Claims (8)

1. Dispositif de déchiquetage de documents qui comprend un cylindre fendeur rotatif (1 ) comportant au moins une rangée de dents (2, 3) composée de dents (4, 5) de différentes hauteurs et une barre dentée (13) solidement appuyée, coopérant avec le cylindre fendeur (1) et présentant un profil correspondant à celui des dents (4, 5) du cylindre fendeur (1), caractérisé en ce que, pour les dents (4, 5) montées sur le corps de cylindre (8) du cylindre fendeur ( 1 ) et constituant la rangée de dents (2, 3), la hauteur de dents (b) des petites dents, mesurée depuis la base de la dent au niveau de la périphérie du corps de cylindre (8) est égale ou inférieure à la différence A des hauters de dents (a, b) d'une grande et d'une petite dent (4, 5).
2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la différence A des hauteurs de dents (a, b) est la même pour toutes les rangées de dents (2, 3) réparties sur le pourtour du corps de cylindre (8).
3. Dispositif selon lune des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que sur le pourtour du corps de cylindre (8) au moins quarante et, de préférence, au moins soixante rangées de dents (2, 3) sont uniformément réparties.
4. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la surface frontale des dents (4, 5) est inclinée vers l'avant dans le sens de la rotation.
5. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la hauteur de dents de la grande dent (4) est inférieure à 1 mm.
6. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le rapport entre la hauteur de dents (a) de la grande dent (4) et la hauteur de dents (b) de la petite dent (5) est au moins égal à 2,0 et, de préférence, compris entre 2,1 et 3,3.
7. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la vitesse angulaire du cylindre fendeur 1 est inférieure à 250 tours/min et de préférence inférieure à 150 tours/min.
8. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce qu'il est monté dans une enveloppe (I), cette enveloppe (I) comportant une fente d'amenée (14) orientée à peu près verticalement dont l'un des côtés est limité par une surface d'appui à l'extrémité intérieure de laquelle se raccorde la barre dentée (13).
