Claims (4)

1. Métier à tisser du tissu éponge comprenant un dispositif (44) de maintien de la largeur s'étendant dans le sens de la trame entre le peigne (38) et la poitrinière (46), le tissu (84) étant alors décalé périodiquement par rapport à l'emplacement de butée du peigne par le mouvement de la poitrinière (46) et du dispositif (44) de maintien de largeur et le métier à tisser du tissu éponge étant muni d'un dispositif pour former une arête de mise en place, caractérisé en ce que, entre le peigne (38) et le dispositif (44) de maintien de la largeur pour les fils (80, 82) de chaîne de bord se trouvant dans la position de foule haute et/ou basse, on prévoit un dispositif de déviation (72, 102) fixe rétrécissant la foule (100) par réception des fils (80, 82) de chaîne de bord dans une fente (78,116), de façon telle que l'extrémité d'insertion (92) du fil de trame (86) arrêté par le peigne (38) soit maintenue à la manière d'une pince entre les fils (80, 82) de chaîne de bord.
2. Métier à tisser du tissu éponge selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de déviation (72) présente une plaque de guidage (76) comportant la fente (78).
3. Métier à tisser du tissu éponge selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de déviation (102) est muni de plaquettes déplaçables formant la fente (116).
4. Métier à tisser du tissu éponge selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de déviation (102) est réalisé avec une échelle (118) du type pied à coulisse.
