In der Patentschrift 171293, Kl. 12p, ist
ein Pyrazolderivat des Anthrachinone beschrieben, das aus Anthrachinonyl-i-hydrazin
durch Wasserentziehung entsteht und nach dem Vorschlag von Möhlau und Viertel
(Dissertation, Technische Hochschule, Dresden, 1911) als Pyrazolanthron zu bezeichnen ist.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß beim Erhitzen dieses Pyrazolanthrons mit Ätzalkalien in
glatter Weise ein Farbstoff entsteht, der Baumwolle aus der Küpe in chlorechten gelben
Tönen anfärbt. Die Schmelze kann mit oder ohne Zusatz von Verdünnungsmitteln, wie
z. B. Wasser oder Alkohol, ausgeführt werden. Der Farbstoff besitzt wahrscheinlich folgende
Konstitution:
ι Teil Pyrazolanthron wird mit 5 Teilen Ätzkali und 10 Teilen Alkohol am absteigenden
Kühler unter Rühren gekocht. Die anfangs gelbrote Masse färbt sich zunächst grün,
dann blau. Die Schmelze wird beendet, wenn ihre Färbung an Intensität nicht mehr zunimmt.
Die Schmelze wird nach dem Erkalten mit Wasser verdünnt, aufgekocht und nach dem
Einleiten von Luft filtriert und unter Zusatz von etwas Säure ausgewaschen. Der Farbstoff
kann direkt als Paste verwendet werden. Er stellt nach dem Trocknen ein gelbrotes Pulver
dar, das in Wasser unlöslich, in hochsieden-
den organischen Lösungsmitteln, z. B. in Nitrobenzol schwer, in Anilin mit rötlichgelber
Farbe löslich ist. In konzentrierter Schwefelsäure löst sich der Farbstoff mit gelbroter
Farbe, in 20 prozentigem Schwefelsäureanhydrid mit roter Farbe. Mit alkalischer Hydrosulfitlösung
gibt der Farbstoff eine grünblaue Küpe, aus der Baumwolle in blauen Tönen angefärbt
wird, die nach dem Waschen und Säuren in ein chlorechtes Gelb übergehen.

- Patent-Anspruch :Verfahren zur Darstellung eines gelben Küpenfarbstoffes der Anthracenreihe, darin bestehend, daß man Pyrazolanthron mit Ätzalkalien erhitzt.PERLIN. GEDRUCKT IN DER REICHSDRUCKEREI.
