Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Herstellung von Phosphorverbindungen mit insekticiden Eigenschaften.
Es wurde bereits berichtet (in B.I.O.S. Schlußbericht
Nr. 1095), daß die Verbindung Tetradimethylamino-pyrophosphat, die im folgenden
als bis- (bis- Dimethylamino-phosphinsäure) -anhydrid bezeichnet wird, als Insekticid verwendet
werden kann.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß derartige insekticide Phosphorverbindungen dadurch hergestellt
werden können, daß ein wasserfreies Dialkylamin mit einer Lösung von Phosphoroxychlorid in
einem inerten Lösungsmittel umgesetzt und das erhaltene Produkt mit Wasser und einer tertiären
Base, vorzugsweise Pyridin, zur Reaktion gebracht wird. Wenn gewünscht, wird das Endprodukt
in üblicher Weise gereinigt, doch ist es im allgemeinen unnötig.
Vorzugsweise verwendet man ein Dialkylamin, dessen Alkylgruppen nicht mehr als 8 Kohlenstoffatome
enthalten, insbesondere Dimethylamin.
Eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung wird im folgenden an Hand der Herstellung
des bis-(bis-Dimethylamino-phosphinsäure)-anhydrids beschrieben.
Wie bereits hingewiesen, wird das Verfahren in zwei Stufen durchgeführt. In der ersten Stufe
wird ein Produkt erhalten, das im wesentlichen aus bis - (Dimethylamino) - phosphinsäurechlorid
besteht, indem wasserfreies Dimethylamin in einer Lösung von Phosphoroxychlorid in einem
inerten Lösungsmittel in Mengen eingeführt wird, (CH3), N
die der folgenden stöchiometrischen Reaktion entsprechen.

In einer zweiten Reaktionsstufe wird das Dimethylaminhydrochlorid
durch Filtration oder Abzentrifugieren entfernt und dem Produkt Pyridin im stöchiometrischen Verhältnis und Wasser in

einer Menge, die das stöchiometrische Verhältnis gemäß folgender Gleichung etwas überschreitet,

Die Reaktion in der zweiten Stufe scheint nach der Gleichung (2) zu verlaufen und ergibt ein
Produkt, das aus bis - (bis - Dimethylamino - phosphinsäure)-anhydrid (A) und Pyridinhydrochlorid
(B) besteht. Es wurde gefunden, daß es vorteilhaft ist, einen geringen Überschuß an Wasser über
das stöchiometrische Verhältnis hinaus zu verwenden, um ein Produkt mit erhöhter insekticider
Wirksamkeit zu erhalten, die auf eine erhöhte Ausbeute an dem gewünschten Produkt (A) zurückzuführen
ist. Das Pyridinhydrochlorid kann aus der Reaktionsmischung entfernt oder in dieser belassen
werden. Das Lösungsmittel wird abdestilliert.
Die erfindungsgemäß herzustellenden Phosphorverbindungen haben eine toxische Wirkung auf Warmblüter, die der anderer organischer Phosphorverbindungen ähnlich ist. Diese Wirkung besteht in einer Unterbindung der Aktivität der Cholinesterase.

Die erfindungsgemäß herzustellenden Verbindungen sind zur Bekämpfung verschiedener Schädlinge
geeignet, insbesondere gegen Insekten aus der Gruppe der Aphide (s. Bulletin of Entomological
Research, Band 40, Februar 1950, S. 481 ff. insbes. 483).
i. 600 Teile wasserfreies Dimethylamin wurden unter kräftigem Rühren bei einer Temperatur
von 35 bis 400 in eine Lösung eingeführt, die 500 Teile Phosphoroxychlorid in 1500 Teilen Benzol
enthielt. Die Reaktionsmischung wurde bei 400 belassen, bis die Reaktion im wesentlichen abgeschlossen
war. Sie wurde hierauf abgekühlt und das ausgeschiedene Dimethylaminhydrochlorid abfiltriert.
Zu dem Filtrat, das 405 Teile bis-(Dimethylamino)-phosphinsäurechlorid
enthielt, wurden 21,2 Teile Wasser und 186 Teile Pyridin zugesetzt, wobei
das Reaktionsgemisch so gekühlt wurde, daß die Temperatur nicht über 80 stieg. Dann wurde
die Reaktionsmischung auf 200 abgekühlt und bis zur vollständigen Ausfällung des Pyridinhydrochlorids
stehengelassen. Der Niederschlag wurde abfiltriert und das Benzol aus dem Filtrat bei
einem Vakuum von 40 mm Quecksilber abdestilliert, wobei die Temperatur der Flüssigkeit bis zu
ioo° stieg.
Der Rücketand bestand aus etwa 310 Teilen
eines Produktes, das beträchtliche insekticide Eigenschaften zeigt.
Andere inerte Lösungsmittel können in der ersten Stufe des Verfahrens an Stelle von Benzol
verwendet werden, so z. B. statt 1500 Teile Benzol 3000 Teile Tetrachlorkohlenstoff.
2. 600 Teile wasserfreies Dimethylamin wurden unter kräftigem Rühren bei 35 bis 400 einer
Lösung zugesetzt, die 500 Teile Phosphoroxychlorid in 1500 Teilen Benzol enthielt. Die Reaktionsmischung
wurde bei 400 stehengelassen, bis die Reaktion abgeschlossen war, dann wurde sie
abgekühlt und das ausgeschiedene Dimethylaminhydrochlorid abfiltriert.
Zu dem Filtrat, das 405 Teile bis-(Dimethylamino)-phosphinsäurechlorid
enthielt, wurden 21,2 Teile Wasser und 180 Teile Pyridin zugesetzt,
wobei so weit abgekühlt wurde, daß die Temperatur nicht über 8o° stieg. Eine Stunde nach Abschluß
des Wasserzusetzens wurden weitere 3,2 Teile Wasser zugesetzt, dann wurde die Reaktionsmischung
auf 200 abgekühlt und bis zum Abschluß der Ausfällung von Pyridinhydrochlorid stehengelassen.
Der Niederschlag wurde abfiltriert und das Benzol aus dem Filtrat bei einem Vakuum von
42 mm Quecksilber abdestilliert, wobei die Temperatur der Flüssigkeit bis auf ioo° stieg.
Das erhaltene Produkt hatte stärkere insekticide Eigenschaften als das Produkt des Beispiels 1.
Claims (3)
- Patentanspruch:i. Verfahren zur Herstellung von insekticiden Phosphorverbindungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein wasserfreies Dialkylamin, dessen Alkylgruppen vorzugsweise nicht mehr als 8 Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, insbesondere Dimethylamin, mit der Lösung von Phosphor-oxychlorid in einem inerten Lösungsmittel umgesetzt und das erhaltene Produkt mit Wasser und einer tertiären Base, vorzugsweise Pyridin, zur Reaktion gebracht wird.
- 2. Verfahren nach Anspruch ι zur Herstellung von bis - (bis-Dimethylamino-phosphinsäure) -anhydrid, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wasserfreies Dimethylamin so lange in eine Lösung von Phosphoroxychlorid in einem inerten Lösungsmittel eingeführt wird, bis die to Reaktionsmischung 4 Mol Amin je Mol Phosphoroxychlorid enthält, worauf das Dimethylaminhydrochlorid entfernt und der Rückstand mit Wasser und Pyridin umgesetzt wird.
- 3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß etwas mehr als 1 Mol Wasser auf 2 Mol der erhaltenen Phosphorverbindung verwendet wird.O 1532 9.
