Definitions
- the invention relates to insulating boards made of polystyrene foam for the thermal insulation of the outer walls of buildings, with a residual shrinkage of 1 to 4 mm / m, at least one of the board surfaces having grooves, and a thermally insulated facade made of such insulating boards, which are attached to the facade with their smooth sides and have a coating of synthetic resin-modified mineral plaster on the grooved sides.
- the insulation boards consist of grooved polystyrene foam sheets that are used when there is still a post-shrinkage of at least 1 mm / m and the mortar used should have a plastic content of less than 5 percent by weight, preferably 1.5 to 3 percent by weight plastic, whereby in a glass silk fabric is embedded in the mortar.
- Such facades are using hard foam panels with a thickness of max. 100 mm and a density of up to a minimum of 20 kg / m 3 , whereby a glass silk fabric is usually embedded in the mortar.
- a glass silk fabric must be used for thicker panels with a thickness of more than 130 mm.
- Such reinforcement inserts are expensive and costly in terms of materials. Due to the increasing increase in energy costs, larger panel thicknesses of up to 150 mm and more are required for better insulation. In the known method, even when using reinforcing inserts with plate thicknesses of over 100 mm, adhesion problems have occasionally arisen.
- thermal insulation board which consists of an insulating layer made of rigid polystyrene foam and a protective layer reinforced with glass fiber mesh, the protective layer consisting of a single-layer mortar with various additives.
- the improvement in the adhesive strength of the one-layer mortar on the insulation layer can be achieved by grooves arranged in the surface thereof.
- a plaster base insulation panel made of expandable polystyrene which has dovetail-shaped recesses which run diagonally on both sides and is provided on the long side with tongue and groove and on the narrow side with a step fold.
- the object of the invention is to improve an insulation board according to the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that reinforcement inserts, such as glass fiber fabric, can be dispensed with, even with larger board thicknesses, and nevertheless problem-free adhesion of the plaster is guaranteed, and a thermally insulated facade using the new one To specify insulation boards which, with high insulation properties, ensure great strength and durability and thus a longer service life.
- reinforcement inserts such as glass fiber fabric
- an insulation board made of polystyrene foam for the thermal insulation of external walls of buildings with a residual shrinkage of 1 to 4 mm / m, with at least one of the board surfaces having grooves, in that the ratio of the board thickness in mm to the product of the groove width in mm and groove depth in mm from 5: 3 to 9: 4 is that it has a density of less than 20 kg / m 3 and that the groove spacing in the edge area is less than in the central area of the plate.
- the solution to the second part of the task is achieved by a heat-insulated facade with a number of thermal insulation boards according to the invention, which are attached to the facade with their smooth sides and which have a coating of synthetic resin-modified mineral plaster on the grooved side, in that they have mineral mineral elements that are not reinforced Plaster included and that the water vapor diffusion resistance factor of the plaster mortar is less than 50.
- the plaster preferably has a synthetic resin content of less than 2.5 percent by weight, and foamed mineral particles can also be admixed with it.
- the mineral plastering mortar has a water vapor diffusion resistance factor between 15 and 25.
- the invention is based on the principle that the known constraint stresses generated by the shrinking of the plates are used to hold the plaster on the plates, in particular with the aid of grooves filled with plaster.
- the constraint stresses must be constantly greater than the kinetic forces caused by thermal fluctuations.
- plastic resins which are suitable for use in plastering mortars for coating rigid foam panels are methyl cellulose, polymers, and copolymers of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, e.g. Styrene acrylates and vinyl acetates. Such resins are used dispersed in water alone or in combination.
- Plastering mortars with a content of such synthetic resins of less than 3 percent by weight have a vapor diffusion resistance factor ( p. ) In the range from approximately 15 to 25, while a higher proportion of these resins or the same proportion of other resins increase this factor to approximately 100 to 500.
- the difficulty mentioned can e.g. by adding foamed mineral particles, e.g. Perlite (foamed volcanic glass) to be fixed to the plastering mortar. Such an addition reduces the water vapor diffusion resistance factor.
- foamed mineral particles e.g. Perlite (foamed volcanic glass)
- the constraint effect between the plaster and the slab results in their mutual firm connection.
- the plate can be destroyed. Without shrinkage, no constraining stress is achieved. If plates with a low residual shrinkage are used, those with a low specific weight can be used, which means a significantly lower cost. Such plates have increased thermal insulation properties.
- the foam plastic for example polystyrene thermal insulation boards, are designed for use on the outer walls of buildings. They have a residual shrinkage value of between 1 and 4 mm / m, ie fresh non-deposited plates can be used, a certain thickness and two main surfaces, one of which is essentially flat and the other of which has a marginal area and a number of grooves which are more specific and substantially more uniform Has width and depth.
- the ratio of plate thickness (in mm) to the product of groove width (in mm) and groove depth (in mm) is between 5: 3 and 9: 4, preferably between 5: 3 and 2: 1.
- the number of grooves per m 2 is equal to the plate thickness in cm plus 5 to 15.
- the cross section of the grooves is square, z. B. rectangular, or dovetail-like.
- the ratio of groove width to groove depth is between 2: 1 and 1: 1 and the grooves have a smaller distance from each other in the edge area than in the middle of the plate.
- the plate 1 has grooves 2 which are undercut in the manner of a dovetail, the width of the side walls 3 being approximately half the width of the groove bottom.
- the plate 1 is reduced to half the plate thickness on two opposite edges, so that a step 5 is formed.
- Such a gradation of the plates can also be provided on the other two edges.
- the outer walls of a building are insulated by applying the plates in close contact (without steps) or overlapping the steps, with the smooth side of the plates facing the wall.
- the grooved side of the panels is then plastered with a mineral mortar that has a resin content of less than 2.5 percent by weight and a water vapor diffusion resistance Tor of less than 50, preferably between 15 and 25.
- a mineral mortar that has a resin content of less than 2.5 percent by weight and a water vapor diffusion resistance Tor of less than 50, preferably between 15 and 25.
Description
- 1. das Verhältnis von Plattenstärke zum Produkt aus Rillenbreite und Rillentiefe zwischen 5:3 und 9:4 liegt;
- Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine Hartschaum-Isolierplatte,
- Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Platte gemäss Fig. 1.
