Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for winding a coil body with the aid of a wire guide tube, which carries out traversing movements around the connection pins for winding wire ends onto connection pins of the coil body, and for severing the wire pieces projecting from the connection pins with the aid of a separating device.
- one of several wire guide tubes is held on a guide body which can be moved in three degrees of freedom with respect to a coil former on a winding spindle.
- the wire guide tube leads the wire to be wound up from a previously already wound coil to a first terminal pin of the coil former now to be wound and winds the wire there; subsequently the wire section between the first connection pin and the already wound coil is cut off with the aid of a separating device. Then, with the help of the wire guide tube, the bobbin is first wound and then the wire is wound on a second connecting pin of the bobbin.
- a wire to be applied to a bobbin by means of a wire guide tube is first wound onto auxiliary pins which are arranged on a winding spindle which receives the bobbin to be wound; a winding of the wire on connection pins of the coil former is not provided.
- the wire pieces protruding from the auxiliary pins are separated by a separating device which is separate from the wire guide tube and consists of two concentrically and form-fitting sleeves, each with a longitudinal slot.
- the wire pieces of the wire introduced into the longitudinal slots are separated by a rotary movement of one sleeve relative to the other sleeve.
- a device which consists of an elongated nozzle, a catch hook and a cutting sleeve. After winding of a coil by means of a wire guide tube has been completed, this device is brought up to the wire fixed by the wire guide tube at a clamping point, the wire is gripped and cut off by means of the cutting sleeve concentrically surrounding the nozzle; the wire is then wound around a connector pin of the coil by the nozzle and the end of the wire is pressed onto the connector pin. The winding of the coil and the winding of the wire on connection pins are therefore carried out with the aid of different tools.
- a sleeve is known in a device for winding a coil former, which is put over an already wound connecting pin.
- the sleeve compresses the turns of the wire and a cutting edge formed on the sleeve cuts off the protruding end.
- DE-B 2 710 551 shows a winding sleeve, which is likewise slipped over a connecting pin, but with the aid of a gripping hook forming an integral part of the winding sleeve, grips the wire held by a clamp and winds it around the connecting pin by rotary movement. A separation of the wire is not carried out by this winding sleeve, but the entire wire section stretched between the connecting pin and the terminal is wound around the connecting pin.
- the invention has for its object to simplify the winding of the coil and the winding of the wire to the pins in connection with the cutting of the wire in terms of apparatus and to reduce the total time required for these processes.
- the separating device has a sleeve with a cutting edge, that the sleeve is concentrically arranged on the wire guide tube and that the wire guide tube has a cutting support for supporting an outside of the wire guide tube against it Has longitudinally inclined wire.
- the device according to the invention has the advantage that only a single tool is required for all winding processes of a coil. In the known devices, necessary movements in the phase of the tool change are avoided. In addition, the device according to the invention can be used both in the case of coil formers with radial as well as those with axial connection pins.
- the sleeve is arranged outside the wire guide tube and the cutting support is formed on the outside of the jacket of the wire guide tube, the end of the wire is cut so close to the connecting pin that it does not stick out and there is no pressure.
- the tightening of the wire during the cutting process is facilitated if the cutting support is located between the outlet opening of the wire guide tube and the cutting edge of the sleeve, the part of the sleeve facing the outlet opening being designed as a cutting edge.
- the stroke of the sleeve is kept as short as possible in that the cutting support and the cutting edge are located in the region of the outlet opening.
- the cutting edge of the sleeve In order to achieve a clean and safe cut, it is advantageous to form the cutting edge of the sleeve in a form-fitting manner with the wire guide tube. In order to prevent injury to the wire wound on the connecting pins and the wire protruding from the wire guide tube during the cutting process, the cutting edge should be designed in the manner of a tongue and protrude beyond the end of the sleeve.
- the wire to be cut is reliably guided with the aid of a simple measure if the wire guide tube has a groove or notch that runs at an angle to its longitudinal axis has like recess whose wall closest to the outlet opening is designed as a cutting support.
- the recess is so deep that it extends at least approximately to the center of the wire guide tube, this again benefits from a clean cut.
- the jamming of the wire in the jacket of the wire guide tube is prevented if stops for the wire to be separated are formed in the recess, which stops consist of jacket sections of the wire guide tube standing vertically on the cutting support.
- the function of the recess can, however, also be realized by a projection which is molded onto the wire guide tube as a cutting support.
- the cutting pad or sharp boundary edges thereof can also be used to tear a wire section stretched between a deflection point and the wire guide tube. This is done by corresponding movements of the wire guide tube directed against the wire section; the cutting sleeve does not move relative to the wire guide tube. Tearing of wires is sometimes preferred over cutting them, especially with very thin wires.
- the winding station shown in detail in FIG. 1 is equipped with a wire guide tube 1. It has a concentric sleeve 2 with a cutting edge 3.
- a triaxial laying and winding system ensures the positioning of the wire guide tube 1 and the sleeve 2 surrounding it.
- a wire 4 is first picked up by a clamping device 5. Via a deflection pin 6, the wire 4 is guided by means of the wire guide tube 1 to a connecting pin 7a of a coil former 8 and wound around the connecting pin 7a.
- the wire guide tube 1 is brought as close as possible to the connecting pin 7a from the position I, in which the wire 4 stretched between the connecting pin 7a and the deflecting pin 6 comes to lie in the recess 9.
- the wire end protruding from the connecting pin 7a is then at most 1 mm, as a result of which the consumption of solder during later soldering or the quality of the soldering is influenced in a favorable manner.
- the sleeve 2 is moved down with the cutting edge 3 and the wire 4 is cut off.
- the cutting edge 3 is formed in a tongue-like manner on the sleeve 2 and comprises only part of the circumference of the wire guide tube 1, so that the wire 4 projecting from an outlet opening 10 of the wire guide tube 1 is not damaged or even cut off during the separation process.
- the stroke of the sleeve 2 is also limited accordingly.
- the wire guide tube 1 is then moved to the coil former 8. It is wound in a conventional manner. Then the wire 4 is wound around the second pin 7b by means of the wire guide tube 1. After driving around an auxiliary pin 11, the wire guide tube 1 reaches position II. The wire guide tube 1 with the sleeve 2 is shown in this position by dash-dotted lines. The wire 4 leading away from the second pin 7b is cut off in the same way as in the first pin 7a. This completes one winding process and the next begins with the movement of the wire guide tube 1 to the clamping device 5 and the fixing of the wire 4.
- the parts of the wire guide tube 1 and the sleeve 2 which are important for the cutting process are explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3.
- the recess 9 is located near the outlet opening 10.
- the wire 4 to be separated comes to lie in this after suitable movement movements of the wire guide tube 1.
- a cutting support 12 and a stop surface 13 ensure a defined position of the wire 4. To fix it better, it should be slightly tensioned.
- the movement of the sleeve 2 in the direction of the outlet opening 10 causes the wire 4 to be cut through by the cutting edge 3, which is integrally formed on the sleeve 2.
- the invention also includes other functionally identical variations in the design of the wire guide tube and the sleeve with cutting edge. So it would be easily possible to accommodate the sleeve with cutting edge within the wire guide tube without changing the course of the wire cutting process.
- a corresponding arrangement of cutting support and cutting edge also makes it possible to cut the wire with the sleeve extended beyond the wire guide tube with the sleeve moving in the opposite direction.
- the recess in the wire guide tube could then be omitted, the outlet opening could serve as a cutting support, and a recess with a cutting edge would have to be provided in the part of the sleeve protruding beyond the wire guide tube.
- the wire run-out is then no longer carried out via the wire guide tube, but is extended by the protruding part of the sleeve and is shortened during the cutting process by the movement of the sleeve, which may loosen the tension of the laid wire.
