Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bread slicer with a loading area for a loaf to be sliced loaf, a cutting device with the loaf successively one slice is cut off, a feed device, with the advancing element, the bread from the loading area to the cutter is to be displaced with a Schneidguthalter associated with the advancing element, which prevents in a holding position movements of the loaf of bread parallel to a cutting plane and in a release position allows the insertion of the loaf and the removal of a remnant, and with a receiving area for the cut slices, the Schneidguthalter starting from a start position, in which he is in the release position, automatically as a result of the feed movement in the holding position can be transferred.
  • Bread slicers of the aforementioned type are generally known and are used in particular in the food retail trade and in bakeries. By means of such bread slicing machines, a loaf of bread can be freshly sliced as required by the purchaser. In contrast to well-known bread slicing machines with cutting gate, the use of a bread slicer, by means of which the loaf successively one slice is cut off, allows the adjustment of the feed rate, the individual choice of the thickness of the cut slices.
  • the loaf of bread is advanced by means of the feed device onto the cutting device. Then, a slice of the loaf of bread is successively cut, wherein prior to each cut the loaf of bread is conveyed by means of the feed device is advanced by a distance set as the desired thickness of the discs in the direction of the cutting device.
  • the cutting process ends - typically on a stop element - automatically, before the Schneidguthalter would come into contact with the cutter.
  • the operator then transferred the Schneidguthalter by hand in the release position, removes the leftover part in the insertion area, this adds the cut slices and passes the sliced loaf after packaging the same z. B. in a tubular bag the buyer.
  • the hook hook referred to in this machine as a claw can be manually operated on the one hand, but on the other hand also with the help of its own drive, which is movably arranged in the feed slide.
  • a gear motor Within a housing of a slider system, a gear motor is arranged, which drives the shaft of the claw via a gear pair and thus causes their pivoting.
  • the claw is operated via the electronics of the machine in conjunction with the keys of a membrane keyboard.
  • the automation realized with this machine is imperfect in that, while the operator does not have to manually operate the gripper hook, he must press a special button to open it.
  • a disadvantage is to be further considered that a separate and therefore expensive drive is required for the operation of the hook hook.
  • the generic DE 44 13 568 A1 discloses a method and apparatus for slicing food products.
  • the product to be sliced is detected by means of gripping elements of a gripping unit of a product feeder and moved in the direction of a cutting unit.
  • the feed device is provided on its front side with two gripper hooks which move towards one another like a pliers, which are provided at their ends remote from the hook with toothed wheels which interact with a central toothed rack.
  • a pestle of a recliner is guided, located in front of the Engagement region of the claw of the hook hook is located.
  • the feeler plate on the ram is displaced into the interior of the feed slide and actuates a switch there.
  • This causes a controller to actuate a piston-cylinder unit with which the rack is pulled back and thus the gripper hooks are closed.
  • the gripper hooks should be opened again in the other direction by actuating the piston-cylinder unit.
  • the piston-cylinder unit for the hook hook actuation is again a separate drive device which is movably arranged on the feed slide.
  • the invention has for its object to propose a bread slicer whose operation requires no training and so is particularly suitable for self-service by customers.
  • the required measures neither increase the production costs compared to the known bread slicing machines, nor may the robustness of the bread slicer be reduced.
  • a separate drive for the gripper hook for its transfer from the holding to the release position and vice versa should be avoided.
  • the sliced product holder is automatically transferable from the holding position to the release position when the advancing element reaches an end position in the vicinity of the cutting device, and can also be transferred from the release position into the holding position at the beginning of the cutting process. In this way, manual intervention by the user becomes unnecessary in both steps.
  • the bread cutting machine has a mechanical coupling between a fixed machine housing and the item to be cut, which causes the transfer of the Schneidguthalters from the release position to the holding position and / or from the holding position to the release position in a relative movement of the two aforementioned parts.
  • the mechanical coupling can be made particularly robust, whereby the reliability of the bread slicing machine according to the invention is increased. Since a separate drive for the closing mechanism of Schneidguthalter is not needed, the cost of enabling the automatic operation over known machines are not significantly increased. There is only an implementation of the relative movement of the Schneidguthalters to the machine housing in a movement of the hook hook, wherein the same drive is effective.
  • the sliceable material holder is provided with a prongs gripper hook, which is pivotally mounted on a gripper shaft which is pivotable by means of a lever whose end facing away from the gripper shaft cooperates with a sliding block with a slotted guide arranged fixed to the housing.
  • Slice holder on a gripper shaft and the pivoting come by means of a lever already in use in the known bread slicing machines.
  • this proven principle of action is combined with the likewise known, on the one hand, mechanically simple, and on the other hand, very robust principle of the slotted guide.
  • the slotted guide is arranged in a side wall running perpendicular to a footprint of the loaf of bread in the insert area. The movement of the sliding block can then be implemented particularly easily directly without further joints in the rotational movement of the gripper shaft.
  • a bread slicer in a bread slicer according to the invention with slotted guide whose slope in the transfer of Schneidguthalters from the release position to the holding position after leaving the starting position in terms of amount smaller than in the transfer of Schneidguthalters from the holding position to the release position before reaching the end position.
  • the slotted guide At a constant feed rate of the feed element, the slotted guide then exerts a greater force on the Schneidguthalter when transferring to the holding position, as when leaving the holding position.
  • the sliced product holder is displaced in the end position so far in the feed direction that a remaining piece of the loaf is in the removal area after it has been released or moves there automatically. This simplifies the removal of the remaining piece.
  • the entire cut loaf is contiguous on one side of the cutter and does not need to be assembled by the customer.
  • the feed movement in the transfer of the Schneidguthalters (3) from the release position to the holding position is continuous and that the feed rate in this phase is smaller than the subsequent regular cutting operation. Due to the untimed movement of the feed element and the transfer of Schneidguthalters takes place continuously and without alternating accelerations and delays. The low feed rate in this phase also prevents the loaf located in the loading area during the closing process of Schneidguthalters, especially when penetrating its tines in a hard bread crust, slipped or tilted.
  • the feed device 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a plate-shaped feed element 2 and a material holder 3.
  • the feed element 2 has an elongated opening 4.
  • the Schneidguthalter 3 is cut from a stainless steel sheet and bent in the form of a hook hook and has a plurality of hook-shaped curved, tapered tines 5.
  • the Schneidguthalter 3 is connected in a manner not shown with a parallel to the feed element 2 extending gripper shaft 6 and pivotable about its longitudinal axis, not shown.
  • the feed device 1 also has a likewise connected to the gripper shaft 6 lever 7, by means of which the Schneidguthalter 3 is pivotable.
  • the lever 7 has at its end a ball bearing sliding block 8. Opposite the lever 7, the feed device 1 has a hook-shaped curved guide element 9.
  • the feed device 1 is part of the bread slicing machine 10 shown in FIGS. 2 a and 2 b. This has a box-shaped housing 12 rounded off on the side facing the user (not shown).
  • the bread slicer 10 has an elongate insertion area 13, which is accessible to the user from the front side 14 of the bread slicer 10 after opening a hood, not shown.
  • the insertion area 13 has a rectangular profile whose underside 15 is inclined by about 30 ° to the user.
  • an unrecognizable guide rail is formed, from which the formed on the feed device 1 guiding element 9 is guided.
  • the drive takes place via a non-visible cutting motor.
  • At the user facing away from the front side 16 higher rear side 17 of the insertion area 13 is a substantially extending in the longitudinal direction of the insertion portion 13 slotted guide 18 is formed, in which the formed on the feed device 1 sliding block 8 is guided.
  • the insert area 13 is open to the side wall 19 of the bread slicer 10 to the left of the user.
  • a arranged on the side wall 19 cutting device of which only a drive flange 20 is shown, an unillustrated, inserted into the insertion area 13 loaf loaf is sliced successively in slices.
  • the insertion area 13 is followed by an unillustrated receiving area for the likewise not shown, cut from the loaf slices.
  • the feed device 1 is located in the starting position S at the end 21 of the loading area 13 opposite the cutting device.
  • the cutting material holder 3 is in the position shown in the figures 3a and 3b shown release position: The lever 7 with the sliding block 8 and with this the Schneidguthalter 3 is pivoted upwards so that the tines 5 are hidden behind the opening 4 in the feed element 2.
  • the inserted loaf of bread is advanced by means of the feed device 1 in the insertion area 13 in the direction of the cutting device.
  • FIGS. 4a and 4b show, by way of example, the bread slicer 10 in a position in the cutting operation.
  • the sliding block 8 is guided downward in the slotted guide 18 in the region of a first inclined ramp R1, whereby the sliced product holder 3 is pivoted forward and the prongs 5 are pushed through the opening 4 in the advancing element 2 penetrate into the adjacent to the feed element 2 loaf and hold this.
  • Due to the shallow inclination of the slotted guide 18 in the region of the ramp R1 sufficiently large torques can be introduced into the sliced product holder 3 over a certain distance, so that the prongs 5 also reliably penetrate into the loaf of bread with hard crust slices.
  • Figures 5a and 5b illustrate analogous to Figures 3a and 3b, the position of the lever 7 and the tines 5 in the holding position.
  • a sensor device may be provided which activates the cutting device only when the loaf with its front end reaches the cutting device.
  • the advancing element 2 - as can be seen from the end position E shown in Figures 6a and 6b - moved out of the insertion area 13, while the sliding block 8 in the slide guide 18 in the region of a second inclined ramp R2 again led upwards and the Schneidguthalter 3 is opened.
  • the slope of the second ramp R2 is greater than that of the first ramp R1, since the moment or the force when removing the tines 5 from the loaf is smaller than when penetrating.
  • the bread can remain fixed as long as possible with fully penetrated tines 5 and start the release process as late as possible, so that the remaining piece is minimized in size. It is understood that the cutting device stops automatically as soon as the feed device moves into the cutting plane of the cutting member.
