Definitions

  • the invention relates to a slicer for food, such as sausage, cheese or the like.
  • a clippings wagon which is mounted along a rotating circular knife by hand or motor and with a storage device that a conveyor such as a swing rake or a chain frame with orbiting comprises reversibly driven chains which are equipped with tips and which, starting from the circular knife, convey the cut disks via a depositing tray, and with a racket which can be pivoted against the depositing tray and with fingers which engage behind the conveyor device in a comb-like manner
  • the conveyor device having at least two zones for receiving has at least two disks which can be conveyed in the same way and are cut off from at least two pieces of clippings in one cutting operation (cf. for example AT-B 386792).
  • machines of this type have a drive for the depositing system, derived mechanically from the clippings wagon mechanically via toothed belt, in particular the conveyor device, the conveying speed of which in the transition area in the circular knife must be exactly matched to the cutting speed according to the feed of the clippings wagon.
  • This manual drive was servo-assisted by an electric motor or replaced entirely by an electric drive. It is known to use a program control to approach specific placement points along the conveyor device and thus to create a specific ejection position for each disc by the racket. With this machine, cold cuts can be deposited in two axes.
  • a measuring system determines a characteristic measure of the material to be cut (for example the diameter) and uses this measure to program the variation of the respective drop point. In this way, full-surface cold cuts can be filed.
  • a characteristic measure of the material to be cut for example the diameter
  • a scale into this highly developed slicing machine and thus also produce a sliced according to the customer's wishes, with the correct weight or price.
  • this is achieved in that the fingers of the racket reach behind only one of the zones of the conveyor device and that a control for switching on the swivel drive of the racket, for subsequently switching on the conveyor device for a distance corresponding to the distance between the zones and then for reactivating the swivel drive of the Racket is provided. If a sausage stick and a cheese stick are placed and cut parallel to each other on the clippings wagon, then the conveyor takes over two slices, namely a sausage slice and a cheese slice from the knife. The conveyor leads them side by side, for. B. impaled on the tips of the chains of the chain frame, up to the area above the tray.
  • a racket with the fingers behind the conveyor device namely the chains or the like, is designed in such a way that the fingers only engage behind the one zone of the conveyor device in which the first of the two disks conveyed is located.
  • the folding racket activated by the control pulls this slice (sausage slice) off the tips and throws it onto the tray, on which a bread slice or half a roll can already be placed.
  • the controller then activates the drive of the conveyor device and allows the second disc (cheese disc) to advance from the waiting position (second zone) to the discharge position (first zone). Then the racket is switched on again. He throws the cheese slice exactly onto the sausage slice.
  • a new control cycle begins as soon as the leading disc reaches the end position on the next cut Has reached the conveyor (at the end of the chain frame). Then it is discarded, the next disc moves up and is discarded again.
  • a slicing can also be made if the disc moving from the waiting position (second zone) does not move exactly to the deposit point of the disc already deposited on the chain frame, but if the deposit point is varied.
  • the deposit point for example from one end region of the chain frame, can move by an amount that corresponds to the scale-like overlap, towards the beginning of the chain frame, that is, in the direction of the circular knife. This is achieved by shortening the switch-on time of the drive of the conveyor device or by reducing the number of revolutions of a cutting motor via the programmable control.
  • a special embodiment which is designed for laying two types of clippings, is characterized in that the fingers of the racket have a length which is less than or approximately equal to half the width of the conveyor. With three types of clippings, the fingers of the racket would have a length of approximately one third of the length of the transport path of the conveyor device (etc.).
  • a flexible adjustment to the number of types of clippings used on the clippings wagon is obtained if the fingers of the racket substantially correspond in length to the width of the conveyor device and if the racket can be moved laterally relative to the conveyor device.
  • An embodiment is particularly expedient in which a second racket is provided, which is arranged congruently with the first racket and whose fingers are essentially the same in length as the width of the conveying device.
  • Fig. 1 shows an oblique view of a slicing machine according to the invention
  • Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of the components essential to the invention in the plan.
  • a slicer 1 which in the example carries a stick of sausage 2 and a stick of cheese 3.
  • the clippings wagon 1 is longitudinal a rotating driven circular knife 4 movable back and forth (arrow 5 in Fig. 2).
  • the cut material is taken up behind the circular knife 4 by a conveyor device 6, which has conveyor chains 8, which are supported on a chain frame 7 and which carry tips 9, on rollers.
  • the cut material is gripped (impaled) by these tips 9 and transported further along the conveying device.
  • a racket 10 has a rake-shaped design and comprises fingers 11 arranged parallel to one another, which engage behind the conveyor chains 8.
  • the racket is pivotable about an axis 12. During the swiveling process, he pulls the cut good from the tips 9 of the conveyor chains 8 and throws the cut good onto a tray 13.
  • two clippings namely sausage 2 and cheese 3
  • two slices namely a sausage slice 14 and a cheese slice 15
  • the conveyor device 6 comes to a standstill there. This results in a zone on the conveyor device 6 in which the first slice, namely the sausage slice 14 comes to rest, and a second zone in which the cheese slice 15 is arranged.
  • the fingers 11 of the racket 10 are shortened in comparison to conventional slicing machines, or grip behind the conveying device 6 only over part of the conveying path.
  • the length of the fingers 11 corresponds to the width of the first zone in the exemplary embodiment. Only the first zone is attacked.
  • a controller 16 switches on the drive 17 (FIG. 2) of the conveying device 6 when the clippings wagon 1 is fed in synchronism with its stroke (arrows 18).
  • a displacement measuring system recognizes the reaching of the predeterminable and optionally variable end position of the clippings slices on the conveyor device 6 (arrow 19) shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • the drive 17 is switched off or disengaged and the racket drive 20 is activated.
  • the Beater 10 as described, throws the sausage slice 14 onto the tray.
  • the controller 16 then briefly switches on the drive 17 again, as a result of which the second disc, namely the cheese disc 15 from the second zone, which represents the waiting position, reaches the first zone and thus the discharge position.
  • the drive 17 switches off and the racket drive 20 is activated again.
  • the cheese slice 15 ' is placed precisely on the sausage slices 14'. This process is repeated every time you cut.
  • the deposit point is varied from one deposit process to another (e.g. by a program in the control 16), there is no stack with changing clippings, but an overlapping sliced cold cuts.
  • the control allows you to store on fixed drop points but also on variable drop points.
  • the racket 10 can be exchanged for a racket of the usual finger length, then the machine can be used like a standard machine. It is also possible to use a racket with a length that engages behind the entire conveying device and, in the example, can be extended to the left depending on the number of cut material pieces to be cut at the same time. Furthermore, a standard and a shortened racket for normal operation can work synchronously; in the special case described, only the shortened racket is actuated, the congruently arranged standard racket remains in the rest position engaging behind the conveying device 6.
