The present invention relates to a fire-resistant, sound-absorbing, non-load-bearing, mobile partition wall composed of laterally interconnected wall elements of the same type.
In the endeavor to always be able to make the best possible use of existing building interiors and to be able to change their subdivision according to changing requirements, one is increasingly moving towards dividing the rooms with mobile partition walls, which, if necessary, relocate the fixed parts of the building in their position and if necessary can be provided with corners, doors and windows.
In order to create these possibilities, the previously known partition walls usually consist of several laterally interconnected wall elements of the same type.
While a whole series of proposals and solutions are already known for ordinary partition walls of this type, which do not have particularly high demands on the insulation, the increasing desire expressed by builders for mobile partition walls that should also be soundproof and fire-resistant is , in view of the requirements and criteria placed on such walls by authorities and standards committees, the designers are faced with extremely difficult to overcome problems. As a rule, the requirement for the sound insulation and fire resistance to be achieved can, if at all, only be met at the expense of the thickness and mobility of the walls, i.e. H. that such partition walls are not only oversized and thick, but, in view of the effort required for their creation and adjustment, can only be considered mobile to a very limited extent.
In contrast, the present invention seeks to provide a mobile partition of the type mentioned at the beginning, which can be easily and quickly installed and relocated with a comparatively modest thickness and at the same time has a high degree of fire resistance, which is significantly higher than the average.
With the fire-resistant, sound-insulating, non-load-bearing, mobile partition wall made of laterally interconnected wall elements of the same type, the wall elements consist of panel fields, each of which has a core made of mineral fiber board, which is surrounded on all sides by a frame made of non-combustible material enclosed and, with the interposition of aluminum foils, of plasterboard:
: n is covered, which are embedded in sheet steel plates, which as the outermost layer cover the entire plate field on both sides, and that each plate field has an all-round gradation on its outer edge area on both sides, which serves to accommodate and hold cover profiles, which connections of the plate field to Cover laterally adjoining panel fields and / or to the side, top and bottom adjoining existing building walls.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows:
1 is a view of a partition wall consisting of three panel fields,
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1 to illustrate the butt joint between two adjacent panel fields,
3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 1 to illustrate a solution for the lateral connection of the partition wall according to the invention to a fixed wall and FIG
FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 1 to illustrate the connections of the partition to the floor and ceiling.
The non-load-bearing mobile partition shown in FIG. 1 comprises three panel fields 1, 2 and 3, with the fields 1 and 3 being designed as edge fields for connecting the wall to existing, for example brick-built, solid building walls.
The desired length of the wall is achieved by a more or less large number of plate fields 2, which are inserted between the edge fields 1 and 3.
The structure of the individual plate fields can be seen from FIGS. A core formed from two mineral fiber boards 4 and 5 glued together is enclosed on all sides by a frame which is formed from strips 6 made of the material commercially available under the brand name VERMIPAN. VERMIPAN is a construction panel made of exfoliated material that can be processed like wood, but is practically non-combustible. This core is covered on both sides by plasterboard 7, on which an aluminum foil 8 is drawn against the mineral fiber boards 4 and 5, respectively. The plasterboard 7 are embedded in corresponding tubs each with a sheet steel plate 9 which, as the outermost layer, cover the entire panel field including the strips 6 on both sides.
In the example shown, the two mineral fiber panels 4 and 5, which form the core of the panel field, are offset from one another at their edges, so that a step 10 is formed all around. The adjacent surface of the strips 6 is also stepped accordingly. This avoids joints which penetrate the panel field in a straight line in its thickness and which could facilitate the passage of heat.
Each panel field has a step 11 running all around on both sides of its outer edge area. In the example shown, this gradation results from the fact that the plasterboard does not extend to the outer edge of the strips 6, but rather end somewhat inward of the edge.
The gradations 11 serve to accommodate, guide and hold cover profiles which, in a manner yet to be explained, conceal the connection of the individual panel fields with one another and their connections to the existing building walls, ceilings and floors.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the lateral connection of two adjacent panel fields is carried out by means of two-part supports 12 made of the same material as the frame strips 6, which receive connecting strips 14 in lateral grooves 13, which in turn are in grooves 15 of the adjacent strips 6 of the panel fields intervention. U-shaped sheet steel profiles 16 are screwed onto the open sides of these supports, onto which U-profiles 17 covering the space with the same area as the plate fields are resiliently clamped.
Against tilting, the panel fields are secured against the existing building ceiling and against the building floor on one side by angle profiles 18 and 19 below (Fig. 4), which are attached with their one leg on the floor or on the ceiling of the building and with their in the space protruding second leg protrude into the area of the gradation 11 of the plate fields. On these legs of the angle profiles 18, 19 protruding into the space, U-profiles 20 are clamped on, by means of which tolerances in the distances can be compensated and an aesthetically clean edge finish is achieved.
On the opposite side, the edge of the panel fields is terminated upwards and downwards to the ceiling or to the floor of the building by means of Z-profiles 21, onto which U-profiles 20 are clamped to compensate for tolerances.
The construction of a fire-resistant, sound-insulating, non-load-bearing, mobile partition wall with the aid of the plate fields described is carried out as follows.
Starting at an existing building wall, the angle profiles 18 and 19 are attached to the ceiling D and floor B in the direction of the desired room separation and another corresponding angle profile 22 on the existing Ge building wall W (Fig. 3). The U-profiles 20, which serve to compensate for tolerances, are already attached to the legs of the angle profiles protruding into the space when the first panel field on adjustable feet 23 (FIG. 4) is placed against these legs, leveled and adjusted.
Before erecting the second plate field adjoining this first plate field, one part of the two-part support 12 is mounted and then the second plate field, like the first plate field, is placed on upper and lower angle profiles 18 and 19. The strips 14 inserted into the grooves 15 of the opposite end faces of the plate fields are braced by the second part of the support 12, which is now to be inserted, through the grooves 13 formed in the support so that, after the two support parts have been screwed together by means of screws 24, a groove - and spring connection of the plate fields via the intermediate support 12, which can be released again in the simplest way at any time.
At the same time as the two support parts are screwed together, the profiles 16 are attached to which, after all other panel fields required for the desired mobile partition are mounted in the same way as described for the first two panel panels, the cover profiles 17 are clamped on both sides.
Finally, from the side opposite the angle profiles 18 and 19, the spaces between the panel fields and floor B and ceiling D are filled with mineral fiber material 25 and 26 and covered by screwing the Z profiles 21 to angle profiles 27 previously attached to ceiling D and floor B. .
Of course, the cavities 28 between the panel fields adjoining the existing walls W and the wall surfaces are also filled with mineral fiber material.
Tests to determine the fire resistance period were carried out with a partition wall constructed in this way. For these tests, panels were used with a core of 60 mm thickness, formed from two 30 mm mineral fiber panels with the brand name FLUM-ROC BRANDPLATTEN 110 kg / m3. The frame was made from strips of the branded product VERMIPAN. Adjacent to this were plasterboard panels 10 mm thick on both sides with aluminum foil glued to the core. The outermost layer consisted of 0.8 mm thick sheet steel on both sides; Mineral fiber strips were inserted into the spaces between the mobile partition wall and the existing parts of the building. The core of the supports consisted of the branded product VERMIPAN, the same material as the frame of the plate spring, and were covered on both sides with sheet steel strips.
Mineral fiber material was introduced between the supports and the cover profile 17. The wall was 80 mm thick in total.
The test wall was built into a concrete frame and, during the test, formed the front end wall of a furnace, the fire chamber of which was heated with oil burners.
The fire test lasted 120 minutes. The room closure remained intact during the entire duration of the experiment and the stability was guaranteed.
