Claims (9)

1. Châssis pour wagons ferroviaires de marchandises
a) sans caisse de wagon rigide en torsion, comprenant au moins
b) des longerons extérieurs (1 ou 8) et
c) des traverses (4), placées de manière fixe entre ceux-ci ainsi que
d) au moins une poutre creuse (2 ou 9) supplémentaire, placée entre les longerons extérieurs (I ou 8) dans la direction transversale du wagon et
e) cette poutre creuse étant reliée fixe en torsion aux longerons extérieurs (1 ou 8)
caractérisé en ce que
f) le système, ne comprenant pas encore les poutres creuses, constitué de longerons extérieurs (1 ou 8) et des traverses (4), placées de manière fixe entre ceux-ci, présente une rigidité en torsion si faible que cette rigidité en torsion est encore trop faible en soi pour le châssis,
g) en ce que la rigidité en torsion du châssis souhaitée et nécessaire, est atteinte en ce que chacune des poutres creuses (2 ou 9) est pourvue d'une rigidité en torsion spécialement définie de manière que cette rigidité en torsion détermine celle de l'ensemble du châssis et donc du wagon de marchandises et
h) en ce que des ouvertures (3), pratiquées sur la face inférieure des poutres creuses, déterminent, par leur forme et leurs dimensions, ou les sections transversales des poutres creuses, ou l'épaisseur de paroi des poutres creuses ou plusieurs de ces paramètres déterminent ensemble la valeur de la rigidité en torsion des poutres creuses (2 ou 9).
2. Châssis selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la poutre creuse (2) est en forme de caisson, de section transversale rectangulaire et se présente sous la forme d'un élément de construction intégré dans les traverses (4), pour transmettre les efforts verticaux.
3. Châssis selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la poutre creuse (9) est tubulaire, de section transversale ronde.
4. Châssis selon les revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la poutre creuse (2 ou 9) est disposée au milieu du wagon dans le sens de la longueur ou en ce que plusieurs poutres creuses (2 ou 9) sont disposées de part et d'autre du milieu du wagon, dans le sens de la longueur, symétriquement à celui-ci ou au milieu du wagon dans le sens de la longueur et de part et d'autre et symétriquement à celui-ci.
5. Châssis selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte deux essieux.
6. Châssis selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que les poutres creuses (2 ou 9) sont soudées frontalement, sur tout leur pourtour, sur des surfaces latérales des longerons (1 ou 8).
7. Châssis selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que sa longueur, mesurée sur les tampons, est supérieure à 13 mètres.
8. Châssis selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte sur chacune des deux faces frontales, deux tampons latéraux, disposés symétriquement par rapport à sa ligne médiane longitudinale, s'étendant dans la direction de la marche.
9. Châssis selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que l'écartement latéral des longerons (1 ou 8) est au moins égal à l'écartement latéral des tampons latéraux.
