Definitions
- the invention relates to a ski boot according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages of the known design and to create a ski boot which allows the sole extension to pivot relative to the rest of the shoe sole.
- this object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of this claim.
- the two webs make such a deformation of the extension possible that the bending of the extension is not impaired during a cross-country step.
- the measure of claim 2 specifies the direction of the deformation in a cross-country skiing step.
- the number 1 denotes a ski on which a ski boot 2 is to be pivotably mounted.
- the ski boot 2 has a sole 2a and a tip 2b.
- the number 3 denotes a hooking element which is approximately O-shaped in a side view. In the normal position, the hooking bar 3a of this hooking element 3 runs at least approximately perpendicular to the upper side of the ski 1.
- the lower web 3b of the hooking element 3 consists of elastic material, such as rubber, plastic or the like, and is connected to the shoe sole 2a. Furthermore, the hooking element 3 is connected to the toe 2b by an upper web 3d, which is also made of elastic material.
- the ski binding itself consists of two parts, namely a bearing block 4 with a receiving part for the hooking element 3 and a locking element 5.
- the bearing block 4 is screwed to the top of the ski 1 by means of screws (not shown) and is approximately fork-shaped in plan view.
- a compression spring 6 is anchored in a bore of the bearing block 4, the other end of which rests on one leg 5a of the locking element 5.
- the latter is pivotally mounted on an axis 7 in the bearing block 4.
- the receiving part of the bearing block 4 has two side walls 4c, which carry guide strips 4d1, 4d2 for the hooking bar 3a on their inner sides.
- the locking element 5 is designed as a three-armed lever, of which one leg 5a, as already explained, serves to attack the compression spring 6 or to release the ski binding and has a depression 5e which is intended for inserting the tip of a ski pole is.
- the second leg 5b carries the locking lug 5c, and the third leg 5g is designed as a spur which engages under the shoe sole 2a.
- the toe 2b and with it the ski boot 2 are pivoted counterclockwise.
- the hooking bar 3a is held by the guide bars 4d1, 4d2 of the receiving part in the bearing block 4 with the help of the locking lug 5c of the locking element.
- the two webs 3b and 3d of the hooking element 3 are elastically deformed by pivoting the foot counterclockwise. The pivoting of the shoe 2 can be done until the shoe tip 2b abuts the rear guide strips 4d2. After the end of the cross-country skiing step, the ski boot 2 returns to the position shown.
- the tip of a ski pole is inserted into the recess 5e of the locking element 5, so that the locking element is pivoted counterclockwise.
- the compression spring 6 is compressed somewhat, and the catch 5c is pulled out of the recess of the hooking bar 3a.
- the ski boot 2 can now be removed from the bearing block 4 together with the hooking element 3. Since the spur 5g is also pivoted upwards when the locking element 5 is pivoted, the alighting process is relatively simple.
- the hooking bar 3a When you start with the ski boot 2, the hooking bar 3a is inserted in the vertical direction between the guide bars 4d1, 4d2 of the locking element 5. At the same time, the locking element 5 is pivoted counterclockwise with the tip of the ski pole. As soon as the web 3b of the hooking element 3 has come to rest on the spur 5g, the locking element 5 is pivoted clockwise, the nose 5c engaging in the recess in the hooking bar 3a.
- the hooking element of the ski boot does not have to be O-shaped. Rather, its design as a rectangular frame - seen in side view - is quite possible.
- the ski boot according to the invention can be used not only for cross-country skiing, but also for so-called touring.
