Definitions
- the invention relates to a vehicle for beach cleaning according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a vehicle is known from US-A-2976936.
- This vehicle has a garbage pick-up that is adjustable on the vehicle frame.
- This includes a receiving wedge bar and a downstream conveyor. This extends through an opening in the vehicle frame from approximately a beach surface to above a collection container suspended at the rear of the vehicle.
- a disadvantage of the known vehicle is that the garbage picked up is raised relatively far above the ground, as a result of which the garbage can be removed from the garbage collector or conveyor by environmental influences such as wind, rain or the like.
- Another disadvantage is that the volume of the collecting container is relatively small, so that beach cleaning often has to be interrupted in order to empty the collecting container in a waste transfer station. This leads to an increased workload and an extension of the work involved in beach cleaning.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a versatile vehicle of the type mentioned, which is improved in particular with regard to refuse collection and the period of use.
- the garbage collector and the conveyor are arranged below a loading area, and at the same time the collecting container can be emptied over the loading area, the garbage received is transferred to the collecting container in a relatively protected manner.
- a separation of sand and waste takes place both on the waste collector and on the associated elevator. Due to the detachable arrangement of the garbage pickup below the loading area, it can be easily removed and exchanged for another garbage pickup.
- a waste pick-up can be attached to the vehicle with a different receiving wedge strip and / or another elevator.
- the arrangement of the garbage collector below the loading area means that it can also be used for a wide range of applications.
- the loading area can in particular also serve to hold the waste collected in the collecting container. This significantly increases the vehicle's service life. Since the collecting container is arranged at the rear of the vehicle, it is easily accessible in this position and can also be used as a storage area for other objects if the vehicle is to be used for other municipal tasks than for beach cleaning.
- a further vehicle that can only be used for beach cleaning is known.
- This vehicle has a horizontal pick-up roller arranged on the front of the vehicle, which picks up the contaminants and feeds them to a barrel-shaped drum screen via a narrowed, slippery feed.
- the pick-up roller and the drum screen are pivotably mounted on the vehicle frame between an operating position touching the ground and a standby position raised from the ground by means of an actuating cylinder. From the drum sieve, the garbage is transported to an elevator through an opening in the frame transferred to the frame of the collecting container parked at the rear of the vehicle.
- a self-picking sweeper is known from DE-A-894399. Gutter brooms and a downstream broom belt with brooms are arranged below the vehicle frame of this sweeper. This transfers the garbage between the rear wheels to a garbage scoop, the brooms conveying the garbage along the garbage scoop to a filling container. This can be emptied on an inclined level, which is arranged within a collecting container.
- the collecting container is mounted on the vehicle frame and can be pivoted about a pivot axis at the end of the vehicle frame in order to empty the inclined plane.
- the use of the vehicle is not limited to beach cleaning by the garbage pick-up which is adjustable and / or pivotably mounted on the frame.
- the vehicle can also be used as a tractor in road traffic when the garbage collector is swung off the ground. This results in a variable work assignment, especially for municipal work.
- Various attachments can be detachably attached to the front and rear of the vehicle, such as disc mowers, motor mowers, bar mowers, mulchers, sweepers, rotary brushes for cleaning posts and guardrails, snow plows, salt spreaders, fertilizer spreaders, scarifiers or the like.
- the vehicle can have add-on devices such as special inserts for transporting beach chairs, water containers or the like.
- a coordination between the width of the garbage pickup and the width of the median strip is important insofar as the entire garbage deposited in the median strip can be picked up and transported away.
- penetration into a sand-shaped floor and thus also picking up of garbage pressed into the floor is possible.
- Varying the working depth using the actuator can also be used to remove objects that are deeper into the soil.
- protection claims 9 and 10 are advantageous in that the waste can be largely separated from the carried soil material with the aid of the conveyor.
- a jog screen that rises to the rear prevents the garbage from jumping off or sliding as a result of the conveying movement of the screen.
- finishers can be provided on the rear of the collecting container and / or on the vehicle frame for smoothing the cleaned sand and for a certain compensation of troughs and holes.
- claims 15 and 16 enable a targeted depositing of the garbage received in the collecting container, as well as a versatile use of the vehicle, e.g. for transporting building materials, soil, gardening items or the like ..
- the lane cleaning device can have a number of cleaning elements which can be quickly mounted and converted on the vehicle with the aid of a common carrier.
- cleaning elements can be designed such that they can be lowered into an operating position and raised into a standby position by means of actuating devices.
- the features of claim 18 are also advantageous since, e.g. in the case of uneven terrain, the cleaning elements cannot penetrate too deeply into the floor and, if necessary, their damage is prevented with the aid of the sliding shoes supported flat on the floor.
- Plate-shaped sliding shoes also allow sliding in all horizontal directions. Such shock absorption of the cleaning elements by means of the sliding shoes increases the durability and thus the service life of the cleaning elements, in particular when cleaning hilly terrain.
- the sliding shoes can be height-adjustable with respect to the depth of engagement of the cleaning elements, as a result of which there is extensive adaptation to the nature of the floor to be cleaned.
- the vehicle can be converted to other areas of application without great expenditure of time, by simple manipulations and without special specialist knowledge guaranteed. This increases the variability and flexibility of the commercial vehicle.
- a self-propelled commercial vehicle for beach cleaning 1 is shown in its operating position.
- the commercial vehicle 1 has a front axle 2 and a rear axle 3, on which a vehicle frame 4 is spring-mounted.
- the ends of the axles are each equipped with at least one vehicle wheel 5.
- Above the front axle 2 is a conventionally constructed drive motor 6, which acts on one or both axles, e.g. B. a hydraulic drive is provided, which can also drive other devices installed on the vehicle.
- the front part of the vehicle, in particular above the front axle 2, is surrounded by a driver's cab 7, while the part of the commercial vehicle 1 downstream of the driver's cab 7 has a tiltable loading area 8.
- the vehicle frame 4 consists of a front, 4a, middle, 4b and rear section 4c.
- the central section 4b has a central rectangular opening 9, which is delimited by two spaced-apart cross members 10 extending transversely to the vehicle longitudinal direction and by two spaced-apart longitudinal members 11 extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction, the ends of which are each connected to the cross members.
- a waste pickup 12 is adjustably mounted in the opening 9 and can be pivoted from an operating position touching the floor 13 (see FIG. 1) into a standby position raised from the floor (see FIG. 7) and vice versa.
- the front and rear crossbeams 10a, 10b have an identical length which exceeds the width 12a of the garbage collector 12 in such a way that the garbage collector 12 and the longitudinal beams 11 are on both sides there is an approximately equally large game 14 (see FIG. 2).
- the length of both longitudinal wheels and thus the clear distance between the cross members 10 corresponds approximately to the length 12b of the garbage collector.
- the front section 4a of the vehicle frame has two spaced-apart front axle longitudinal members 15 which extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, which are arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal axle 1a of the vehicle and whose rear ends 15a are connected at the end to the front cross member 10a.
- the rear section 4c of the frame also has two rear axle longitudinal members 16 which are spaced apart from one another and extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction, which are likewise arranged symmetrically to the vehicle longitudinal axle 1a and whose front ends 16a are connected to the rear cross member 10b. 2, the distances between the front and rear axle side members 15, 16 each have a different dimension. With regard to the front axle side members 15, their clear distance results from the length of the cross members 10 reduced by about twice the width of the vehicle wheels 5.
- the front ends of the front axle side members 15 are connected to one another by means of a front member 17, the length of which is approximately the clear distance of the front Axle longitudinal beam 15 corresponds to each other.
- a mounting plate 18 is also attached, which can also be designed as a bumper and can accommodate, for example, the vehicle headlights (not shown).
- the vehicle frame 4 is angled at an angle to the rear of the vehicle 1b in its central section 4b, ie in the region of the opening 9, so that the rear cross member 10b has a smaller ground clearance than the front cross member 10a.
- the inclination of the middle frame section 4b is chosen so that the difference between the cross member-floor distances corresponds approximately to the height 12c of the garbage collector and the floor distance of the rear cross member 10b is at least as large as the floor distance of the rear axle 3.
- the front ends 16a of the rear Axle side members 16 are angled at an angle to the rear cross member 10b in such a way that the break point is arranged upstream of the rear axle 3 and the section of the rear axle side members 16 downstream of the break point is arranged approximately horizontally.
- a lane cleaning device 20 for example driven by the drive motor 6, is provided, which conveys the garbage in the lane to the center of the vehicle 1d, so that the garbage 21 is transferred to a median strip 22 located under the commercial vehicle 1.
- the lane cleaning device 20 has a separate cleaning element 23 for each lane, which is attached to the front 1c of the vehicle via a common carrier 24.
- the carrier 24 extends transversely to the direction of travel in the horizontal direction and has pivot axes 24a at its ends, on which the cleaning elements 23 are pivotably mounted in the vertical direction.
- An actuating device 25 is provided between the common carrier 24 and the cleaning element 23, with the aid of which the cleaning elements can be transferred individually or separately from an operating position touching the floor 13 to a standby position raised from the floor and vice versa.
- 2 shows in particular as rotor rake 23a trained cleaning elements 23, each having a vertical axis of rotation 23b and driven in opposite directions.
- the rotor swather arranged on the left in the direction of travel has a clockwise direction of rotation, and the rotor swather arranged on the right in the direction of travel has an opposite direction of rotation in the clockwise direction.
- the rotor rake 23a consists of circular swath rakes which have a diameter which corresponds at least to the width of the lane.
- height-adjustable sliding shoes 26 are attached to the cleaning elements 23. These are plate-shaped and arranged outside the working area of the circular swath rake or in the area of the axis of rotation 23b (see FIG. 3).
- the circular swath rakes are provided with tines 23d, which have a kink in their longitudinal axis pointing against the direction of rotation (not shown in detail). As a result, the tines are dragging at an angle to the ground 13.
- the tine height can be varied within wide limits and is up to 0.5m.
- the circular swath rakes can be pivoted with the aid of a control, for example a gate control, from an operating position touching the floor 13 to a standby position raised from the floor and vice versa during a 360 ° rotation.
- a control for example a gate control
- the control system is designed so that the circular swath rakes located in the rear part of the rotor swather pointing towards the vehicle are raised, while those in the front part of the Rotor swathers located circular swath rakes are set to the ground.
- each cleaning element 23 is provided with a protective hood 23e, which can also be designed like a diffuser, ie with an aerodynamic delivery channel (not shown in more detail).
- the outward opening of the conveying channel is oriented toward the center of the vehicle and opens, as tangentially as possible, into the median strip 22.
- FIGS. 4 to 6 Another embodiment of the lane cleaning device 20 is shown in FIGS. 4 to 6.
- the lane cleaning device 20 is designed as an oppositely coiled worm 27 with a worm axis 27a running horizontally and transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. It is possible to design the auger over the entire width of the vehicle and to provide it with opposing coils, or to provide a separate coil in each lane (see FIG. 4) which conveys the garbage from the outside of the lane to the median strip located under the vehicle. To achieve this purpose, the direction of rotation of the screw must be selected accordingly.
- the worm 27 is arranged directly upstream of the vehicle wheel 5 and is provided with a protective hood 27b for the purpose of specifically promoting the waste.
- a screw comb 27c running on the screw has tines 27d, which can be adjusted with the help of a control device (not shown) in its longitudinal direction or transversely thereto from an operating position to a standby position and vice versa during a 360 ° rotation.
- the control device is like this formed that the tines 27d are retracted in the upward-pointing section of the screw 27 towards the screw axis 27a, while they are displaced radially outwards in the screw half facing the bottom in the direction of the bottom 13 and in the direction of the waste to be conveyed. In the lower half of the screw facing the bottom 13 there is therefore first a radially outward movement (see arrow A in FIGS.
- the lane cleaning device is designed as a screw, an actuating device can be provided, with the aid of which the distance of the screw 27 from the floor 13 or its depth of penetration into the floor can be adjusted and varied.

- the depth of penetration of the receiving wedge strip 31 is several cm, preferably about 5 cm.
- the front deflection axis 32a is arranged close to the ground and the rear deflection axis 32b is arranged away from the ground, the latter being arranged above the rear cross member 10b and / or above the rear axle 3 of the vehicle.
- the elevator 32 has an upper and lower run extending between the deflection axes 32a, 32b, the direction of rotation of the deflection axes being selected such that the upper run runs to the rear and the lower run runs to the front.
- the direction of rotation of the elevator 32 in FIG. 1 thus corresponds to the clockwise direction.
- the elevator 32 can be designed very differently, preferably as a conveyor belt, scraper floor, rake or link belt.
- the circumferential strand can have a surface coating or a specially designed gripper that a allow safe gripping, picking up and transporting of the garbage.
- At least one of the deflection axes, preferably the upper deflection axis 32b, is designed as a drive axis and is driven via the drive motor 6 or a separately provided motor.
- the lateral ends of the upper deflection axis 32b are rotatably mounted in a respective support arm 33 supported on the longitudinal beam 11.

- the conveyor belt is conventionally provided with two deflection axes, at least one of which is driven. In order to prevent the garbage from rolling down from the garbage collector 12 and the conveyor device 36, these can be provided with side collecting plates (not shown).
- a transfer bar 36c made of rubber is provided, with the aid of which the waste is introduced into the collecting container 37.
- a baffle plate 38 is arranged between the conveyor device 36 and the rear axle 3 and can be moved in the direction of conveyance of the vibrating screen 36b (see FIG. 1).
- the collecting container 37 is held on the vehicle frame 4 or on the loading surface 8 with the aid of two lateral links 40. 1, 2, 7 to 9, each link 40 is rotatably supported at one end via a horizontal pivot axis 41 on the loading surface 8 and at the other end likewise via a horizontal pivot axis 42 on the collecting container 37.
- Each link 40 is assigned an actuator 43, for example a piston-cylinder unit, one end of which is detachably held by a side wall of the loading surface 8 and the other end of which is detachably held by a pivoting arm 40a attached to the links 40.
- the collecting container 37 is preferably designed as a tipping trough, the pivot axes 42 being arranged upstream of the center of gravity of the collecting container 37.
- stops 44, 45 are provided on the side walls of the collecting container, which limit the pivoting path of the rear end of the pivot axis 42 downstream.
- the collection container is automatically emptied by tipping over the loading area 8 (FIG. 7).
- a further actuator can be provided between the lateral links 40 and the collection container 37, which allows the collection container 37 to be tilted independently of a pivoting of the handlebars. Emptying of the collecting container is thus also possible in the position shown in FIG. 1.
- the rear wall 37a of the collecting container is inclined in such a way that the rear wall 37a and bottom 13 are arranged approximately parallel to one another in a garbage receiving position of the collecting container which is open towards the rear.
- the collecting container has a fill level indicator which interacts with a display device (not shown) arranged in the driver's cab 7 and which informs the driver of a filled collecting container.
- a finisher 46 resting on the floor 13 is pivotably articulated by means of a holding plate 47 fastened to the collecting container at the rear of the collecting container 37.
- the finisher can also on another part of the vehicle, especially the rear wheels arranged downstream, preferably on the vehicle frame 4.
