Definitions
- baseboards to a wall using nails or screws require a baseboard processing after assembly, such as. B. painting, and is therefore not suitable for baseboards, for example made of wood with a factory-painted or plastic-coated visible surface.
- baseboards which have a longitudinal cavity on their wall side, in order to be able to cover plastered electrical lines or heating pipes with the baseboard, invisible fastenings are also known, but they are no longer up to the high demands of the interior of building rooms.
- plastic baseboards e.g. B.
- skirting board type with a cavity on the skirting board wall side is plugged with a kind of tongue and groove connection in the vertical direction on pieces of wooden strips that are attached to the wall with nails or screws.
- These pieces of wooden strips must be of sufficient height so that they do not splice when nailed or screwed on, and therefore do not leave much space left in the cavity to be able to accommodate plastered cables behind the baseboard.
- the wooden strip pieces must also be wide in the longitudinal direction of the baseboard to achieve sufficient strength on the wall, and due to the required width of the wooden strip pieces, it is very difficult to compensate for unevenness in the wall such that between the. the skirting board and the wall no longer gap.
- skirting board fasteners in which the holder engaging with a tongue and groove connection on the skirting board consists of a sheet metal plate, separate wall plugs and separate fastening screws for connecting the sheet metal plate to the wall plugs.
- Such multi-part skirting board holders require increased labor and cost for their installation on a wall.
- CH-A-560 816 As a holder, a wall drillable dowel, on which a collar serving as a stopper is arranged, up to which the dowel can be driven into the wall hole and thereby the Impact depth limited.
- the invention has set itself the task of creating a baseboard which can be fastened to a wall with an associated, adapted holder and which requires little time and effort and avoids the multiplicity of known holders for Tongue-and-groove connections can be reliably attached to a wall, following any unevenness in the longitudinal direction of the baseboard, and can also be removed at any time without affecting the wall attachment and can be covered with the electrical cables or heating pipes without the cables or tubes causing this Attaching or removing the baseboard is hindered.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in that the holder consists of a dowel, the end of which projects below the rib into the recess in the baseboard in addition to the holding part has angled downward stop part, which is set back relative to the holding part by the thickness of the rib towards the wall side of the skirting board and which has an extension which extends in the longitudinal direction of the dowel and is supported in the lower region of the recess on the skirting board rear side.
- the baseboard 1, the z. B. consists of wood or wood-based material and has a finished veneered or plastic-coated visible surface, is provided with a rear recess 2, which is open to the wall side 3 and floor side 4 of the baseboard 1.
- the recess 2 is set up in one groove-like recess 5 continues, whereby a downward rib 6 of the baseboard 1 is formed on the wall side 3.
- the recess 2, the recess 5 and the rib 6 extend continuously over the entire length of the baseboard 1, so that the individual points of attack belonging to the baseboard 1, adapted holder can be provided at any and only when the baseboard is installed.
- the holder can be provided at any distance from one another and engage the skirting board 1, in particular the bracket can be arranged at places on an uneven wall that are found to be necessary when mounting the skirting board, in order to pull the skirting board 1 to the side of wall corrugations without gaps.
- the holder for the skirting board 1 consists of a dowel 7 arranged below the rib 6 perpendicular to the wall side 3, the end of which over the wall side 3 can be fastened in a wall hole. This end is preferably designed as a lamella dowel with clamping lamellae anchoring like barbs in the wall bore.
- the wall hole for the dowel 7 is drilled above the floor at such a distance that the rib 3 does not touch the dowel 7 before the floor side 4 of the baseboard 1 sits on the floor when the baseboard 1 is plugged onto the lampr.
- the end of the dowel lying in the recess 2. 7. is provided with an upwardly angled holding part 8 which engages behind the rib 3 in contact and pulls the baseboard 1 against the wall.
- the skirting board 1 can be plugged onto the holding part 8 in the vertical direction or can also be removed from the holding part 8.
- the end of the dowel 7 lying in the recess 2 has a stop part 9 which is angled downward and which is set back relative to the holding part 8 by the thickness of the rib 6 toward the wall side 3 of the baseboard 1.
- the skirting board 1 at the untoron edge is pressed against the wall and leans at an angle, which could result in a gaping gap between the skirting board 1 and the wall
- the holding part 9 oinen in the longitudinal direction of the dowel 7 extend the extension 10, which corresponds to the vorgesohe NEN depth of the recess 2 is dimensioned so long that when it is attached to the holding part 8 of the skirting board 1 and joint-free contact of the upper skirting board edge on the wall, the rear skirting board 11 in the lower area of the recess 2, ie below the dowel 7, thereby touching the skirting board 1 supports against tipping.
- the angular design of the stop part 9 and extension 10 allows power cables or the like to be laid in the space between the extension 10 and the front end of the dowel 7.
- the length of the holding part 8 is matched to the height of the recess 5 in such a way that the upper end of the holding part 8 does not abut the upper edge of the recess 5 when the baseboard 1 is plugged in vertically, before the floor side 4 of the baseboard 1 hits the Floor.
- the holding part 8 of the dowel 7 is elastically bendable, which, for. B.
- the holder can be achieved by manufacturing the holder from a suitable plastic, and has the holder part 8 in the untensioned state, ie when the baseboard 1 is not yet plugged, an inclination in which the horizontal distance between the end of the holding part 8 and the in the plane of the wall side 3 lying stop part 9, ie the distance between the end of the holding part 8 and the wall itself, is smaller than the thickness of the rib 6.
- the holding part 8 with a spring force against the rib 6 of the pushes on the skirting board 1 and ensures a seamless installation of the skirting board 1 on the wall.
- the end of the holding part 8 is bevelled on the side facing the rib 6, as shown in the drawing.
- the molding and holder design according to the invention is not limited in its application to baseboards which are arranged in the corner between a wall and a floor, it is equally advantageous, for example, for strips which carry shelf rims firmly connected to them to attach a distance from the floor to a wall or around ledges; which serve as end strips of ceiling paneling or the like, to be mirrored in the corner between a room wall and a room ceiling.
