Abstract
Fernsehsender
zum Übertragen
einer Anzahl Videosignale, wobei jedes Videosignal eine Programmnummer
hat, wobei der Sender Mischmittel (6) aufweist zum Übertragen
der Videosignale über
einen gemeinsamen Kanal und Zusammensetzungsmittel (1) zum Erzeugen
eines Mosaik-Videosignals mit einer Anzahl Teilbilder in einer horizontalen
und vertikalen Anordnung, wobei jedes Teilbild eines der genannten
Anzahl Videosignale darstellt, und wobei der Sender weiterhin Koppelmittel
(14) aufweist zum Erzeugen von Daten, welche die Anzahl sowohl der
horizontalen wie auch der vertikalen eine Anordnung bildenden Teilbilder
spezifizieren und welche die Position jedes Teilbildes an einem
Wiedergabeschirm mit einer Programmnummer des zugeordneten Videosignals koppeln,
wobei die Mischmittel (6) das genannte Mosaik-Videosignal übertragen und Daten über den
genannten gemeinsamen Kanal koppeln.
Claims (17)
- Fernsehsender zum Übertragen einer Anzahl Videosignale, wobei jedes Videosignal eine Programmnummer hat, wobei der Sender Mischmittel (
6 ) aufweist zum Übertragen der Videosignale über einen gemeinsamen Kanal und Zusammensetzungsmittel (1 ) zum Erzeugen eines Mosaik-Videosignals mit einer Anzahl Teilbilder in einer horizontalen und vertikalen Anordnung, wobei jedes Teilbild eines der genannten Anzahl Videosignale darstellt, und wobei der Sender weiterhin Koppelmittel (14 ) aufweist zum Erzeugen von Daten, welche die Anzahl sowohl der horizontalen wie auch der vertikalen eine Anordnung bildenden Teilbilder spezifizieren und welche die Position jedes Teilbildes an einem Wiedergabeschirm mit einer Programmnummer des zugeordneten Videosignals koppeln, wobei die Mischmittel (6 ) das genannte Mosaik-Videosignal übertragen und Daten über den genannten gemeinsamen Kanal koppeln. - Fernsehsender nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Videosignale digitale Videosignale sind, und wobei jedes Signal in einen betreffenden Elementar-Bitstrom transformcodiert wird, wobei der Sender weiterhin Mittel (
5 ) umfasst zum Codieren des genannten Mosaikbildes als weiteren Elementar-Bitstrom, wobei die Mischmittel einen Multiplexer (6 ) aufweisen zum Multiplexen jedes betreffenden Elementar-Bitstroms, des weiteres Elementar-Bitstroms und der Koppeldaten in einen Transportstrom, der über den genannten gemeinsamen Kanal übertragen wird. - Sender nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei wenigstens eines der Teilbilder kennzeichnend ist für das von dem zugeordneten Videosignal transportierte Fernsehprogramm.
- Sender nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Teilbilder kennzeichnend sind für betreffende Programme, geplant für spätere Übertragung, und die Koppeldaten Planungsdaten enthalten zum Programmieren des Empfängers zur automatischen Wiedergabe der genannten geplanten Programme.
- Sender nach Anspruch 2, wobei die genannten Koppeldaten durch Verwendung eines MPEG2-Descriptors (
15 ) übertragen werden. - Sender nach Anspruch 2, wobei ein Elementarbitstrom autonom codierte und prädiktiv codierte Bilder aufweist, die transformcodierte Blöcke mit DC-Koeffizienten enthalten und wobei die Mittel (
1 ) zum Zusammensetzen des Mosaikbildes Mittel (16 ,17 ,18 ) enthalten zum Selektieren der DC-Koeffizienten autonom codierter Bilder zum Bilden des genannten Teilbildes. - Fernsehempfänger zum Empfangen und Wiedergeben einer Anzahl Videosignale und eines Mosaik-Videosignals, das ein Mosaikbild darstellt, das eine Anzahl Teilbilder in einer horizontalen und vertikalen Anordnung aufweist, wobei jedes Teilbild eines der genannten Anzahl Videosignale darstellt, wobei jedes Videosignal eine Programmnummer hat, wobei der Fernsehempfänger einen Wiedergabeschirm aufweist, und wobei der Fernsehempfänger weiterhin benutzergesteuerte Andeutungsmittel (
46 ) aufweist zum Selektieren eines selektierten Teilbildes aus dem Mosaikbild, und Steuermittel (45 ) zum Empfangen und Decodieren von Daten, welche die Anzahl sowohl der horizontalen wie auch der vertikalen eine Anordnung bildenden Teilbilder spezifizieren und welche die Position jedes Teilbildes des Mosaikbildes mit der Programmnummer des zugeordneten Videosignals koppeln, und ein selektiertes Videosignal, dargestellt durch das selektierte Teilbild zum Wiedergeben selektieren. - Fernsehempfänger nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Videosignale digitale Videosignale sind und in Elementar-Bitströme transformcodiert werden, wobei eine Anzahl der Elementar-Bitströme zu einem Transportstrom gemultiplext werden, wobei einer der genannten Bitströme das Mosaikbild darstellt, wobei der Fernsehempfänger weiterhin Demultiplexmittel (
40 ) aufweist zum Extrahieren der genannten Elementar-Bitströme aus dem Transportstrom, und Mittel zum Empfangen und Decodieren eines Elementar-Bitstroms zur Wiedergabe an einem Wiedergabeschirm (44 ), wobei die Steuermittel (45 ) dafür sorgen, dass die Empfangs- und Decodermittel zum Empfangen und Decodieren des Elementar-Bitstroms das genannte selektierte Videosignal darstellt. - Empfänger nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, weiterhin mit Mitteln (
47 ) zum Herleiten des selektierten Teilbildes aus dem Mosaiksignal und mit Mitteln (48 ) zum gleichzeitigen Wiedergeben des selektieren Teilbildes und des zugeordneten Videosignals während einer vorbestimmten Periode nach der Selektion des genannten Videosignals. - Empfänger nach Anspruch 8, wobei die genannten Koppeldaten in Form eines MPEG2-Descriptors empfangen werden, und wobei die Steuermittel (
45 ) den Empfang des genannten Deskriptors detektieren und in Reaktion auf die genannte Detektion den Elementar-Bitstrom, der das Mosaik-Videosignal darstellt, empfangen und wiedergeben. - Verfahren zum Übertragen einer Anzahl Videosignale über einen gemeinsamen Kanal, wobei jedes Videosignal eine Programmnummer hat, wobei das Verfahren die Verfahrensschritte aufweist: – Erzeugung eines Mosaik-Videosignals, das eine Anzahl Teilbilder in einer horizontalen und vertikalen Anordnung aufweist, wobei jedes Teilbild eines der genannten Anzahl Videosignale darstellt, – Erzeugung von Daten, welche die Anzahl sowohl der horizontalen wie auch der vertikalen eine Anordnung bildenden Teilbilder spezifizieren und welche die Position jedes Teilbildes am Wiedergabeschirm mit der Programmnummer des entsprechenden Videosignals koppeln, – Übertragung des genannten Mosaik-Videosignals und der Kopplung von Daten über den genannten gemeinsamen Kanal.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, wobei die Videosignale digitale Videosignale sind, wobei jedes Signal in einen betreffenden Elementar-Bitstrom transformcodiert wird, und wobei das Mosaik-Videosignal in einen weiteren betreffenden Elementar-Bitstrom transformcodiert wird, wobei dieses Verfahren einen Verfahrensschritt der Multiplexierung jedes betreffenden Elementar-Bitstroms, des weiteren Elementar-Bitstroms und der Koppeldaten in einen Transportstrom, der über den genannten Kanal übertragen werden soll.
- Verfahren zum Empfangen und Wiedergeben von Videosignalen und eines Mosaik-Videosignals, das ein Mosaikbild mit einer Anzahl Teilbilder in einer horizontalen und vertikalen Anordnung darstellt, wobei jedes Teilbild ein Signal der genannten Anzahl Videosignale darstellt, wobei jedes Videosignal eine Programmnummer aufweist, wobei das Verfahren die Verfahrensschritte aufweist: – Empfang von Daten, welche die Anzahl sowohl der horizontalen wie auch der vertikalen eine Anordnung bildenden Teilbilder spezifizieren und welche die Position jedes Teilbildes an einem Wiedergabeschirm mit einer Programmnummer des zugeordneten Videosignals koppeln, – Decodierung der Programmnummer eines Videosignals, dargestellt durch die Position des wiedergegebenen Teilbildes, das durch eine Anzeigevorrichtung angezeigt worden ist, – und Selektion des genannten Videosignals zur Wiedergabe.
- Fernsehsignal mit einer Anzahl Videosignale, wobei jedes Signal eine Programmnummer hat, wobei ein Mosaik-Videosignal, das ein Mosaikbild darstellt, eine Anzahl Teilbilder in einer horizontalen und vertikalen Anordnung aufweist, wobei jedes Teilbild ein Videosignal einer Anzahl Videosignale darstellt, und wobei das Fernsehsignal weiterhin Daten aufweist, welche die Anzahl sowohl der horizontalen wie auch der vertikalen eine Anordnung bildenden Teilbilder spezifizieren und die Position jedes Teilbildes an einem Wiedergabeschirm mit der Programmnummer des entsprechenden Videosignals koppeln.
- Fernsehsignal nach Anspruch 14, wobei das Signal ein MPEG2-Fernsehsignal ist mit einer Anzahl digitaler Videosignale, wobei jedes Signal in einen betreffenden Elementar-Bitstrom transformcodiert ist, wobei ein weiterer Elementar-Bitstrom, der das Mosaikbild darstellt und Daten zur Kopplung jedes Teilbildes innerhalb des Mosaikbildes mit dem zugeordneten Videosignal koppeln.
- Signal nach Anspruch 15, wobei die genannten Koppeldaten durch Verwendung eines MPEG2-Dekriptors übertragen werden.
- Signal nach Anspruch 15 oder 16, wobei die Elementar-Bitströme autonom codierte und prädikativ codierte Bilder mit transformcodierten Blöcken mit DC-Koeffizienten umfassen, und wobei der weitere Elementar-Bitstrom die DC-Koeffizienten der genannten autonom codierten Bilder aufweist.
