Definitions

  • the invention relates to a covering device with a flexible, flat covering means, such as blinds, awning cloth or the like., Which is wound on a winding shaft and fastened with its free, front edge to an edge strip, which is arranged at both ends with two spaced apart , first and second rollers in lateral guide rails and held under spring action by at least one flexible traction means, which is deflected at the outer ends of the guide rails and is wound on winding rollers that sit on the winding shaft.
  • a flexible, flat covering means such as blinds, awning cloth or the like.
  • Flexible cover means such as awning covers or the like, serve as sun protection for patios and pergolas, but also as a cover for swimming pools to protect against dust, leaves and other contaminants.
  • the fabric When removing the blind or the fabric from the winding shaft, the fabric must be held in the longitudinal and transverse directions, the transverse tension is effected with an edge strip in which the free, front edge of the fabric is clamped, while the longitudinal tension in two flexible traction means Take the form of ropes attached to the are attached to both ends of the edge strip and are returned via deflection rollers at the outer ends of the guide rail to the winding shaft, where they wind up on winding rollers when the awning fabric is unwound.
  • the known covering devices have the disadvantage that they either have the length differences of the traction means do not compensate sufficiently or the awning fabric or the blinds cannot be led around arches, as is often the case with pergolas, where the cover material should not only protect against the incidence of light from above, but also against the incidence of light from the front.
  • the side guide rails do not run in a straight line, but have a kink that must be traversed by the edge strip. It can easily happen that the traction means jump off their infeed rollers.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a covering device of the type described in the introduction with simple means such that the covering means with its edge strip can also be advanced and pushed back along longitudinally bent or bent guide rails and at the same time large length differences of the traction means in the edge strip are compensated for, where the Traction devices are easily accessible and their tension can be easily adjusted.
  • the traction means is introduced into the edge strip via infeed rollers arranged at the ends of the edge strip and is supported on guide rollers arranged transversely to the deflection rollers, the traction means grooves of which are tangentially aligned with the traction means grooves of the entry rollers.
  • This configuration has the advantage that the traction means for tensioning the awning fabric in any angular position of the edge strip can safely run into it and also not jump off where the edge strip of the awning fabric passes through arches or angles in the lateral guide rails.
  • the traction means are held under tension by springs, there can be large differences in length of the tension springs can be compensated for, which can be tensioned from the outside at the same time in a position that is easily accessible even when the awning is open.
  • the guide rollers are arranged coaxially with the first rollers. These can be designed as twin rollers, between each of which a guide roller is arranged. As a result, the rollers also serve as lateral guides for the guide roller, which expediently has a smaller diameter than the rollers.
  • the guide rollers and / or at least one of the rollers are axially displaceably mounted at the ends of the edge strip so that the edge strip can easily be crooked within certain limits when the covering means is pulled forward and pulled back.
  • the guide rails expediently have lateral guide surfaces for the rollers, so that they are held laterally and are always pushed back into their guideways. It is expedient here if the first and the second rollers each have their own lateral guide surfaces in the guide rails.
  • 10 denotes a covering device, namely a pergola awning, which can cover and shade a glazed porch 11 of a residential house (not shown) on its top 12 and on its front 13.
  • the covering device 10 consists of a flexible, flat covering means 14, namely an awning cloth, which is wound on a winding shaft 15, which is mounted in the awning box 16.
  • the covering means 14 is fastened to an edge strip 17 which is guided at its two ends 17a and 17b in lateral guide rails 18 and 19.
  • Each guide rail 18 or 19 is supported with supports 20 on the stem 11 and consists of an upper, almost horizontal part 18a or 19a and a lower, approximately vertical part 18b or 19b. Where the upper and lower parts of the guide rails 18 and 19 meet, they are connected to one another by curved parts 18c and 19c.
  • the traction means are wound on take-up rolls 22 which are attached to and rotate with the ends of the take-up shaft 15, the pulling means being directed onto the take-up roll 22 so that they wind up the pulling means while the covering means 14 is being unwound from the take-up shaft and vice versa.
  • the traction means 21 run through the guide rails 18 and 19 to their free, lower ends 23 and 24, respectively. There they are deflected via deflection rollers 25 and 26 and returned through the guide rails to the edge strip 17, in which their ends are connected to a tension spring 27 are attached, which is located inside the edge strip 17.
  • each guide rail 18 or 19 consists of a hollow profile carrier with two upper chambers 28 and 29, and two lower chambers 30 and 31, which are separated from one another by a lateral intermediate wall 32 and two intermediate floors 33 and 34 .
  • the supports 20 are fixed, which carry the guide rails 18 and 19.
  • the upper chamber which is located on the inside in each case, is open on its inside facing the awning fabric and receives the guide means for the edge strip 17.
  • the traction means 21 is guided, which runs off the take-up roll 22 and, after being deflected around the deflecting roll 25 or 26, passes through a recess in the intermediate floor 33 into the upper chamber 29.
  • the guide means 35 with which each of the two ends 17a and 17b of the edge strip 17 is guided in the guide rails 18 and 19, consist of first rollers 36 and second rollers 37, which are arranged at a distance from one another in the pull-out direction of the cover means 14.
  • the first roller 36 is designed as a twin roller and a guide roller 39 is arranged between the individual rollers 36 a and 36 b, which has a smaller diameter than the first rollers 36 and has a cable groove 40.
  • the first rollers 36 and the guide roller 39 are rotatably supported independently of one another on the same axis 41, which is mounted in the edge strip 17 to be displaceable to a limited extent in the axial direction. Both first rollers are guided on lateral guide surfaces 42 and 43 of the guide rails 18 and 19, respectively.
  • the second roller 37 has a slightly larger diameter than the first rollers 36 and is guided on its own lateral guide surfaces 44 and 45 in the open, upper chamber 29. It is rotatable on a fixed axis 46 and axially displaceable.
  • an inlet roller 47 which is arranged transversely to the rollers 36 and 37 and whose axis of rotation 48 is arranged approximately perpendicularly between the axes 41 and 46 of the rollers.
  • the inlet roller 47 also has a cable groove 49 in which it deflects the traction means 21 coming from the deflection roller 25 or 26 into the interior of the edge strip.
  • the traction means 21 is supported by the guide roller 39 in every position of the edge strip 17 in such a way that it runs exactly tangentially into the cable groove 49 of the inlet roller 47 and length compensation takes place inside the edge strip can if this passes through the arc parts 18 c or 19 c of the guide rails 18 and 19.
  • the edge strip 17th can skew within certain limits when pulling out or retracting without constraints in the guide means 35, since the first and second rollers 36 and 37 can move together with the guide roller 39 mounted between the first rollers in the axial direction.
  • the rollers 36 and 37 are provided with chamfers 50 and 51 on their outer peripheral edges.
  • the length compensation of the traction means inside the edge strip can also be designed somewhat differently and it is also possible to store the guide rollers separately on the edge strip. It is possible to design the rollers a little differently or to use a thin chain or a steel cable instead of a rope.
