Definitions

  • the invention relates to a warp knitted brief or a warp knitted tights part with a V-shaped view in use, consisting of a crotch or gusset part, which covers the entire perspiration area in one piece, and two essentially constant width side bands, each of which ends at the crotch. or connect gusset.
  • the object of the invention is to reduce the production costs for panties of the type mentioned without sacrificing the pleasant portability and the fashionable effect by providing novel products and processes.
  • the solution to this consists in warp knitted briefs or warp knitted tights parts of the type mentioned, in which a crotch or gusset part and the sidebands are knitted together or interlocked with each other at least at one of their connecting points.
  • Such a design which can be achieved by various manufacturing processes, makes at least one of the sewing processes for connecting the side straps to the crotch part unnecessary, so that at least 50% of the wage costs incurred in the case of the panties according to the prior art for the finished assembly can be saved.
  • the crotch or gusset part is knitted together in one piece with the two side bands on the front or on the back of the pants and sewn together on the opposite side.
  • the transition from the crotch part to the sidebands can be fashioned in various ways.
  • the two side bands merge into a common band of double width shortly before their free end, so that only a single continuous sewing process is required to complete the panties according to the invention.
  • the crotch part with the two side bands on the front and on the back interacted integrally in a slip according to the invention so that the side bands no longer have free ends and no sewing operations are required.
  • the material of the two sidebands can merge into a uniform strip before the transition to the crotch part, followed by the differently structured material of the crotch part after a short length. This creates an uninterrupted transition line.
  • the length of the combined area of the sidebands is generally greater on the front of the panties than on the back.
  • a method according to the invention for the production of warp-knitted briefs of the first-mentioned type is characterized in that, in a single-face mode of operation, a crotch or gusset part and two parallel, completely or predominantly separate side bands are periodically knitted together periodically across the knitting direction.
  • This process creates a web-like intermediate product, which can be separated in subsequent processing steps transversely to the direction of action and sewn along a single line to form a closed loop that, due to the space between the two side bands, in which the body opening can be seen, is a finished product forms.
  • a suitable method for producing briefs of the second type mentioned above is characterized in that, in two-way mode of operation, one step or gusset part and two parallel, completely or predominantly separate side bands are knitted together periodically one above the other, periodically transversely to the direction of action.
  • the space between the two side bands forms the body opening, while the edges which are separated from one another in the direction of action and which become closed loops via the intermeshed connection points represent the leg openings.
  • panties can also be produced, in which the separation or seams in the area of the side bands, in particular on the hips and possibly in the middle lie in the crotch.
  • Such briefs designed in such a way can be sensibly produced according to the above-mentioned methods if structures and / or materials which differ from one another are to be used for the front part and the rear side of the briefs.
  • the crotch or gusset part consists of cotton threads with an elastic component, while the side bands designed in the manner of hole embroidery consist of synthetic material with an elastic component or elastic properties, in particular of polyamide with lycra threads. It is advantageous to design the crotch or gusset part for improved anatomical adaptation in the genital area with a longitudinal section with increased stitch density, while the area for the back is knitted with increasingly looser stitches, especially in relation to the area for the front.
  • an inventive slip 1 is shown in front view, which consists of a crotch or gusset part 2 and two attached side bands 3a, 3b, which converge to a double-wide web section 4 and connect to the crotch part at a connection point 5.
  • the side bands 3 and the connecting section 4 serve decorative purposes.
  • Fig. 2 the slip 1 according to the invention is again shown recognizable from the crotch part 2 and the side bands 3a, 3b, which remain essentially separated here and just abut each other at a connection point 6 between the crotch part 2 and the side bands 3, so that a continuous seam or separation point between side bands 3 and crotch part 2 arises.
  • a slip according to the invention is shown on the left in front and on the right in rear view. While the front view essentially corresponds to the representation of the brief from FIGS. 1 and 2, in the rear view, deviating therefrom, corresponding to the connected area of the side bands on the front side, a connected area 7 of the side bands is shown on the back side, which is essentially straight Junction 6 passes into step 2.
  • FIG. 4 shows a slip according to the invention in front view on the left and in rear view on the right.
  • the sidebands 3 connect individually and independently of one another to the crotch part 2, which has a V-shaped arrowed connection area 8.
  • the back of this embodiment according to the design of the panties according to FIGS. 1 and 2, shows a substantial separation of the side bands 3 without a pronounced common area.
  • the section 5 shows a single-track web material, which is composed of periodically adjoining sections 9 for step parts and 10 for sidebands.
  • the sections 9 have an asymmetrically arranged narrow point 11 which is made with a narrower mesh size in order to adapt anatomically to the crotch area in the narrower sense.
  • the sections 10, which are made with a decorative pattern, have a longitudinally asymmetrical separating slot 12, which allows the two side bands 3a, 3b and their common section 4 of double width to be created.
  • the web sections can each be separated from a first section 9 and a second section 10, so that the half separation point sections 13 can then be sewn together to form a finished slip.
  • FIG. 6 shows a single-track web material which essentially corresponds to that according to FIG. 5.
  • the sections 9, however, have V-shaped connection areas 8, to which the slots 12 of the web sections 10, which form the side bands 3a, 3b, directly adjoin the.
  • the sidebands thus each form a separate transition point 14a, 14b, which are, however, continuously knitted, since the separating points 13, which are again marked with arrows, are provided elsewhere according to this embodiment.
  • the area of the V-shaped transitions 8 represents the front of briefs according to the invention, which are finished after the separation at the points marked by arrows and the sewing of the respective half separation points 13 on the back.
  • Fig. 7 double-contoured material is shown, the upper layer of which corresponds identically to the sections 10 in the embodiment according to Fig. 5, in particular in the longitudinal direction to the separation points 13 have asymmetrical slots 12, through which side bands 3a, 3b and transition areas 4 are formed, while the lower layer shown in broken lines corresponds identically to sections 9 in the embodiment according to FIG. 5.
  • the advantage of this method of manufacture is that the two layers can be made from different materials adapted to the intended use and that after the interlocking and separating areas 13 have been severed, completely finished briefs according to the invention are produced which do not require any reworking.
  • FIG. 8 shows double-contour material, in which the upper layer essentially corresponds to the sections 10 according to the embodiment according to FIG. 6, in particular has a slot 12 reaching up to a V-shaped transition region 8, while the lower layer essentially corresponds to the 6 corresponds to sections 9 of the web material.
  • the V-shaped area 8 is separated from the rest of the step part 9 by a half separating point 13, which forms a seam, and thus consists of a different material in the embodiment shown here.
  • the straps are thereby shortened compared to the crotch part.
  • the V-shaped arrowed area could also be placed in the lower position, so that the bands would be extended compared to the crotch part. This would create seams in the course of the tapes.
