an alternating forward and backward movement according to double arrow 44.
  • FIG. 5 shows the gear 2a in a sectional view along the line II in FIG. 4.
  • the bearing axis 18 of the tooth sector piece 17 is accommodated in the bearings 49, 50 shown schematically.
  • the tooth sector piece 17 has an arcuate recess 38 with internal teeth 39 which meshes with the pinion 40.
  • the pinion 40 is coaxially connected to the outer wheel 35 and arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the shaft 41 of the outer wheel 35.
  • the outer wheel 35 and the shaft 41 consist of one piece here.
  • the shaft 41 is also received in schematically illustrated bearings 47, 48 of the housing or in parts of the gear housing 33.
